@@rainbowangel5264Max befriends a mythical pokemon before he's old enough to actually be a trainer, meanwhile Bonnie kills a man. Kalos kids are just built different I guess.
So, just a bit of an interesting thing, Pokemon X and Y actually are the only time a villain actually has a different fate in different versions. In Y, the Ultimate Weapon is powered by the energy of Yveltal, the Legendary Pokemon of Death, which means that when Lysander turns the weapon against himself it kills him. In X, Lysander's fate is actually _worse than death,_ as the weapon was powered by the energy of Xerneas, the Legendary Pokemon of Life - which means that X's Lysander is now immortal and buried alive under tons of rock.
@@groudonvert7286 I would assume that being buried in rubble while being hit by an ancient energy weapon powered by Pokemon's equivalent of Hades would be enough to kill someone. Lysander's fate in X is a bit less obvious, but we can extrapolate based on how AZ is immortal due to using the weapon.
Acctually that would be weird. The Ultimate Weapon uses the legendary's energy as a fuel or battery but not as what determines whether to kill everyone or to turn everyone in the base immortal and that's why the legendaries are interchangable there. In Pokémon Evolutions is where this plot is used. There, Calem catches Xerneas and fights Lysandre. Xerneas litterally one shot his Mega Gyaradas (what a great idea that was to put your ace in a disadvantage against a powerful angry deer god...), Lysandre freaks out and reveals that the weapon is aiming right back at the base and with Xerneas's power the beam will turn him, his team and the heroes (Calem, Serena and Shauna) immortal sothey can all share AZ's fate and suffer for eternity. I heard a version that says Lysandre is still alive buried under the rubble of his base but Xerneas's power keeps him alive. He might've been crushed, his bones may have broke, not even suffocaation can help as he cannot die no matter what, all that's left for this man is to just lie there for eternity.
If we ignore the part where they wanted to destroy the world's entire biosystem, Archie and Maxie's situationship is lowkey funny. Also, poor Cyrus is so much of an introvert, he actually love the distortion world more than the actual owner of the place does.
Ehh, giratina is shown to care a lot about the distortion world, in the jewel of life, palliative and dialga fight which causes massive destruction. Because the distortion world mirrors the real world, issues happen in there so giratina Leaves to go stop them.
Well....Giratina probably appreciates the company. Then again said Company is Cyrus so...i kinda doubt any engaging conversations came to be. poor Giratina
I mean, the Distortion World has plants, water, theoretically infinite areas. A human could survive there. He also has his Pokémon, so he has protection. He’ll be fine, he got his freedom from spirit.
If you played X instead of Y, Lysandre doesn't die but he gets eternal life and has to live as an immortal but crushed and buried under a collapsed cave.
I’m pretty sure the implication is that he was killed by the explosion of his machine, not by the legendary. And that part is the same in both X and Y.
@@drm726 the thing is its unknown the ultimate weapon is a big energy gun so it makes sense that what ever hit by it would be destroyed/dead but the power source backing it up was (if it's X) the literal god of life so even if the big gun blew up the energy that hit the impact sight should have effected Lysander giving him immortality
@Daniel Malinen No matter what version you play, he intended on using Xerneas or Yveltal's life energy to make the superweapon strong enough to obliterate the world. Giving the world eternal life is counter-productive to his goals.

The closest to a villain role in SV is the professors. They mistreat Arven, cause dangerous pokemon to appear in their world through their reckless research.
Not just "closest thing" either--rhey were full on supervillains. And then there's the entire previous faculty at the school, since they made Star out to be bad guys when Star was just trying to fix the bullying issue that the faculty refused to address

I think my fave of the bunch is Colress, but only bc I love the fact that they put so much work into a character like him, a scientist who is indifferent to the suffering of others, caring *only* for his research, there is no need for the ends to "justify" the means bc he feels no need to justify his actions in the first place, only for them to give him a head that looks like the internet explorer icon and rendering me entirely unable to take him even a little bit seriously LMAO
@@joshuafrizzell7856Ash could still return not as the main character. I think it would be cool getting a prime adult Ash vs a prime Giovanni showdown in a future movie or series.
I feel like Cyrus is so intelligent he would vehemently deny he feels anything of the sort and says he aims for greater things. That feelings are too complex or messy to deal and comprehend, so they never get addressed. Or perhaps he is incapable of doing so. But his actions point to an abused child wanting control over everything in his life and fix it up like he could with the machines he tinkered with growing up. The "incomplete spirit" he goes on about while true might also reference the traumas of his childhood he still feels to this day. The hole they left behind never healed. He could not fix himself like the rest of his machines so he seeks control, perhaps thinking he could undo the empty feeling he can't seem to escape.
