And One of Lysanders Scientists attempted to repeat his original plan but with all the cells and tried to kill Ash, Serena and Bonnie. Lysander is also responsible for convincing his 5 scientists to turn bad.
To be honest, Mewtwo was legitimately the ultimate threat in Ashs early journey. This dude wanted to kill all Humans and even pokemon who partnered with them; even if the pokemon choice to be with them; Mewtwo was like nah son you gotta die.
We can't exactly blame Mewtwo. They were created as an experiment by team rocket, a group of Humans, and their pokemon. So, have some pity at least. Mewtwo did save axew and Pikachu in the genesect movie.
Yeah, Colress in the games is a far more morally-grey-turned-good scientist who only wants to find the true power of Pokemon (which he ultimately succeeds by being defeated by the player in B2W2 and implied to be integral in the research of Megas in XY) and is instrumental in taking down Rainbow Rocket. It's really dissapointing that the anime reduces him to generically evil scientist guy, cause he's easily one of the coolest characters in the series.
Kodai almost killed zorua but he actually managed to pretty much kill Mima ( zoroark) he did so much damage to her that she passed out I'm just happy the movie had a happy ending where Celebi revived Mima but yeah he is One True Villain
Just a correction about Entei in Molly’s section. It isn’t a hypnotised Entei, it’s an Entei created by the Unknown, basically an illusion or fake Entei, that acts as Molly’s father. Molly saw her father like an Entei, cause he would play with her pretending to be one. When the she unknowingly called on the Unknown’s powers, they used her subconscious desires to make a fatherly Entei.
Almost certain Hunter Jay was designed after the main character of Pokemon Colosseum. She had a device on her arm, a very similar face mask, same hair color and almost same hair style, and her main Pokemon was a Salamence (The very first thing you do in XD is fight a Metagross with a Salamence, which is the sequel to coloseeum)
Crazy to see how far the Pokémon series has expanded. I watched the series when I was younger, from the beginning to the Tracey era. I hardly know any of the characters from this list.

I also want to see Weak to Powerful but not if Gary is considered middle of the pack compared to his many/many rivals especially with what we've seen from him in Journeys implying he's better than ever even if his focus is as a researcher.

Faba was the intended villain, opening the wormhole first, but Lusamine took advantage and self-sacrificed herself to Nihilego, becoming Mother Beast Lusamine. She is eventually defeated by Ash and Pikachu's 10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt, but the true heart changer was Lillie saying that she hates Lusamine. Lusamine did change after falling into a coma, but her corruption, if left unchecked, could spell the end of the world as we know it. She would earn the Pride, Greed, Envy, Wrath, and Lust medals if she was on the list.

I think Paul would either be placed at the end of the grey area or the first entree into the bad to evil because despite how Paul is more neutral and not inherently evil, he’s portrayed as a negative, condescending, grouchy and abusive jerk who releases his Pokémon who fail to match his expectations of power.

Gary should be a bit higher than Paul since he cares for Pokémon while Paul should be ranked lower for not caring about his Pokémon and only focusing on his Pokémon’s level of skills and power rather than their feelings.

A few points. Molly was just a heartbroken child indeed. If I ever watch the movie again I would invite my mother over. I'm sure she will cry. Mewtwo was also hurt. He got created by people and they all wanted to use him as a tool. Nobody asked him how he was, how he felt. What he wants to be after giving him a rundown of what's the world. They all saw a tool and not a being, so you can bet he would end up hating humans. Wouldn't you? He wasn't a villain. He was just hurt and used by those he wants to kill, justifiably so I might add. I think Paul would either be placed at the end of the grey area or the first entree into the bad to evil because despite how Paul is more neutral and not inherently evil, he’s portrayed as a negative, condescending, grouchy and abusive jerk who releases his Pokémon who fail to match his expectations of power.
Paul is a bit worse then Gary, and Silver may be a bit of crook, but he isn't evil necessarily.
@@neosolitudexevermore4895 Both Gary and Paul are definitely not evil but they are the more asshole type of rival in the anime. But again we should keep them both in the Grey Area. Gary should be a bit higher than Paul since he cares for Pokémon while Paul should be ranked lower for not caring about his Pokémon and only focusing on his Pokémon’s level of skills and power rather than their feelings.

A few points.
Molly was just a heartbroken child indeed. If I ever watch the movie again I would invite my mother over. I'm sure she will cry.
Mewtwo was also hurt. He got created by people and they all wanted to use him as a tool. Nobody asked him how he was, how he felt. What he wants to be after giving him a rundown of what's the world.
They all saw a tool and not a being, so you can bet he would end up hating humans. Wouldn't you?

I commented for this on 1 up binge and got two videos on two channels.
I was with u on the ranking until the placement on Cyrus I don’t understand why the scientists are higher than the leaders and Hunter Jay should’ve been behind Cyrus considering he told Mars to blow up iron island and was willing to destroy the world and make a new one only for him not caring about anyone and he was psychotic. I would put Cyrus as the 2nd most evil cause at least Lysandre was gonna leave some ppl alive but basically commit genocide but that’s my opinion
