No, that's not right. Tubeless rims are not made for tubes, they're not made smooth for tubes, and the valve hole will be too big. It will not be safe and will not hold up.
@@chadkline4268 The tyres themselves are an issue as well as they are not smooth. The tube can start to rub and pop. All around bad idea, unless you're really stuck. I'd bring a tube on a long trip in a remote area. Chuck some talcum powder in there and it will rub less. Get some bigger washers and a nut to hold the valve. Maybe some tape to cover the rim, or smooth that out before. It's a one time job.
The argument over tubes is interesting to me as a mounting biker. If someone is running tubeless and cannot plug it or have rim damage, what is preventing you from putting a spare tube in? Also, do you run latex sealant in these tubeless tires?
I think that shift distance is there so you can fit a big dirt boot in there. I noticed the same with my Tenere when wearing shoes but not a problem at all with dirt boots.
Got to say I’m loving mine, great on the road, on sand, on gravel, snotty single track, no problem! Some minor niggles but overall great bike at a great price!
The press bike we received didn’t have the rubber inserts, I assume the previous reviewer removed them, but yet, easy enough to adjust the angle of the lever.
So I test rode the 450 in the black and put my order in, but I wanted tubeless tyres because they are probably easier to fix, if you are concerned about rupturing a tyre, you could always carry some tubes. I was disappointed to find that they are not providing the black tubeless version with the gold wheels yet, so I changed my order to the white one. It should be arriving within the next week so looking forward to getting out on it. Main issue is the lean on the side stand but I am sure some adaption can be made to overcome that. This will be a 2nd bike, I already have a speedmaster chrome, just need to decide when to tell the missus 😬
Probably easier to apologise than asked permission. The Black version does look the goods, but good choice on the white tubeless option. Enjoy, I had such a blast riding it.
I got the black tubeless but I'm switch the gold to a cherry black color shift. I really wished either of the slates wouldnhave came in the tubeless because they look amazing in person. Pictures don't do them any justice
ok tried today the Hima while the shotgun the hunter and the interc a while ago. best of them all imo is the interc. the hima does better offroad than on road!!! i tried on a rocky countryside road after going on flat towny road and i immediately felt more grip on the rocky one! it's so strange! i even aimed at the holes on the ground cause i thought i didn't crossed one since i felt nothing while riding for a while. color me surspised simply put the hima doens' let you feel nothing! still the interc is a beeter pure motorcycle for normal use.
Yes, the Interceptor is still a great bike, but my personal preference would be the Continental GT over the Interceptor, love the look and the handling
Hi from india... loved the way the review was split into parts so we could understand better.. A common issue with all the 450's is that the bike sways to the right when you take off your hands from the handle bar. Royal Enfield is replacing the stem nut under warranty for the same reason.
Olá do Brasil!!
I got the himalayan 450 an love it. I ordered the panniers and engine guard from ebay because it was cheaper then buying the bundles from the dealership which included a bunchbof parts I didn't want. Also ordered a set of tusk brush guards because their what I've always used on my dirt bikes. They fit the himalayan just fine. As for the glare on the gage you can change the mode to auto and in the daylight it will turn white with black numbers so there won't be any glare then at night it turns to the black with white numbers as to not be so distracting . I'm not a fan of the seat. I think it needs more padding otherwise after a few hours you'll be sore. And the windscreen is rubbish. Anything over 50mph and you get hammered by wind. Spring for the adventure windscreen it gives you a few more inches of windscreen which is enough to divert that wind over your head versus the stock which is right to your face. The mirrors are pretty bad but big you get the adventure mirrors there's a vast improvement in the adjustment you can make to them to allow you to properly see behind you
I took delivery of my 450 on the 1 June and I had to move the gear lever because even with my size 11 feet I struggled to go from 1st to 2nd, also around town in stop start traffic at low speeds the bike is very gear change needy but if you use the Eco mod it becomes very user friendly. The only problem with that is to go back to Performance mode you have to switch off the ignition....... Apart from that and the screen which I will change when the high version becomes available in the UK I love it.