Honestly, when you lay it out, I'm more concerned for Cyrus than anything, like, the guy likes the distortion world and intentionally traps himself in Darkrai's nightmare, that's... I'm very concerned for his mental and will to live is all I'm saying.
His manga self is much different. Cyrus wasn’t exactly mega introverted but logical finding fascination in things like history and the intricacies of machines. If he didn’t become a supervillain he likely could have been a great historian or archaeologist. It was actually his fascination for the sinnoh origin story specific of the three concepts of willpower emotion and wisdom that lead to his ambition wanting to reshape the world because he believed the world lacked true completion even acknowledge his own lack of emotional expression. However his plan was from the start sabotaged by chiron his scientist who was never on Cyrus’s side and worked with him only to get in opening into the distortion world to get his hands on giratina. It was also due to his loss to Dia Pearl and Platina did Cyrus realized that unite between others helps people towards completion and after encountering Dia in the distortion world did Cyrus agree to help Dia stop Chiron. And after they saved the day Cyrus and his admins who loyally looked up to him leave as “changed” people Cyrus even getting acknowledged by shaymen.

While Masters' canonicity can be debated, I like Masters bringing back the original Lysandre after he was presumed dead for about seven years, and developing on his friendship with Sycamore. I feel that was something interesting about both of them in XY was them being friends, but they never developed on it any. Also, you didn't mention this, but the total unhingedness of him getting to boil two people alive with Volcanion, like I'm still in awe that was greenlit. And then it's heavily implied he was going to do the same to a third. I always made serial killer jokes about him, but it seems they made it official.
@@Phoenix_Blader_93 In some cases, when there's added development and story lore, I often feel Masters is the writers getting their second chance to fix things or even tell the story they wanted to in their original games, but just _couldn't_ for time constraints or whatever other reason. Things like how they elaborated on Sycamore and Lysandre's friendship, having Cyrus start to change his ways due to his admins not wanting him to erase their loyalty to him and actually showing he does have things he cares about (I always felt they might have been teasing a potential redemption arc in Ultra going by his final interaction with the player, but then came the faithful remakes), them showing Lusamine having learned from her mistakes and trying to make amends with her family, etc., are canon to me.
This! I liked that too. I didn't liked how cheesy it was that he just appeared there out of the blue. I really do like Masters but it's definictly a separate timeline where things are weird. People pretty much don't age there except Red and his friends. Isn't it weird how for example Hilbert and Hilda or other protags who aren't separate characters unlike May and Brendan or Dawn and Lucas, are both in Pasio at the same time?
@@Kyumifun Ya know what they say, if ya don't see a body, you better watch your back. It's definitely in a weird timeline and there's definitely stuff that clashes. But I still stick to my guns that it's the writer's second chance, given the development we receive. Also, Hilda and Hilbert are in the games as non-playable too, you can team up with the one you didn't choose on the Subway. (I think you can't say the same for Gen7-Gen8 protags, but it seems like they chose Gloria as the canon protagonist for that game, since she partnered with Zacian.)
Lysandre returning would unironically be super dope (whether it's in another game or even the anime) since he actually does have grounds to return either way (given immortality in X via Xerneas' power or weird mega rock magic shenanigans preserving him against Zygarde). It would be interesting to see him pose as if he's reformed only to later reveal that he became even more unhinged as he unleashes a new plan that makes his old plan of worldwide selective genocide look like a joke in comparison.
Volo has to be the one I'm most curious about what happened to. He said he was going to conquer Arceus "No matter how many centuries it takes" him. To me that implies he had at least something in mind for prolonging his life, potentially to an immortal scale. I'd love to see him cameo in a newer game where he's lived all the way to the present.
Well now that Legends Z-A is on the way maybe Volo makes an appearance in Kalos, probably not as big as in Legends Arceus but still an appearance none the less
In Paldea, the main villain was already gone, and you're fighting what remains of their will, kinda makes me think of who will be the antagonist of the DLC since as of now there are no clear bad guy in Paldea

Yep, Ghetsis wasn't a brilliant villain. He just had resources at his disposal to do whatever operstion he wanted to( he was rich basically) an easy target to manipulate for someone as smart as Colress
I hope they someday conclude the story of Giovanni and Team Rocket in the anime. They’re(so far) no longer the longtime marketable villains, so it’s possible.
