Welcome to China. It was quite an adventure. I can't imagine not having the Internet in my own country.I hope you can solve these problems soon. Have fun.
Welcome to China, but it is still recommended to prepare a strategy first and download the necessary applications. This will make your trip easier and enjoy all the conveniences in China.
@@OTWD_yt You indeed need a Chinese SIM card to register for Chinese apps, but it won't allow you to access many apps you commonly use, such as Instagram and UA-cam. However, since you've already uploaded videos to UA-cam, it seems that bypassing the firewall is no longer an issue. In fact, activating international roaming on your original SIM card is also an option. This way, you can register for Chinese apps like Alipay and WeChat while still being able to access various Google applications without needing a VPN.
@@OTWD_yt Additionally, Beijing has many places worth visiting and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country. Unfortunately, when it comes to culinary exploration, Beijing is not the best choice. As a Chinese , I would describe Beijing as a 'culinary desert.
You guys should look into an e-sim. You don't have to get the physical sim card in the country you're arriving in. Especially if you're arriving late. Just get a one day pass if the local sim card is cheap. Some e-sims have great value 1 week passes

Oh my god, luckily the hotel was not far away, and we got there in just one and a half hours. Beijing is very big. Next time if you encounter such a situation, I suggest you ask the police or people nearby to help you. Most of them will be happy to give you some help within their ability.
Glad you had an amazing time! It’s a wonderful place, don’t believe the bad press etc etc, it’s a good place and big adventures to be had. I was sceptical about travelling to there a few years ago but addicted to there now, have been 3 times and looking forward to my fourth visit in September 👍🍻
Walking in a strange city in the middle of the night for 1.5 hrs to find your hotel? You guys ARE adventurous!👍I thought Ben was the tougher one, though...🤪Intra-city public transport in China is heavily subsidised by local governments, so you will find it very affordable everywhere, particularly by the UK standard. Last, even though China is mostly cashless nowadays, you can still pay for your taxi rides with cash. Can't wait to catch up with your explorations!❤
@@OTWD_yt china's traditional culture is different from other places, so at any time if you are in trouble, don't face it alone, boldly ask for help from people around you, especially from young people and police officers. if you are lucky, there will even be someone who happens to be available and willing to act as a tour guide for free and spend a nice day with you. you may not understand chinese, but trust me: the more you trying to talk with the people around you, the more wonderful experiences you will have.

Welcome to China. It was quite an adventure. I can't imagine not having the Internet in my own country.I hope you can solve these problems soon. Have fun.
We will solve it 😊 new video coming tomorrow
Walking for an hour and a half to get to the hotel? Guys, next time just stop a cab and get in. They are quite affordable.
They arrived at 1AM, so they can't buy a sim card for alipay (at airport).
It was difficult with out a sim card or Ali pay. I’m so glad we actually felt so safe and it’s a testament to China as a country! Good start ❤️
@@OTWD_yt Yes China is indeed one of the safest country I think. My friends who already visited there said they were surprised at how safe it felt.
@@OTWD_yt Cabs must take cash payment. Just FYI :D
@SLAVAUKRAINI-cb5vt My dog is more talented in music than that bloke and all my dog can do is making hawling noices.
The Forbidden City must reserve tickets in advance. Just a tip! Hope you guys have good time in Beijing!❤
Thank you 🙏 ❤️
welcome❤欢迎呀
❤️❤️❤️
Welcome to China, but it is still recommended to prepare a strategy first and download the necessary applications. This will make your trip easier and enjoy all the conveniences in China.
Have them all just no SIM card 😂
Would be nice to get a sponsorship 😂
Welcome to The Middle Kingdom. We hope you have a great time.
Thank you! Will do! ❤️
@SLAVAUKRAINI-cb5vt What are you afraid of? Are you afraid that they will see the real China? People like you are really pitiful, taking dirty money to spit shit on the Internet!
You should get a taxi which is not expensive. You could pay cash if Alipay doesn’t work. No shared bikes along the way to your hotel?
Yes we’re not normal 😂 you’ll see
欢迎❤
@SLAVAUKRAINI-cb5vt没人说他们是对的啊,中国那么多人恐怕批评那几个人的人数比英国人口数量都多吧。不要以偏概全
Thank you 😊

Very interesting and informative video for other travellers, highlighting, if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Getting internet organised before arrival and a small amount of cash would have made a stressful arrival into a hassel free experience Arriving in a new destination at midnight didn't help. I'm sure the rest of your trip will be eye opening and enjoyable. Thank you both.
Haha we adapt and manage this is just the first day new video tomorrow 👍
Hope you both are not tight everywhere. Enjoying your blogs from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia and now China. Carry on blogging. Hope you do not joke seriously. 😂
Thank you man ❤️
Welcome to China ! Greeting from Hong Kong.

Felt like crying lol but so glad we made it.
@@OTWD_yt你们很厉害,我现在发觉年纪大了,体力吃不消了,你们很棒!

Really appreciate that man ❤️
有朋自远方来, 不亦悦乎。 Hope you have a nice trip.
🙏❤️❤️
enjoy your stay there, especially food.
Lots of food to come 😋
祝你们旅途愉快~

Oh my god, luckily the hotel was not far away, and we got there in just one and a half hours. Beijing is very big. Next time if you encounter such a situation, I suggest you ask the police or people nearby to help you. Most of them will be happy to give you some help within their ability.
Thank you 😊
欢迎来到中国!在中国游玩的正确方式为 从南走到北,从东走到西,每个地区都有自己独特的美食、风景和文化,祝你们玩的开心
We will be here a lot over the next few years ❤️
还要从白走到黑
Hope to see you eating won ton noodles soup or sesame oil fried noodles . They are so yummy .
Challenge accepted ❤️
In fact, registering a payment tool is very simple. Just find a SIM card and bind your bank card to purchase everything.
We are anxiously waiting for your new video😮
❤️❤️❤️❤️
天啊,步行了一个多小时才到酒店,普通的出租车也没有吗?可以想象,在异国他乡,人生地不熟,又没有网络,真的是一个挑战,希望你们在中国玩的愉快!
It was earlier hours we didn’t actually realise how far the bus would drop us from the hotel 😂 but it was ok in the end ! ❤️🇨🇳
Happy Trip!! Welcome to the country!
Thanks! 😃❤️
😀😀😀

Enjoy your journey in China ❤
Thank you 😊
China also accepts cash now. Besides, why don’t you take a taxi when you walk to the hotel for an hour and a half?
Oh I don’t know we do some crazy stuff! 😂 you’ll kind out soon enough
It really is!
wish you enjoy your journey in china
Welcome to China. Hope you guys have a wonderful trip!!
Thank you! Will do! ❤️
That’s where we get are nickname the night walking couple from the Chinese people 😂
Your media has frightened u. So nervous. Relax n enjoy yourself.
Thank you 🙏
Wonderful experience
❤️❤️❤️
welcome! wish you have a good time in china.
Thank you 🙏
@@OTWD_yt china's traditional culture is different from other places, so at any time if you are in trouble, don't face it alone, boldly ask for help from people around you, especially from young people and police officers.
if you are lucky, there will even be someone who happens to be available and willing to act as a tour guide for free and spend a nice day with you.
you may not understand chinese, but trust me: the more you trying to talk with the people around you, the more wonderful experiences you will have.
