I'm not sure Zwift even knows what they're doing with the racing score. I logged on this morning and after my ride, it decided my racing score is now 820 (probably because I've been doing some long sessions at high wattage?). It''s not relevant to me, as I don't use Zwift for racing, but I don't get the sense that they really have a plan over there with racing score.
Definitely, ZRS v2 is broken. I was dropped to C Cat from 550 to 490. The result? Total dominance in the first race and a podium finish with other B riders.
zwift racing is more broken then ever, way to many pushing 5wkg and higher. then add the recent data mining garmin weights vs zwift weights and weight doping is a major issue
This new racing score is one big BS. I got dropped yesterday in a former C-cat by the blob of 4.0w/kg guys. How is that „fair”? I can barely do 3.3 average, so most of my races are now time trials. B-cat races are now faster than A-cat in many cases.
I've been trying recently the sauce for zwift and it gives a bit of a help in racing scenarios. Not a significant help. But a bit of a help. Give it a try since you enjoy racing.
Honestly the only thing that kinda interest me is the draft gauge but then when I debate about spending money on it I’m like. Just sit behind a rider and guess what… you got draft!
Love your channel especially the video you did on your grave race, very real and honest. But I disagree in that the system is not broken. But have you thought of approaching Zwift as getting better at Zwift but for cycling, Zwifting is not cycling as w/kg is one factor as you know so if you want to just get better at zwifting, you need to now dig deep into ftp training which is what the trainers are for so I am a fan of SST when time crunched so start doing the workouts and stop the racing. And the training need to be longer intervals and after you see numbers go up, race or once you see your ftp go up race. Build a bigger engine. And another thing you’re running on the pedals I would change and look at Crohn’s channel and see he is tucked and even in TT bars. Get into that tuck position, drops, whatever and grab the bars for dear life and lock in the gut, pedal through the heel and use all the posterior chain and see those numbers fly up! Just my 2 cents but I want you to do well, you have that potential.
@@talonlan it will get you to really tighten your core and will usually move you up on the seat placing your knees a bit more over the pedals. Grab those bars as tight as you can and you will see what happens to your power numbers. if you can than put a bit more emphasis on the heel in the stroke you will also engage the rest of the posterior chain. Try it and see what happens just when you tighten core and grab the bars really tight. Keep a cadence as well in the 80 to 85 and use the bigger chain ring. When running on the pedals or stomping you pretty much just use your quads and use high cadence to get you to your desired power output. In the end as well no one rides a race or any almost any group ride with such a upright position. Zwifting is great and fun but is suppose to be training for outdoors as well.

Why do you need to have a tucked position when riding indoors? A TT position is purely for aerodynamics which is redundant when not moving.