A Team Rocket civil war would be perfect for giving the group the spotlight. The TRio as well as Cassidy and Boff representing the old guard who have been around since the beginning and Matori being the relatively new blood, a more ambitious faction which comes into conflict with with old guard. The Journeys anime did an episode where the TRio, while on holiday, helped while staying incognito to thwart Matori kidnapping Pokémon.

In Masters we found out that ORAS Archie and Maxie were friends in the past, even being part of the same green piece like organisation before splitting up and creating Team Aqua and Magma. At the end of their Masters Story they then want to work together again to preserve the beauty of nature. They could ally with Lysandre who has an equal goal. But that's just my wishful thinking as he has the Water/Fire type at his side.
... Lysandre's goal has nothing to do with what they want. If anything they should team up with Rose. ...once Masters bothers to add him they confirmed he was coming in September of 2021 what the heck why are they dragging their feet with him...
N arguably isn't a villain, so you made the right choice to axe him from this list. He was just a pure-hearted man who was manipulated into doing evil acts. Easily manipulated due to how much kindness in his heart he has for Pokemon. If someone wants to argue that N is a villain, they might as well call the protagonist, Lan Hikari, from the Megaman Battle Network series one too, with how many times he's fooled in the series, sometimes into doing an evil act he doesn't intend to do.
To summerize: Giovanni: Lives as a free man and wants to have revenge someday, maybe. Maxie and Archie: Gives up on being villains and become friends while in the manga they, uh, idk... Cyrus: In the games (DP/BDSP), he goes to Battle Tower. In Platinum, he gets stuck in Distorsion World. And in the anime, he creates a new world but gets stuck there forever. In Masters (which might not be canon), he tries to make a never-ending nightmare in the world but gives up on that idea and leaves. N: Goes on a journey to find his meaning in life. Colress: Goes around the world and innovate things while in the Anime he gets in prison. Ghetsis: The BW/B2W2, he becomes crazy and gives up on taking over the world, while other versions of him still tries to do it. In the anime, he gets in prison. Lysander: Probably died. Guzma: Becomes a student while in the Anime he disbands Team Skull after losing the Leauge. Lusamine: In SM, she gets transported to Kanto to Bill to save her life. In USUM, she stay as the president of Aether Paradise and in the Anime she gets her family united again. Rose: Goes to prison but in the Anime, he lives hidden as a free man. Volo: Disappears. Due to strong theories of him being a time traveller, he might have found a way to get to another era and found a way to meet Arceus there. Penny: Disband Team Star and becomes friends with the player. Professor Sada & Turo: Died a long time ago and their dream project got shut down.
We need a fully flushed out version of Sada and Turo because their story feels rushed and it makes me sad because as professors they seem really cool. Not to mention the tiny crush I have on Turo
Lysandre really met his end to an 8 year old commanding one of the most canonically powerful legendary pokemon huh... That's somehow even more disrespectful than you in the games catching the legendary the evil guy wanted and using it against them.
I'd argue that the Pokemon Professor is the main villain of the Scarlet/Violet games since it's their experiments that caused all the problems in Area Zero, problems that could spill out into the rest of Paldea at any time. They're not as outright malicious as the other villains but still as close as you can get.
The armor was used to slow the time experienced by the wearer, allowing Archie to stop his body from decaying. And the person who gave him the armor... That b*tch of a woman never got the comeuppance she deserved.

Ghetsis is out of options. No Reshiram , Zekrom , or no Kyurem. No N to manipulate. No team plasma either. Black 2 and White 2 was the hit to the nail for Ghetsis.

Tbf with Giovanni, I would have self-confidence issues if a bunch of 11yo lab monsters were running around the whole world casually fighting entire organizations and pokegods
As someone who has made it far enough in the manga I can safely say I still don't know what happened to Archie and Maxie. In ORAS they're kind of like evil ghosts who can possess people but if I remember correctly they just kind of disappear at the end.
Thay are just souls yet somehow managed to get out of the distortion world to save the earth from the meteor after their work was done thay are called back to the distortion world.

9:46 And in the same event, he and Malva obliterated two TR recruits who were infiltrators trying to cause internal troubles and feud within the ranks of Team Flare, so... Yeah, dont mess with Lysson in Masters' canon XD
Archie and Maxie are so strange in the manga sometimes. Like it was heavily implied that one murdered the other in order to survive the whole 'controlling a legendary against its will kills the trainer' thing.
@@ceecee6521 By "butchered", I meant they butchered his character. I would like to point out a mistake in the video regarding Guzma’s anime fate. Just gonna say, I love Lysandre a whole lot. I like the idea that he is killed in the collapse of the weapon in Y, but in X, he would theoretically become immortal from the effect of Xerneas' power. He's just stuck under the rubble in my mind, immortal but not bothering anyone. Until TPCi sees fit to release him from his self-made prison in revisiting Kalos.
