amazing power and race! at least the climbs are short at the power and speed you guys are going! haha. had the same with this course couldnt hold the climb on lap 2 (just at a much slower pace than you guys!)
I ride 20.000km a year since many years and besides a lot of endurance pace I do regular group rides with hard intervals as well as Zwift races in winter, that seem to work
The higher and more prestigious the league you're in, the fewer cheaters there are, because athletes have data records of their indoor and outdoor performances. Additionally, dual recording is required, along with verified measurements of height and weight. This might come across as a harsh comment or piece of advice, but if you want to improve, work hard on your "aerobic threshold." The best riders can ride at 4 W/kg in the zone 2, and their bodies recover during that time. For you, it’s still a significant energy effort. Consider going for performance testing to determine your aerobic threshold. Then, focus on steady rides of 1.5 to 4 hours at a pace about 10-15 watts or 2-5 bpm below your aerobic threshold. This will significantly improve your VO2 max, and riding hill KOMs at a pace under 1 minute 40 seconds won’t be an issue anymore. I’m not the best in the world, but with an aerobic threshold of around 3.9-4.1 W/kg, I can ride a 1.5-hour race with an average power above 5.0 W/kg or sustain 5.4-5.7 W/kg for 20 minutes during a race. Ride On!
Thanks, my current power at Zone 2 HR is around 3,6 W/Kg considering I weigh 75-77KG I am quite happy with that, I can ride at 315-320 watts for over 2h in races before running 21km. I’ve done multiple performance tests (lactate LT 1 around 250watts and LT2 around 320 and VO2 - currently around 70) I know I could improve my short efforts with specific training but as I am still focusing on long distance triathlon and ultra cycling I train a bit differently. But maybe something for next winter 🙌
@@TSbiker10 I said that there are many people better than me, but I finished the Polish e-sports championship in the top 10 and the mountain championship on the podium. E-sport puts a lot of strain on the nervous system and as a typical climber, I have too little power for 15 seconds, 30 seconds or 1 minute.
hard race but dont take it serious until you need to update weights before a race as weight doping, data mining weights on garmin data to zwift showed a huge error/cheating by riders.
In generally I agree, but I do feel that there is much less weight doping in Cat A and high level races as they are more monitored and some require weigh in videos plus people in these races know each other more often and would point out someone who is blatantly cheating
Think yu`re a bit optimistic about a-cheats. 2 of 3 at this podium are cheats. 1 got removed. AR MM is still in at second but known cheat + plenty others.
very impressive ! Bravo !
great video with interesting insights into your training
Thanks happy to hear that
You look like the kid from Toy Story! 😂😂😂 great ride tho !!
Haha, never watched it, now i have to check it out 😅
Really good video

Man, what a effort, awesome stuff. The monday pack is a different beast, nose bleed A+ riders.
Absolutely, this and the Saturday Tinys are both crazy

Still crazy power. How many years cycling, and how many hours per week?
I stated sports 8 years ago (age 32) and currently ride around 10-15h per week
Sehr stark Volker!! Wie bekommt man das Sunweb Trikot in Zwift?😊
Ist das Team Trikot des Dragons Racing Teams
I weigh about the same as you and have

How do you record like this?
OBS Studio
@ but is that only the game or you as well in third person?
@@bjornkullberg that’s me in the white jersey but you can choose different views. I just like the third person view more than first person .
@@volkervoit sry, was unclear. I mean filming you at the same time. Is that also through OBS Studio?
yes we enjoyed it... please continue to suffer 😅

Nice, we’re just missing you in the elite races. How come ?

6w/kg joo… das sagt schon aus wie hart cat A ist 😂.
You are using significantly too much power. Your drafting (or lack of) really hurt you in this race.
Yeah, I know, have to get much smarter in these races
@ I always watch my races back. Watch this one and you’ll notice your w/kg is typically much higher than the riders around you.
@@drewbuffingtonWhy is that I wonder? I find myself doing the same thing in my races. Probably a fitness thing
