puget sound big shark

I ended up losing this fish but after I got into the surface it dove for the bottom and stayed there for about an hour.
I tried to towe it into shore,
I got it there but lost it.
It was either a big topi shark or 7 Gill broad nose. You can see it near the end of the video if only briefly.
I hooked into in fought 3 different species of shark today.
I only landed one it was a topi shark about 20 maybe 30 pounds. I was so tired I can't tell you how they get really was.
I let it go but I wish I hadn't I looked. It up online and it looks like it's absolutely scrumptious when cooked correct.
I'm always up for a new experience if only To try it.

brings back memories of growing up on east bay drive in olympia..we used to go out at night and catch pogi's and catch sharks all night..nasty ones we called man eaters..not sure what species..but they were chrome with big pink spots down there sides and looked like miniature great whites..i caught a 5 footer and it was nasty and took about 1/2 an hour to catch.all teeth and nasty those ones.

Definitely a 7gill. Soupfins make you think they are going to spool you. Long strong tugs are cow sharks. Did you get it up?