Where is the worse villain of pokemon? The most evil of them all. The one that has gave million of kids trust issues. The one that has a subreddit dedicated to people posting about how much they hate her? Where is Mindy?
Bonnie being the one to take down Lysandre in the anime, is both hilarious and kind of iconic. 😂😂😂 All Hail Queen Bonnie and her Knight, 100% Zygarde! 😂
Cyrus isn't evil, really. He's just the most apathetic person to ever exist. I also believe he doesn't die in the Distortion world because I don't think anything really exists in there. From the Manga with Maxie and Archie they go there after they die, and with Giratina being the god of Anti-matter (the thing that is everything that isn't a thing) I just think he's just in this limbo place where he gets to know peace.
You should make videos dedicated to the Adventures manga at some point. Also, I think it's heavily implied that Lysandre murders two Team Rocket Grunts with Volcanion in Masters EX.
Lysandre's demise in the game always baffled me when I played it. Mainly because of the reactions of the characters. I think I distinctly remember someone going. "Well that was intense. Welp, I'm gonna go fill up my Pokedex now. What are you gonna do, MC?"
Ghetsis ordering kyurem to impale the player with multiple sharp icicles at the end of bw2 is the most metal thing a villain has done, apart from lysandre activating a miniature version of a halo ring
I dunno, I think Origins Giovanni legit goes through a heel-face turn iirc his dialogue after fighting Red is based on the gen 1 incarnation, and not the revised, more ambiguous response from after he's defeated in FRLG, where he DOES show up in later games with an overall just as antagonistic goal of starting up team rocket again (though it might be just him changing his mind when he hears Team Rocket calling for him during the radio tower takeover) I could be wrong though
The villains of Paldea are all already long gone by the time to story actually begins. One set got fired/resigned after they failed to do what they were supposed to do, and the other set are posthumous. The story of ScVi is more about recognizing and dealing with the aftermath of everything that happened long before you got there.
We didn't see Giovanni after US/UM! He said he would return where is he then! As for Cyrus dude is probably having a Apocalypse Look with clothes tear downed basically living in the Distortion World preparing to go into war with Sinnoh.
Guzma actually never disbanded team skull in the anime. He considered it, but Plumeria and the rest of the gang were all inspired by his last efforts in the tournament so they continue to exist afterwards. If I remember correctly, they even make an appearance in the audience when Ash returns to Alola and fights Gladian, Kiawe and Kukui
My head canon was always that, after his psychological breakdown in B2W2, and subsequent defeat, Ghetis Suffered a stroke and would presumably remain bedridden for the rest of his life. Hense the Shadow Triad's lines regarding his fate.

I think the reason for the discrepancy in Giovanni’s reformation and then sudden relapse to evil is that pokemon origins followed the plot of the original pokemon red and blu where Giovanni has a change of heart while the current mainline continuity uses fire red and leaf green’s where Giovanni declares that team rocket will make a comeback
When will fans realize that games and the spin off series, manga, generations, anime etc are completely independent productions. Volo is hinted at being either a time traveler or immortal, though I think it’s the latter of the two. He and Cogita are both descendants of the ancient Sinnoh people. @@Boredom-ds5yg Yeah but maybe he knows how to achieve that, or maybe he figures he can hang out in the Distortion World for a while to study while time doesn't pass, or maybe he's continuing to be delusional.
Fun fact, in the Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Adventure manga, after getting beaten by Hareta, Cyrus ends up finding his way to Giratina's Dimension, and after seeing Charon use Team Galactic just to get money and riches and after the battle with Giratina, decides to give up Team Galactic and disband it. So in the manga, he not only turns over a new leaf but officially ends Team Galactic.
Cyrus never goes to the Distortion World in DPA. They fight Giratina together but it's in an open field in Sinnoh. In the games a Team Flayer Grunt mentions a fire in the bunker and that people died, many people I’ve talked to assumed Lycanser burned to death in the room with the weapon
Just because Giovanni had a change of heart in Pokémon Origins doesn’t mean he did in the games. They are separate universes (or maybe even entirely separate canons), to my knowledge.
