I'm not sure if this is the biggest event in it's history. Time spiral and the Urza saga were pretty huge from my understanding, though I wasn't playing back then, and I don't know enough mtg history to be sure. This is definitely one of the most ambitious sets/events in a long time (if not ever) though.
Garuk shows up at the last second cuts off Bolas's head and screams "THIS WILL LOOK GOOD ON MY WALL!" Before planeswalking away. Several sets latter Bolas's Head is found to be still conscious and mounted in Garuk's trophy room... Ugin nearly dies laughing.

Plot Twist - Bolas just want to rebuild his small, cute house with his cozy armchair, old books, alchemic stuff and cup of good tea that was destroyed accidentaly once by Urza or something.
I run a dnd campaign that takes place in the MtG multiverse, which my players have never played or heard of. I’ve been building up Nicol Bolas for well over a couple months(my players are level 13) and they were HORRIFIED when they found out the Amonkhet and its people, who they made way more friends with than on any other plane, were just pawns for the Dragon who had killed 3 party members. I don’t know how they’re gonna take it when they learn that Samut, Neheb, Hapatra, and all of their other Amonkhet pals were killed not for the grand take over of Ravnica as they thought, but instead for nothing more than the SETUP to a trap.
Well, 5€ Planar Brigh, 5€ Liliana Vess, 20€ Immortal Sun and some Eternals do sound pretty cheap for "The Ultimate Power" - might consider buying them to rule the wor... ahm to include them in my deck
I've been playing Magic for 14 years now, coming up on 15. I've rarely ever heard of any semblance of story in that time because it wasn't super available. These kinds of videos that wrap things up and connect a bunch of dots are extremely interesting and helpful to me. Please don't stop making them.

Today November 4th 2022. Today I just barely watched your video. I really wish this had come out and had been adequately advertised before or during the War of the Spark.
All these planeswalkers dying... ...meanwhile my character is sitting on the sidelines eating Rakdos popcorn, cheering on the Boros and still calling out Ral for his stupidity.
Then just before he gains ultimate power the true overlords or the multiverse show up having followed the same beacon as the planeswalkers. The Eldrazi titans have returned. Finally will everyone realize that the eldrazi aren’t monsters. The protect the order of the multiverse and only when they’re gone has this fallen into true chaos. All hail the colorless ones!
This is awesome. Though I was hoping that this would cover some of the earlier plans and schemes of Bolas from before the Gatewatch era. That would have been a helpful recap.