Yeah, I forgot to mention that it was easier to ride in ECO mode in traffic, but to be fair, I didn’t really ride it in traffic, mostly back roads and dirt roads.
Were you able to adjust the gear lever to your liking in the end? I have a Scram 411 and had hard time shifting with my bulky work boots....but luckily the adjustment was as easy as losening up 2 lock nuts and now it is perfect.
Informative report guys! This machine is in the mix with the MT 450 CF moto, ill just wait a bit and see what issues arise over the next year, since both untried in the real world yet! Cheers! 🙂👍
I wear size 11 bike boots, and I have no problem with the shifter. Seems it was designed for heavy duty footwear, and yes, it can be adjusted .for the display problem in sunlight I use a smoked lens filter( used for cameras, pops on and off)😊
Or use the auto mode that's already built into the gage. It switches the gage from black with white numbers to white with black numbers in the day time taking care of any glare you may be having
This is a great bike for adventure (on and off road) riders, for everyone else the Guerrilla is perfect. The thing about Brit designed/Indian built bikes, they have simplicity, soul and a soundtrack...what else do you want? I have had my Meteor 350, lacking only a bit of power, this will be my new bike, the Guerrilla that is. Forget horsepower, low rpm torque is the key for fun.
Sorry, the 450 doesn't have double the torque of the 411, it has 40Nm up from the 411's 32Nm. Definitely more but not 2x. Alao I don't get the complaint about mirrors, I'm 6'2 so I assume I'm bigger than Tegan and I've never had a bike where i couldn't see behind myself.
I just wish it had 50+hp. Just that littttle bit more. I hope to pick one up early 2025. Can someone explain to me the main reasons behind tubed and tubeless. Why would I want to choose the tubeless version? I have my ideas and know a little but would love more input on this topic.
Looking forward to seeing other versions of the 450 - presumably a scrambler with 19", street bike with 17" and a mini cruiser. A scrambler version with cast wheels/tubeless tyres would be my choice....might just persuade me to part with my 411 Scram.
I had the same experience. I tried a bone stock bike and a bike with the shifter adjusted by a previous rider who rode it in enduro boots. No problem with the stock setting, the adjusted lever was not giving me feedback at all.
I went to have a look at my local dealer, I liked it to be honest. Nice simple machine. Dealer offered me a test ride and asked what I ride. I said 2002 R1150GS He just laughed and said keep what you’ve got.
You definitely should. Their great inexpensive bikes. I bought mine for winter riding since it snows where I live during the winter and I can't ride my r1 in that lol
Most ageist video from Biker Torque to date. Old mate “didnt see the shift light”; “I’m not a die hard ADV rider, I haven’t reached my 60th birthday yet”. Righto. Apart from that balanced review.
Better in most ways than the 411, but... I don't like it. The 411 dash cluster is far better than the new TFT screen, but the engine and suspension upgrades can't be ignored. It just looks so generic though. The 411 is like the Bullet - it has soul, and puts a smile on your face (as long as you're not trying to overtake uphill). As far as the tyres go, I'll always take tubeless - can drop the pressure further without risking pinch flats, and if you do puncture a sidewall? Throw a tube in.
I thought it was very good after test riding it. In my opinion, the gear box was very good and had no issues changing gears. That said, I thought the CFMoto450 felt more spirited and looks more like an adventure bike.
I am happy to see smaller capacity dual use bikes coming out. Now If we could see the Japanese bring out a 400 - 500cc dual sport/trail bikes with larger oil capacity for longer oil changes and 140kgs max weight. I would go back to a DRZ400 if it had a wider ratio, 6 speed gear box! Instead I bought a Cfmoto 450MT before I even knew about the RE 450 Himalayan. Though in looking at the two bikes, I picked the one best suited for what I want to do with it The review you guys did I really like and the thoughts of 3 riders give a better idea of what the bike is like. One thing I have seen that I don't loke about the Himalayan is the air filter change. Fuel tank off, disconnect 2 or 3 hoses just to get at it. Bad idea to me, no matter how good the bike is.