I’m planning on working on what happened to the different villains and teams in my fangame. The regional evil team is led by a former Team Flare admin from Johto who sought revenge against Team Rocket, Colress became the Professor in the region that the Nature Preserve is part of, Ghetsis shows up again to unseal the dark force that drives the madness of Team Plasma, Gladion has taken over as Vice President of the Aether Foundation, aiming to stop Pokemon from facing what he faced (USUM is the canon game in mine), Saturn is the leader of Team Galactic, which is now an actual energy company, and Team Aqua’s Matt is now a gym leader alongside his sister (an original character of mine) and uses a Crawdaunt as his ace
A small thing I want to add for Lusamine. In the Masters game, that seem to follow Ultra Moon, Lusamine is shown to actively trying to rebuild her relationship as a mother to Lillie and Gladion though both an event when they were all first added, and a few others where Lusamine is show being protective of them. Even Guzma acknowledged she is actively trying to be a mother now. ((I have a whole thing of personally trying to piece together which game version is “canon” to Masters. Like Masters implies that it’s timeline is Platinum with Cynthia mentioning that last she saw Cyrus he was in the distortion world, but then Cyrus himself is actively plucked from Pearl right before his victory/defeat due to Hoopa (hence him having Palkia). Or Lysandre talking about having tried to use Yveltal for the weapon, implying the timeline used Y))
Yup. He is. He's seen being drunk at several points. And Team Magma doesn't even have a set base in the manga, so they just gather to talk wherever and whenever Maxie feels like it.
Fun Fact: Lysandre possibly dies in not just Pokémon Y and the anime, but in Pokémon Adventures as well. In comparison, I don't think any other major villain died in the manga. For all the talk about Adventures being dark and edgy, it is light in important deaths.

Insane theory: Chairman Rose commits [redacted]. We last see him standing over a chasm and never see him after we beat him. Sure the cops claim to have arrested him, but that could be them (or PokeCo) saying "Yes we caught the bad man and he totally didn't jump off this very high tower". Every time you meet up with Oleana, she talked about him in the past tense and in the Frozen Tundra, is looking for Rose in a GRAVEYARD!
My thoughts: Giovanni: The most determined and the true OG of all the pokevillains. Arch and Max: Blinded by ideals but Gets slapped by reality and turned a new leaf Cyrus: He gets what he want but a total jerk in the end. Ghestis: A dark idealist manipulator but very lame without his power. Lysandre: Total Elitist who cares only to rule the world, but he gets vaporized by a robo-plasmatic pokemon known as Zygarde. Guzma: Tough gangster but a very pathetic coward when confronted. Rose: Just straight up ambitious but also humble and easy to turn himself in.
And then their goal just kept going because they fucked over the AI so badly, enslaving it to their will despite the AI having free will and independent thought
In my school vr game, Cyrus gets 2 new companions in the destortion world who are the main protagonists of Gundam witch from mercury after Goalius kicked them both into Giratina who teleported both the the destortion world only to find Cyrus dead
How I think each and every team is now: Giovanni: Using the wealth he gained from Team Rocket he constantly travels the world like a vagabond, testing the skills of trainers, and just overall exploring the world. The International Police gave up on trying to hunt him down since he kept moving, being unable to be caught with his team of extremely strong pokemon. He often passes by trainers on routes and teaches them of one thing, "No matter how strong you are, someday...you'll lose" Archie and Maxie: After almost dooming the entire damn world, I think they would have a little trouble in the public spotlight for awhile. The truce the both of them have would occasionally almost break but it would quickly get repaired. Archie and Maxie would likely begin protecting the land and sea from people who dare try to ruin it, using their influence as leaders of Team Magma and Team Aqua. (A little side note for Archie, he would advocate to protect the world's marine life after seeing Galarian Corsola) Cyrus with Two possible outcomes: He dies in the Distortion world after being left there with no food, or he returns to the world with the same damn goals in mind, not even a single change of heart, bro just wants to create a new world. he'd probably get put under arrest at some point and remain there for a long time...
In both version his fate is unknown. We can only speculate about the fact he dies the Hitler way : suicide in his bunker.
@@groudonvert7286
I would assume that being buried in rubble while being hit by an ancient energy weapon powered by Pokemon's equivalent of Hades would be enough to kill someone. Lysander's fate in X is a bit less obvious, but we can extrapolate based on how AZ is immortal due to using the weapon.
@@VestedUTuber I wonder how long it takes to wear off
Acctually that would be weird.

However his plan was from the start sabotaged by chiron his scientist who was never on Cyrus’s side and worked with him only to get in opening into the distortion world to get his hands on giratina.

