I purchased a Himalayan 450 just 4 days ago and happened to fit an aftermarket crash guard (Moto Care) from JC road. I’m concerned about the chassis break issues which were in a way linked to wrongly installed/designed crash guard.
Should I replace it with a OEM guard or get this one inspected?
Please guide me on the best way to deal with this situation
RE recommends OE guard. Please visit your dealership for suggestions.

From the information available, incorrect installation of guards have caused this failure.

I also need a crash guard (leg guard), but I can't install it with my OEM Rally Protection. I need to remove the Rally Protection. Can you suggest a crash guard that can be installed with Rally Protection?
There is none that I know of that can be combined.
I have got ps custom crash guard on my 450 and those are really good with aesthetics of bike

I completely agree with your view about OEM accessories Sir. Even today I read about engine dismount on Himalayan 450 in a rushlane article because of aftermarket crash guard! Scary stuff

if at all anything, these extensions to the frame, will act as a damping agent. and should reduce the vibrations and buzz.
It’s rainy season, rear mudguard is pretty decent but mud spills over the suspension and front mudguards neatly spill the mud over the beak, windshield, number plate. Do you have any suggestions or modifications?

I installed MotoTorque crash guard on my scrambler 400x, The problem with the after market companies they will never use the material the way OEM Uses, which results into too much heavy crash guard which adds to your motorcycle's weight, which impacts your handling, the thing which i noticed is my front suspension also reduced by few mm. And i think this will be the same with the Auto Engina crash guard as well. Because they(After Market companies) can't make something strong enough and light weight because it will cost them much higher which OEM can do easily as they will have mass production + they were already using such material in their other parts of the bike.