Thanks, we are hoping to bring some more reviews with the three of us, time permitting. Haven’t ridden the CFMoto but it seems to be getting good reviews. Also, I didn’t realise that about the air filter change. It does seem like a bit of a mucking about… but for the cost I think there has to be some compromises
Can’t go wrong with a black colour scheme with gold rims. Probably should have only 3 ride modes. Road, rain and dirt. If I was looking for an adventure bike today, this probably would have been high on the list.
It’s a great looking bike I look forward to seeing one in the flesh. I had issues with the highway speed of the old one and I felt like a greyhound on a golf ball. So I’m very interested in checking out the new one. Funny the differences in all your opinion of this bike. Great review team 😎🤙🏻
Cheers Big Bert. I suppose we all ride differently and look for different things in bikes. I reckon you’d be OK on it, Lukas is about the same height as you.
Get the adventure windscreen at least. You get hammered by wind at 50mph and above with the stock windscreen. I had mine over 80mph on the highway and it had more but with that wind I didn't wanna push it anymore
What an amazing team. You guys ROCK with the presentation. Really enjoyable to watch as you laugh, smile, and play off each other throughout. Well done! And I'm actually considering getting this bike after seeing the review.
I love Royal Enfield, own a beefed-up Classic 350, so great, but yeah their stock mirrors are....uh, not good. Plenty of options to swap 'em out but it's a weird signature characteristic of the brand. 😂 In any case, I really loved my test ride on this new Himalayan!
Re Himalayan 450, Its top heavy, especially off the side stand. CF Motto 450 MT has a light feel to it and a lighter clutch pull. I have not test ridden either bike but sat on them and played with the weight from the side stand. They both appear to be well made but I was put off by the Himalayan 450's heavier feel and cluthch pull. Between the two of them, I would pick the CF Motto 450 MT. It may not have as much fuel range and possibly shorter service intervals but the bike feels better to me.
I think you should test ride both. The Himi definitely isn’t heavy, and we certainly didn’t find it too heavy, but can’t compare to the CFMoto as we haven’t ridden one yet
@BikerTorque Thanks for the advice. I agree that the best thing would be to take one for a ride. Nathan, the postman (UK channel), did a review of both of them as he owns them. He has some interesting thoughts on both bikes. Essentially, his opinion on the Himalayan is along the lines of what I mentioned. His thoughts on the CF Moto 450 mt is that it's a unicorn (big call). He runs bike tours so he has a variety of bikes old Himalayan, Triumph 400x, etc. I am not an affliliate just an Australian bloke who is looking for his next bike after 7 years ( the last bike was a vstrom 650. @BikerTorque Hi again, I did end up going on a test ride of the Himalayan 450. It's a good bike, but I ended up getting the CFMoto 450MT. Personally, I found the 450MT a better all round package, engine, build quality and ride. But thats how I found it others may have a different opinion. Cheers, Todd

They need a lowering kit for the shorter riders ,they did it with the 411 ,Honda did it with the 300 brought out the LS ,not every one bothers ground clearance the just want to touch the ground ,their sales would rise especially in Asia
I rode the bike on the street. You feel like you’re sitting on top of the bike, for a refined 450 water cooled engine you would think the engine would feel smoother but it felt clanky. You have to really give it gas to accelerate from a stop Comfortable bike though feels a little heavier than I thought it would
Water cooled but still a single, hence the thumpier feeling from the engine. Agree, you do feel like you are sitting nice and high. I didn’t really notice the weight, but then again I had just jumped off a Ducati Desert X, now that is top heavy.
I’m SOOO glad you’ve said what you said about getting into second. The number of times I’ve ‘neutraled’ mine is frustrating. I’ll get used to it, so not really a complaint, but I thought it was just me!