While Masters' canonicity can be debated, I like Masters bringing back the original Lysandre after he was presumed dead for about seven years, and developing on his friendship with Sycamore. Also, you didn't mention this, but the total unhingedness of him getting to boil two people alive with Volcanion, like I'm still in awe that was greenlit. And then it's heavily implied he was going to do the same to a third. I always made serial killer jokes about him, but it seems they made it official.
the games arent canon since charaters are the same age as their original counterpart

Where is the worse villain of pokemon? The most evil of them all. The one that has gave million of kids trust issues. The one that has a subreddit dedicated to people posting about how much they hate her?
Where is Mindy?
And that's probably why we have a counterpart of her giving us a Haunter *without anything equipped* in SV. lol
Bonnie being the one to take down Lysandre in the anime, is both hilarious and kind of iconic. 😂😂😂 All Hail Queen Bonnie and her Knight, 100% Zygarde! 😂
🤣🤣 Ash win
Cyrus isn't evil, really. He's just the most apathetic person to ever exist.
I also believe he doesn't die in the Distortion world because I don't think anything really exists in there. From the Manga with Maxie and Archie they go there after they die, and with Giratina being the god of Anti-matter (the thing that is everything that isn't a thing) I just think he's just in this limbo place where he gets to know peace.
He is definitely evil
@@nakedmolerat8356No he’s not you Sinnoh fans wish He just sucks & by far the worst “boss” ever.
@@oake5869 ah nah he doesn't die, but he's very much a villain. If he was apathetic he wouldn't be doing any of this
You should make videos dedicated to the Adventures manga at some point.
Also, I think it's heavily implied that Lysandre murders two Team Rocket Grunts with Volcanion in Masters EX.
I'd like to see one on some other mangas as well
@@BJGvideos Adventures is by far the best known and most easily accessible one.
@@wikiuser92 Still. Also I'd wager DPA is as accessible since it's still in bookstores.
Lysandre's demise in the game always baffled me when I played it. Mainly because of the reactions of the characters. I think I distinctly remember someone going. "Well that was intense. Welp, I'm gonna go fill up my Pokedex now. What are you gonna do, MC?"
Gotta love how the manga brings out another side of Pokémon, especially for tie in material
Ghetsis ordering kyurem to impale the player with multiple sharp icicles at the end of bw2 is the most metal thing a villain has done, apart from lysandre activating a miniature version of a halo ring
JPR's reaction to Archie and Maxie's fate in the manga is pretty accurate.
Kinda relate to colress, like just join an evil grouo and use their resources to your own experiments.
Lol Archie and Maxie also find love in each other, literally
I dunno, I think Origins Giovanni legit goes through a heel-face turn
iirc his dialogue after fighting Red is based on the gen 1 incarnation, and not the revised, more ambiguous response from after he's defeated in FRLG, where he DOES show up in later games with an overall just as antagonistic goal of starting up team rocket again (though it might be just him changing his mind when he hears Team Rocket calling for him during the radio tower takeover)
I could be wrong though
@@UltimatePhantasm Yeah but that was retconned later
The villains of Paldea are all already long gone by the time to story actually begins. One set got fired/resigned after they failed to do what they were supposed to do, and the other set are posthumous. The story of ScVi is more about recognizing and dealing with the aftermath of everything that happened long before you got there.
ScVi technically being a postgame is so wild
We don't know why the other professor left. All we get is one line in the journals saying that they left soon after Arven was born.
I remember when in the anime, they killed Lysandre like it wasn’t a kids show 💀
We didn't see Giovanni after US/UM! He said he would return where is he then!
As for Cyrus dude is probably having a Apocalypse Look with clothes tear downed basically living in the Distortion World preparing to go into war with Sinnoh.
We did see giovani in go
I'm talking about the Main Series not spinoff games.
He did already seemingly have severe frostbite or some kind of mauling wounds.
Good to know that others realised that lysander's murder was on bonnie☠️
Although I didn't actually realise that zygarde didn't actually kill Lysander in adventures XY
Bonnie killed Lysander, I always loved the fact that Those two siblings resulted in the end of team flare with bonnie ordering Zyeguarde to execute Lysander and Clemont getting Xerosic arrested.
Why wasn't Alain the dude who Lysandre manipulated the one to kill Lysandre? It makes more sense than a toddler. Honestly the XY writers are the most stupid people who worked on pokemon.
@@sombramemer1230 Bonnie is six. The writers completely gave up Kalos league onwards on the series
@@sombramemer1230 they aren't stupid,you just don't understand what's actually going on in the series☠️
Alain's arc was to save chespy, the final blow was always supposed to be zygarde's
@@ImyIsStillHere They gave up a lot sooner than that.
