Well Shepherd is just a rendition of the VA. It's the guy who plays as head of a US base in the intro of the first Michael Bay transformers movie.
It's always like this, a lot of supposedly important characters in modern triple A titles look completely ordinary and unremarkable

Looking back at the mw3 2011 campaign and the missions where Russia invades New York and Paris were so good and will never be recreated
For a while I thought I was over glorifying the old CODs and that nostalgia was clouding me. But nah, I went back and played a few of them over and they're genuinely just that good.

Oboe sounded like a part of him died inside while playing this "campaign". That's how you know a game is genuinely horrible.
Infinite Wards lowest point was Ghosts and Treyarch is all over the place in terms of quality, but Sledgehammer started out mid and has gotten worse and worse over 9 years.
@@benkersten1705FYI: I just want to note I didn't occur to me too say that you never complained about the previous titles because you were talking about lowest points in all the developers and such. I was just saying it interesting hearing that people regard ghost as a sucky game and till this day I've seen people complain about it more than previous titles I've mentioned. And id also like to refrase saying you complained about it because you didn't I was using the word loosely so I apologize for that.

@@ki11atj49 for me, ghosts had an interesting premise and cool set pieces, it’s just the story and a bit of the aesthetics that bothered me with it.
@@benkersten1705 I think the story was too predictable but at least it was a fun campaign the multiplayer was hated but I had fun on it If the multiplayer had the DLC maps instead of the launch maps, it would be considered one of the best

To be fair I don’t even think this is entirely Sledgehammer’s fault because I don’t think even Infinity Ward or Treyarch could’ve made this good. Like this was meant to be dlc for MW2 and Activision made them switch it to a full $70 game within a year. Most main cod entries usually have 3 years to be made.
The 5 nights at freddies skit cut to mw2 ghost death was the greatest piece of cinematic editing ive ever seen.

Can’t wait for Modern Warfare 4 where Soap shows up and Captain Price says “Soap? Makarov shot you!” and Soap says “Well I wasn’t in the Chunnel.” and then General Shepard comes back with an eyepatch and Captain Price says “General Shepard? I shot you!” and General Shepard says “I wasn’t in that office.” and then they reboot the series again.

The ghost balaclava still looks better than the 3D edge lord mask. Looks more like modern warfare instead of mad max.

It's because triple a gaming companies refuse to optimize their games, it's why modern games run poorly and why you always need the most expensive graphics card to play a game who's graphics haven't changed since 2016.
If optimized this game would've been 60-80gbs.

There is not a chance mw3 actually has content worth 200+ gbs.
I understand it's hard coding, especially planning out in advance to have clean lines, but these guys are a multi billion dollar company. They have the time and money, but refuse to do it. Yet their coders and lower level employees are still forced into crunch time, and paid pennies compared to what the executives make

CoD peaked with CoD3. You had to do math to figure out your KD. It would make the CoD players of today actually think for once. Or at the very least introduce them to the calculator app on their phone.
I haven't bought a Call of Duty game at launch since Black Ops 2, and I only bought Infinite Warfare for the campaign last year. So where are the big army vs army setpieces like Wolverines and The Only Easy Day Was Yesterday? This new stuff feels like it's all one squad against an entire battalion, and totally clinical atmospheres. Even in the old Modern Warfare campaigns, if you were going to be a one-man army, was usually irregulars like the favela gangers or the Somali militiamen, the sort of people you can see a spec ops team cutting down with ease, even if that didn't really translate to the gameplay. That, or the narrative tells you that you really shouldn't be fighting that many soldiers all at the same time, like Cliffhanger and Eye Of The Storm.

The main problem I have with Oboeshoes content is that I absolutely love the videos and would like to watch the streams too but Oboe streams at like 3am of my local time and I do need to sleep

How do you mess up games that already have awesome set pieces and a story line? Literally all they had to do was basically remake the original trilogy with a few surprises and innovations and they couldn’t do it.