Definitely not just you, all three of us had the same issue, but Tegan & Lukas seemed to have the main issue with it. I probably rode it a bit more than the other two and definitely got used to it
Just switch to Motul 7100 oil, 10W-40 full ester synthetic. You have to use Motul 7100 oil if you ever want your motorcycle to shift properly. On motorcycles, it's the type of oil, the brand, the viscosity, and the characteristics of the oil that determine how good it shifts. That's because they have a wet clutch, and the transmission uses the same oil as the engine. Changing brands of oil is like changing the whole transmission. Some oils don't work. Amsoil Metric 10W-40 works well. But Motul 7100 is even better at high temperatures, with no change at high temperatures. You'll notice an increase in top end horsepower with Motul 7100 too.
Split tube steel frame is easy to fix. It’s a global market, but the bike is still made for India. The 411 handles really well considering the huge front hoop. So I’d imagine the upgraded bike with significantly better suspension will be better. Hmmm. Should I sell the Tiger???? 😂😂😂😂😂
To me the Himalayan 450 looks butt ugly & lacks the charm of the original model. I'm not a fan of ADV bike styling at all, but at least the Himalayan 411 had nice clean lines to go with the vintage look. The Himalayan 450 looks like it's just been cobbled together with parts from other bikes in comparison. The engine, on the other hand, looks like a ripper & is the most important engine RE has made in their history IMO. Let's hope reliability isn't an issue & they do a much better job on the scrambler styling than they did on the Himalayan 450.
Totally agree with you on the engine, but sorry can’t agree on the styling. To me the design and styling looks purposeful, I’m also not generally a fan of ADV bike styling, but this one, not ashamed to say I really do like.
Tubed tyres isn’t an issue if you have a centre stand - makes it easier. Also - you screw your rim or dent your rim on an outback tour, which this bike is capable of, you’re f$%ked if you have tubeless, unless you carry a spare tube, which um, you may as well saved some coin and got the tubed version in the first place.
But the beauty of tubeless is that you can deflate the tire several lbs to get more traction in snow or mud without any issue. If you deflate a tube it can potentially loosen the tire from the rim it can roll up in the rim or out of the rim the valve stem can be drawn into the rim. There's pluses and minuses to each

If you really need to cruise all day at 130 kph this is not the bike for you. It will do that speed but I can’t think of any worse riding than all day at 130 on a freeway.
@@BikerTorque True, at least on a bike of this size. I should have worded that better. It's not uncommon to travel on Freeways here in the USA for a couple of hours between trails, backroads, and dirt roads. I was merely curious if this bike is capable without hurting the engine. Off road bikes in general are not built for comfort on the road (obviously). I still haven't heard when this model will be available in the USA if ever. I think a lot of people would be drawn to it for various reasons. It does look more dirt/trail friendly than the 411 model.

I don't think the chasis break is a issue, because a lot of users are pushing these bikes here in India and they are fine. Could be something wrong with a particular model, if it did happen. It's not a problem as of now.
The riders had installed aftermarket crash guards and had not put a couple of bolts back in or were not torqued well. Many have thrashed these in enduro sections and have not had issues.
Ima retired USA welder. You have to have real welders, not just some jackoff. A good weld is stronger than the surrounding tube. They must have some jacoff doing it.
She didn’t tell us why she doesn’t like the 450. My main complaint is getting to the air filter. Having to remove the fuel tank in a modern bike simply to get to the air filter is crazy if you’re going to ride it off road.
There were complaints on the old 411 concerning the air filter location; down low under the seat. It was susceptible to sucking in water on a water crossing. That's why it wad moved.
It had to be done for the sake of keeping the bike narrow, as one of the complaints with the old style Himalayan was, that standing up was not comfortable because of the bulky outward covers.
it's not 'himarlian' it's 'him - a -lay - an'. Don't speak english incorrectly just because other people do. and no, this video is not in indian, it's in english.

I did try to say "Did you realise that if you set the TFT display to digital instead of analogue, you can see a full live map display of the tripper Sat nav in the top half if the screen, as well as the turn by turn instruction icons? If you set to digital, you only get the turn by turn icons. I find tripper to be lagging a bit at multi junction turns. Sent me the wrong way down a motorway, against my suspicion of the correct direction. Wasted forty minutes getting back to the start point .