Sure they ran by pokemon company but they're made by different people who had their own interpretation of the characters and stories and not game freak, who are actually only responsible for the games
Still can’t believe so many people believed the giovanni suicide theory thinking the radio static was actually him jumping down to the water
Volo is hinted at being either a time traveler or immortal, though I think it’s the latter of the two. He and Cogita are both descendants of the ancient Sinnoh people. The poems you find around the region are actually written by Cogita a LONG time ago. So I think Volo and Cogita are older than we think.
Some people also think cogita is just straight up Cynthia, which would be cool I think
Cogita is implied to be immortal but not Volo
@@BJGvideos Volo did say he would conquer Arceus “No matter how many years, how many decades, how many centuries it takes me!” So he might be immortal, or maybe he won’t live as long as Cogita. 🤔 Regardless, I think it’s safe to say the dude ain’t normal. 😅
@@kraio-sfu That would be cool! It’s not out of the question, and it adds even more to the mystery!
Charon is the one who goes to the Distortion World because he's trying to capture Giratina, but gets his ass kicked. Then he gets drawn back out to Sinnoh, tries to go back to Stark Mountain for Heatan, and gets arrested, with the revelation that Cyrus has disbanded TG in the meantime (likely as a plea bargain to avoid punishment, or it seemed that way).
Archie and maxie legit pulled a *just a prank, bro*
Archie and Maxie if they had just gotten a normal divorce instead of whatever they did in the manga.
In the games a Team Flayer Grunt mentions a fire in the bunker and that people died, many people I’ve talked to assumed Lycanser burned to death in the room with the weapon
You missed the part in masters where it can be implied Lysandre killed two team rocket grunts
Just because Giovanni had a change of heart in Pokémon Origins doesn’t mean he did in the games. They are separate universes (or maybe even entirely separate canons), to my knowledge.
Nothing like "becoming one" with your archnemesis to make you rethink your ways
Neat
I like how in Y Lysander is just dead but in X Lysander is immortal and trapped under the canon
Here's hoping Volo shows up in Masters now that Adaman and Irida made their debut
Evice was arrested. Greevil and his son Eldes fled and promised to change their ways. Ardos left to probably commit more war crimes
Ardos even vows to rebuild Cipher after all that. There's a perfectly good sequel hook there and they just never used it. aaaaauuuuugh
isn’t maxie also an alcoholic in the manga?
Yup. He is. He's seen being drunk at several points. And Team Magma doesn't even have a set base in the manga, so they just gather to talk wherever and whenever Maxie feels like it.
yes
The manga is FULL of wierd stuff eg the TRADEDY of Clemont vrs tree + esspurs
The first time we see him he's drinking from a sake bottle that's half his height
Fun Fact: Lysandre possibly dies in not just Pokémon Y and the anime, but in Pokémon Adventures as well.
In comparison, I don't think any other major villain died in the manga. For all the talk about Adventures being dark and edgy, it is light in important deaths.
He was actualy stated to have survived the whole thing but he got on a Wheelchair
Yeah the amount of Characters that die and stay dead in the Manga is actualy lower than the Anime
@@kirbyfazendoummoonwalk9214 Yeah even that beheaded Arbok people like to bang on about survived. It's a plot point that it can regenerate from just its head.
And the Psyduck that got melted earlier in that same scene was already dead since they were in a graveyard, so it doesn't count.
Giovanni still totally murdered those two Magmar for no reason though
For real?? I always thought he died from his injuries. But hey, he's my favorite Pokemon character, so i'll gladly take crippled over dead 🤣
Imagine if Volo appears in Masters with his Sync Pair being Arceus. Would be wild af.
I would say "the entire point of his story is that he's not worthy of Arceus" but well...Zinnia with Rayquaza and Eusine with Suicune apparently don't care
@@BJGvideosYeah it’d make more sense for him to use his togekiss
@@zizochemlali4639 I feel like merchant Volo would get Togekiss and acolyte Volo would get Giratina.
@@BJGvideos To be fair, Zinnia at least is a dedicated and powerful Draconid, who is a decent second choice for Rayquaza to partner with. Suicune probably just partnered up with Eusine for a month or two so that he’d finally give up afterwards.
honestly, passio's ghetsis should have known better than to wipe out John Wick's dog.
now look what did you make Paulo do.
I was under the impression that in the games, Lysandre was either killed by Yveltal in Y or granted immortality by Xerneas in X but was trapped in his underground lair forever
Volo is now in masters and is still into his shenanigans, manipulating people left and right.
