It has been good since the install. With the exception of the owner installing a super fast charger that put out too much power for the system, it's been fine. I've used Caltric stators on a few bikes with success.
Thank u for sharing i believe my problem is the same i have a honda cbr 1000 rr 2013 and had the same symptoms it starting to give me the issue of starting on a cold start but after riding it it for a while and turning of it wouldnt start right away i kept using it like that then it completely turned of on me on the road .i got scared though i had seized the engine but rielized it has fresh new oil from last week and i always make sure i have oil .
If the stator goes bad the bike will run until the battery voltage drops too low to sustain power and the bike will shut off, yes. If the battery is healthy it will recharge itself somewhat and may allow you to start the bike after sitting off for a while and then the bike will shut off again after the charge is gone. It does sound like you have this same problem, but it's worth verifying the voltage of the bike above idle to see if there's more than 13v to charge the battery while riding.
@@alexdombi-weridetwo I'm searching for it on quadlock's website, but unable to find it. I'll continue to look and see if I'm able to find something that'll work. Thanks
I'm not 100% certain, but believe they are the same 04-06 (maybe even 07). Cross referencing the OEM part with the ones listed as compatible matches indicates they are the same, but I would recommend you verify the part numbers match as well.
It's in the description but here you go! Here is the Stator & Regulator/Rectifier kit purchased from Amazon- remember to verify it fits your bike! amzn.to/3Ky6fI1
Its a shame you didn't show doing resistance checks on the stator 3 phase plug to ground as this is how they usually fail , to confirm diagnosis and to help others fault finding.
I knew someone would call me out for that :D I get the bolts started by hand and then just the driver to get through the thread and a torque wrench to finish it off. If you mean on the removal, that's a fair point, but as mentioned in the video, I only did it because someone else called me out for only using ratchets on another bike. I seldom actually use power tools. Good to note for others, thanks
Hi, great video, where did you get that usb port with the voltage reader on it?
Hi, thanks! It was purchased from Amazon. Here's a link: amzn.to/47tXIR6
Hello. I see that the kit you got has bad reviews.. has the bike been ok since?

My question is does that happen on a bad stators and rectifiers? Does the power and engine turn off wile riding?

Hey, how does he have his Quadlock mount attached? I'm currently using the clutch mount but I don't like it.
Edited to correct- it's mounted to the bolts the oem stabilizer uses. From quadlock it looks like the flat rectangle two mount plate.
If you're able to, could you share a photo of it?
I can't share photos via comments, but if you pause this video at the beginning, you can see it.

@shue-moua I didn't see it listed in the products either but when I did the "build your own" it was listed in the bases.
Does the kit work for a 2004 cbr1000rr fireblade

You're right- a definite miss on my part. Sorry.
Rectifier... If you're using a lithium battery It's best to get a Rectfier that is compatible..
That's a good call out. The original spec charging system is set up for a regular battery (lead acid or agm) over a lithium one.
Very bad idea to use power tools on fine threaded bolts
I knew someone would call me out for that :D I get the bolts started by hand and then just the driver to get through the thread and a torque wrench to finish it off.