The only negative I can see with this bike is the lack of a traditional brake light, that is separate from the signal lights. This could be a safety issue, since most drivers are expecting to see the brake lights in the middle and that is where they will be looking...they may not realize, that this is how the bike is set up and ignore the signal lights lighting up when the brake is applied, thinking that the signal lights are maybe malfunctuoning or something... This setup might be too advanced and therefore confusing for the average idiot driver, especially here in North America. Last thing a biker needs is the minivan behind him being confused about when hitting the brakes, as they are already too busy texting or applying make-up, which further degrades their attention span.

This will be a 2nd bike, I already have a speedmaster chrome, just need to decide when to tell the missus 😬
Probably easier to apologise than asked permission. The Black version does look the goods, but good choice on the white tubeless option. Enjoy, I had such a blast riding it.
same here. 2nd all year bike. my harley for the pub-rides
I got the black tubeless but I'm switch the gold to a cherry black color shift. I really wished either of the slates wouldnhave came in the tubeless because they look amazing in person. Pictures don't do them any justice
Great review as always guys. Love Tegan's honesty.
Thanks Jimi. It’s a wonderful bike, at least 2 of us loved riding it.
I agree with Teagan. That shift lever and the TFT need some work.
ok tried today the Hima while the shotgun the hunter and the interc a while ago. best of them all imo is the interc. the hima does better offroad than on road!!! i tried on a rocky countryside road after going on flat towny road and i immediately felt more grip on the rocky one! it's so strange! i even aimed at the holes on the ground cause i thought i didn't crossed one since i felt nothing while riding for a while. color me surspised simply put the hima doens' let you feel nothing! still the interc is a beeter pure motorcycle for normal use.
Glad it helped. Didn’t have an issue with it pulling to the right
@BikerTorque - OK. In india, the stem botls are getting replaced under warranty for the same reason. Kind of a silent recall.
Olá do Brasil!!
Ola. Definitely an upgrade in suspension, electronics and performance. The Versys is still a good bike though
The mirrors are pretty bad but big you get the adventure mirrors there's a vast improvement in the adjustment you can make to them to allow you to properly see behind you
Sounds like some great mods there
I took delivery of my 450 on the 1 June and I had to move the gear lever because even with my size 11 feet I struggled to go from 1st to 2nd, also around town in stop start traffic at low speeds the bike is very gear change needy but if you use the Eco mod it becomes very user friendly.
Did you discover the full map on the digital option for the gift screen when using the tripper nav system?
No, couldn’t get it working, I think the press bike we had needed a software update
You guys didn’t face any vibration related issues? Or is it bearable?
Didn’t have any issues with vibrations at all
Informative report guys! This machine is in the mix with the MT 450 CF moto, ill just wait a bit and see what issues arise over the next year, since both untried in the real world yet!
Cheers! 🙂👍
We need to try and speak to CF Moto here in Australia to see if we can get some bikes, hearing good things.
@@BikerTorque CF stands for communist filth 😏.
I wouldn’t buy a Chinese bike based on there poor quality of parts and there attitude towards the rest of the world!!
I wear size 11 bike boots, and I have no problem with the shifter. Seems it was designed for heavy duty footwear, and yes, it can be adjusted .for the display problem in sunlight I use a smoked lens filter( used for cameras, pops on and off)😊
Yes, I might have to ride it with my chunkier touring boots, I reckon that would solve the issue.
Or use the auto mode that's already built into the gage. It switches the gage from black with white numbers to white with black numbers in the day time taking care of any glare you may be having
@@chrisroos6534I do, with the smoked filter.at 3 pm the sun is blinding 😎
This is a great bike for adventure (on and off road) riders, for everyone else the Guerrilla is perfect. The thing about Brit designed/Indian built bikes, they have simplicity, soul and a soundtrack...what else do you want? I have had my Meteor 350, lacking only a bit of power, this will be my new bike, the Guerrilla that is. Forget horsepower, low rpm torque is the key for fun.