I always assumed Giovanni ran out of funds for Team Rocket and decided to give up
I love cyrus
Cyrus music is best
I bloody love the insanity that is the Adventures manga
Insane theory: Chairman Rose commits [redacted]. We last see him standing over a chasm and never see him after we beat him. Sure the cops claim to have arrested him, but that could be them (or PokeCo) saying "Yes we caught the bad man and he totally didn't jump off this very high tower". Every time you meet up with Oleana, she talked about him in the past tense and in the Frozen Tundra, is looking for Rose in a GRAVEYARD!
I assume, even though we don't actually get to see it, Volo gets his life together after the events of legends, because Cynthia is his descendant.
Always had a headcanon that Archie and Maxie were holding hands and walking away off to the sunset together
I love that the official Pokémon Twitter essentially confirmed Hardenshipping a few years ago by showing their TCG cards in a heart shaped frame.
So in the manga maxie and archie die, go to hell, fuse their souls. Then crawl out of hell to be reborn into their old bodies, what the hell
My thoughts:
Giovanni: The most determined and the true OG of all the pokevillains.
Arch and Max: Blinded by ideals but Gets slapped by reality and turned a new leaf
Cyrus: He gets what he want but a total jerk in the end.
Cyrus's fate in the anime is literally the "but what if God said" meme
I would argue that Professor Sada/Turo is the antagonist of SV, they just failed before the story started
There is the implication that Lysandre is still alive, just trapped after his failure IIRC.
How I think each and every team is now:
Giovanni: Using the wealth he gained from Team Rocket he constantly travels the world like a vagabond, testing the skills of trainers, and just overall exploring the world. The International Police gave up on trying to hunt him down since he kept moving, being unable to be caught with his team of extremely strong pokemon. He often passes by trainers on routes and teaches them of one thing, "No matter how strong you are, someday...you'll lose"
Archie and Maxie: After almost dooming the entire damn world, I think they would have a little trouble in the public spotlight for awhile. The truce the both of them have would occasionally almost break but it would quickly get repaired. Archie and Maxie would likely begin protecting the land and sea from people who dare try to ruin it, using their influence as leaders of Team Magma and Team Aqua. (A little side note for Archie, he would advocate to protect the world's marine life after seeing Galarian Corsola)
Cyrus with Two possible outcomes: He dies in the Distortion world after being left there with no food, or he returns to the world with the same damn goals in mind, not even a single change of heart, bro just wants to create a new world. he'd probably get put under arrest at some point and remain there for a long time...
Colress: He's often traveling the world of search for new things, I imagine him traveling to Galar and Paldea to research Dynamax and Terastalization. he'd keep in touch with the Ultra Recon squad in searching for new appearances of Ultra beast that can potentially danger the world.
Ghetsis: Im not gonna lie to you, this dude is just gonna get arrested for a very long time
Lysandre: So his outcome is different in the two games, He either dies from the Ultimate Weapon in Y or he becomes Immortal and lives eternally under the rubble of Team Flare's base. Maybe in X he eventually gets found and taken under custody by the International Police. He may one day breakout but who really knows :/
Guzma: Hangs out with everyone once and awhile, he trains with Hala for a year or two and eventually becomes a trial captain for a bug type totem pokemon.
Lusamine: Going by USUMs ending, Im gonna say she'll continue to lead the Aether Foundation in creating a safer Alola, but on the side...she'll dedicate her time to repenting for all the wrongs she did to Gladion and Lillie. Communications between the Ultra recon squad would also continue as they strive to keep the world safe from the Ultra beasts that would threaten it. She would also begin bringing out her foundation's research to the world, introducing Type: Null into the world
Rose: he'd server his prison sentence, he wouldn't ever make a public appearance and instead he may try to reconnect with Peony back in the Crown Tundra while bringing Oleana along too.
Volo: He likely left Hisui and settled down in another region, he may have even started a family with someone he grew to love. His aspirations to meet Arceus and create a new world would likely dwindle as he grows to enjoy the world that already exists.
Sada and Turo: Dead as hell, getting away with bringing thousands of pokemon that can cause serious damage to the environment
Ai Sada and Turo: Wandering their respective times for years.
I want to play a pokemon game in one of the fallen timelines that's run by one of successful villians. Instead of going on the regular pokemon journey, you join a resistance or something. Gym leaders would be the villian's lieutenants and instead of hikers and power plant workers, it would be hired goons, mooks, and crooked officials or something. Maybe wild pokemon could be shadow pokemon or something, i don't know i loved the sense of peril in legends arceus.
Well when you get down to it, Rose basically won so I guess that means you can play that game...
Imagine your a grown adult with an ultimate weapon then died to a child who isn’t even ten😂
