Great video I really appreciate it, helped a lot.
I really don't understand why these manufacturers don't include the brackets and the grommets with the line. The whole reason why I need to replace mine is because the rubber grommet under bracket that goes around the rubber part of the line on the firewall side ripped from wear and tear and because of that there was nothing protecting the rubber tube and the bracket cut into the tube and cause a leak. I could not find this rubber grommet anywhere in any of the parts stores.
In addition the bracket on the front side of the motor was broke where the bolthole is that secures it to the motor. Here again I could not find this bracket anywhere.
Chances are when you replace the pressure line you're probably going to have to replace something with those brackets to so the fact that they don't include this is ridiculous.

Just did my 2013 Traverse which is the same platform, went very smooth after watching video. Tall trans funnel does not work on windy day...what a mess. Easier to top off PS tank and run for 2 seconds then refill and repeat. Just fine after 3rd time.
Thanks for yet another awesome video 1A Auto!

I am planning to do this repair in my traverse 2012. FYI, I called the dealership, they said it would cost $ 98.99 + 5 hours of work = ~1000. Excellent video BTW.

I had a 2008 Saturn Vue with the 3.6 V6 then I changed my pressure hose and what I noticed was it leaked right near where the hose gets close to the exhaust or catalytic converter My guess being the pressure side there's high pressure in there also an increase temperature due to the pressure increase of the fluid plus the exhaust temperature just weaken the hose in that area would you say that it's the exact same case of leak for this hose too?

Hello, hey I have a 2012 Chevy Traverse LT trying to put the power steering pump on and I'm having the trouble that when I drop the subframe on the passenger side it's only going down two of the four in required to pull the power steering pump. Can you think of anything I could have done wrong?

Do it yourself, labor book says 5.7 hours for AWD because GM says the transaxle and catalytic converter has to come out. Shops are going to charge this rate

@@lgldrgdlr it’s because GM says the transfer case and catalytic converter has to come out, obviously it doesn’t have to but this is what they will go by, calls for 5.7 hr