Simplicity, soul and soundtrack. The three essential S’s. I might steal that for a video title. Thanks for watching
@@BikerTorque Just put the cheque in the post!!!
True, my bad. I think our issue with RE mirrors is they keep coming loose because we all set them differently
Lock tight will fix that issue im sure
I just wish it had 50+hp. Just that littttle bit more.
I hope to pick one up early 2025.
Can someone explain to me the main reasons behind tubed and tubeless.
Why would I want to choose the tubeless version? I have my ideas and know a little but would love more input on this topic.
I think if you are mostly riding on road then Tubeless is the way to go, pretty straightforward to repair if you get a puncture.
Looking forward to seeing other versions of the 450 - presumably a scrambler with 19", street bike with 17" and a mini cruiser. A scrambler version with cast wheels/tubeless tyres would be my choice....might just persuade me to part with my 411 Scram.
Not sure about a cruiser, but can definitely see a Street bike and a Scrambler, cracking engine.
Great overview. Not double the torque btw - old Himi has 32 nm.
Yes, I think we got a bit excited. It does feel like double the torque though
Think you guys got a bike that someone had moved the gear lever. I test rode it and had no problem with the gear lever
You could be right, as we said though, easy to pop off and adjust
I had the same experience. I tried a bone stock bike and a bike with the shifter adjusted by a previous rider who rode it in enduro boots. No problem with the stock setting, the adjusted lever was not giving me feedback at all.
Can you guys review CFMoto 450MT? I was gonna get this new RE but will probably get the CFMoto instead.
Shall see if we can chat with CF Moto
Great observation on the shift problem.
thanks for watching.
I went to have a look at my local dealer, I liked it to be honest.
Nice simple machine.
Dealer offered me a test ride and asked what I ride.
I said 2002 R1150GS
He just laughed and said keep what you’ve got.
lol, but did you test ride it?
@@BikerTorque I will but I haven’t yet
You definitely should. Their great inexpensive bikes. I bought mine for winter riding since it snows where I live during the winter and I can't ride my r1 in that lol
Most ageist video from Biker Torque to date. Old mate “didnt see the shift light”; “I’m not a die hard ADV rider, I haven’t reached my 60th birthday yet”. Righto. Apart from that balanced review.
lol, hopefully you still enjoyed it
Better in most ways than the 411, but...
Yes, a few have mentioned hysteria throwing a tube in, good point. But styling wise and engine, it’s definitely still got plenty of RE character
I thought it was very good after test riding it. In my opinion, the gear box was very good and had no issues changing gears. That said, I thought the CFMoto450 felt more spirited and looks more like an adventure bike.
Haven’t ridden the CFMoto yet but will have to soon as everyone seems to be raving about it. Thanks for watching
Righto...
No Indicating
No Mirrors!
Ross said so 😅😂❤
Great trio review guys! 👌
lol, exactly.
Though in looking at the two bikes, I picked the one best suited for what I want to do with it
The review you guys did I really like and the thoughts of 3 riders give a better idea of what the bike is like.
Cb500x over this any day
@@Jb-Rajano and not even close. The suspension on the 500x might as well be paper.
Can’t go wrong with a black colour scheme with gold rims.
Probably should have only 3 ride modes. Road, rain and dirt.
If I was looking for an adventure bike today, this probably would have been high on the list.
Top of the list for me. Yep, and love that black and gold
No mention on how difficult or heavy it is to get upright off the side stand?
Or all of you were fine with it?
Pretty sure none of had an issue getting it off the side stand
Johnny Player Special colors - love it!
Yes, that’s exactly what it’s like.
I bought one. Unlike the video suggests, I bought mine for dirt and it is excellent offroad. Love mine.
Nice one, it’s a very capable off roader.
I like the red and black. I would still like to try one of these. Great price for a new bike.
Awesome price, great for some of those dirt roads in Tassie.
