Urza, specifically from the phrase "In every conflict, Urza was known as the second biggest a**hole in the universe, second only to whomever he is up against"
Ajani is my favorite. He stands for everything that is good. He just got a legendary card and I just made a 60 card deck and a commander deck with him.
I mean, if u count Ugin's age using Sarkhan's timeline, then yes, Sorin is the oldest living planeswalker but from Ugin's perspective he is clearly the oldest now that Nicol Bolas is dead again. Cuz fun fact, their birth is the oldest recorded event in the known MtG multiverse
Will and Rowan aren't just working together on that card, they actually share a spark in the lore. If either of them planeswalks, the other comes with. Wrenn doens't pilot treefolk, just trees. The Six card from MH3 should have been a plant to be accurate to the lore. Six, Seven, and Realmbreaker are just trees.
Nahiri is the single worst villain in the story. And in a story with Yawgmoth, Nicol Bolas, and Elesh Norn…that’s damning. She knows what she does is wrong-she’s just so focused on vengeance she doesn’t care.
I just recently started getting into magic and I’m trying to learn about the lore rn and found the concept of planeswalkers really interesting so this video is perfect for me and I thank you for making it!
Welcome to this great game & this community that's so vast that you'll be digging up new friends while collecting these wonderful pieces of art on cardboard. KEEP STAYING PAWZITIVE 👍
KEEP STAYING PAWZITIVE BRO. CONGRATS ON 1K SUBS. Took me a while, but I'm starting to move up more. I'm excited to see this video. Since I'm a fan of most plainswalkers. But I'm here on UA-cam for the art of this wonderful game
Great video! Just some tweaks here and there about gatewatch members, desparked characters and Freyalise being tied to red mana and it would be comprehensive!
There's plenty more I could mention for almost everyone on this list. This was meant as a quick "if you find this idea cool, maybe try playing them" kind of video. I will be doing full deep dives on each characters lore with more than 20 seconds dedicated to each in the future :)
As far as I can tell she was born on cayenne, taken prisoner when the phyrexians invaded, her spark ignited and she went to theros, THEN she went to Alara. But if you have sources that say otherwise I'd love to take a look
Love this video, and thank you for the recap, but please look into how to pronounce these characters’ names properly. It’s important to try and respect the irl cultures these characters are based off of
I mean it'd be strange if I wrote a video about batman and referred to them as 'her' the whole time. Even if you don't care about pronouns, the storytelling and coherence matter on a pretty fundamental level. I'm not worried about offending a non-existent person, I'm worried about accuracy.
Unless I'm listening to this post-edit, Ashiok is referred to by They/Them pronouns 3 out if the 4 times pronouns are used, with 'She' used to explain their power set. Perhaps a slip-up, but I don't get he feeling it was intentional.

He’s not dead, only trapped

yes definitely would love to see a longer video on one or two planeswalkers.
As I dive into the world of Magic for the first time in years, this channel is such a treat. Happy to support!

i WANT to like nahiri because I love her design, but her story makes that hard lol
Nahiri is a great example of why revenge isn't worth it.
That said, WOULD

This was meant to be super brief. I'm going to do in depth dives of them where I will put everything::)

Here we have a hellish invader who summons nightmare monsters.
Meanwhile the background music is just cilling 😆
Hey Wizards, if any of your staff are watching this video. Make Ragavan a planeswalker please and thanks :)
I really love the nice planeswalkers! Like Minotaur dad or cat dad or dragon dad
Love me my Ugins, powerhouses, the both of them.
This will definitely be entertaining
YOU MENTIONED BOB! SOMEONE FINALLY REMEMBERED BOB!
Comet is my favorite. I try to fit them in any deck I can
What a stellar pup
More davrial Kane his lore is great especially his contract magic and demon minions

Why not mention the fact Ashiok is literally part of Jace?

Niko's pronouns are they/them, they've never used he/him in any cards or material featuring them.
Ashiok is canonically genderless and they/them. they dont have a gender and are more ethereal than physical as well

I've come to represent the army of Ashiok fans who need to let you know Ashiok's gender is Ashiok
Elspeth is from Bant in Shards of Alara not Capenna

Isn’t Ashiok a guy ??
I believe their gender either hasn't been revealed, or they are specifically non-gendered. At least that's what I was seeing? I could be wrong 😅
@@OOMTGI think they are actually Jace, as we can see jace transforming from Ashiok in the thunder junktion

You got so close with not misgendering ashiok but who cares about respecting the nightmare mind melting shadow
Honestly it was just a long writing and recording session. Brain was completely burnt out lol