What an amazing team. You guys ROCK with the presentation. Really enjoyable to watch as you laugh, smile, and play off each other throughout. Well done! And I'm actually considering getting this bike after seeing the review.
Thanks so much! Glad to hear you like our banter and the video
Also, great to hear you are buying a Himi.
Lol, not just us with the mirrors then.
Cheers, Todd
@@toddparker6807nice one, we have reached out to CF Moto to see if we can get some our their bikes for review, it will be good to compare. Enjoy your new bike

They need a lowering kit for the shorter riders ,they did it with the 411 ,Honda did it with the 300 brought out the LS ,not every one bothers ground clearance the just want to touch the ground ,their sales would rise especially in Asia
I’m sure someone will make one
I rode the bike on the street.
You feel like you’re sitting on top of the bike, for a refined 450 water cooled engine you would think the engine would feel smoother but it felt clanky. You have to really give it gas to accelerate from a stop
Comfortable bike though feels a little heavier than I thought it would
Water cooled but still a single, hence the thumpier feeling from the engine.
This guy makes a Himalayan look small. How tall is he?!
lol, he is 6’5” so much taller than the average person
If you ride with your toes on the footrests, how can you complain about not reaching the gear lever?
Aahh, yes if you always ride that way correct
Split tube steel frame is easy to fix. It’s a global market, but the bike is still made for India.
The 411 handles really well considering the huge front hoop. So I’d imagine the upgraded bike with significantly better suspension will be better.
Hmmm. Should I sell the Tiger???? 😂😂😂😂😂
Yes, yes you should. Stef, you know I liked the old Himi, but the new one is next level. Thinking of selling the Meteor and buying one
Regarding the year shift. I have no problems. Maybe you had a bad examp!e.
I reckon you are probably correct
The old one looked so much cooler. Like something out of Indiana Jones. They should have sold both side by side, not replaced.
All personal preference I suppose, I prefer the look of the new one, but thanks for watching.
Thats true.
But the beauty of tubeless is that you can deflate the tire several lbs to get more traction in snow or mud without any issue. If you deflate a tube it can potentially loosen the tire from the rim it can roll up in the rim or out of the rim the valve stem can be drawn into the rim. There's pluses and minuses to each
I’m a bit late to the party “ maybe because I’m about 3 years off 60 “.
Your young fella seems to make comments on some issues he really doesn’t seem to know much about ( or just makes it up ) . I’m not going to go into his rant as to much to mention. I don’t own one but ridden a few times , and consider selling my Honda 300 Rally to buy one ☝️, I also have a Moto Guzzi V85tt. I’m on bike number 28 , a list of Enduro , Motorcross , ADV and road . But will it cruise at 130 kph/75 mph all day? You often have to ride high speed roads to get to the slower speed dirt roads and highways.

I saw a video from India today and he showed where the frame broke on the 450 himalian what’s going on there or was the video a fake I don’t know that should be investigated ,if it’s true this is dangerous at 100ks
It's fake I think. The uploaded removed the original video and the frame looks like it's cut.
I seriously doubt it’s an issue, I seen videos of these being ridden very hard, and based on the press bike we had the frame is solid
Ima retired USA welder. You have to have real welders, not just some jackoff. A good weld is stronger than the surrounding tube. They must have some jacoff doing it.
Those front bar guards are HORRIBLE
Who did design it?
I reckon they looks quite purposeful
She didn’t tell us why she doesn’t like the 450.
My main complaint is getting to the air filter. Having to remove the fuel tank in a modern bike simply to get to the air filter is crazy if you’re going to ride it off road.
That does seem like a strange design
There were complaints on the old 411 concerning the air filter location; down low under the seat. It was susceptible to sucking in water on a water crossing. That's why it wad moved.
@@billymc2681 Thry should have located it in a spot that you don’t have to remove the tank to change a filter.
It had to be done for the sake of keeping the bike narrow, as one of the complaints with the old style Himalayan was, that standing up was not comfortable because of the bulky outward covers.

I actually quite like the integrated lights.
So much for an objective approach here, eh?
