If you hear a enemy outside your perimeter and want to get your weapon, drop it and pick it up so it won’t make the holster sound.
I always have it out in all tactical situations. the only time it's away is when I'm running through heavy cover "woods." 😊

When on big pvp servers, this is my favourite play style, can easily take out a whole squad if ya keep stealthy and repositioning after every shot and when to make the perfect shot!
I love the stealthy approach too, it's way more fun
There's a big difference also between having a bag on also, and shouldered weapons with the aforementioned you're pretty much silent with the foot wraps/barefooted with the chance to bleed.

When I'm a newer spawn I always try stalking people. Found a group of 3 a couple weeks ago and managed to follow them all night.
It's so exhilarating trying to stay close enough for VoIP and to not lose them but far enough that you don't risk getting caught should they decide to randomly run in a direction.

Gag motor bike helmet and foot rags really is op, we use the gag and the helmet when we eat people so the laughing can't be heard on the other side of town 😂

I was guille suited and wrapped feet in the woods east of the tents at NWA about 4-5 days ago looking to improve my gunplay. I was tracking a player because he ran straight past it heading to the barracks just north. I legit wound up less than 10' from another player. He did not hear me and he was aiming at the tents. Again, how he didn't see me moving or hear me... I ran past his point of view for sure. Point blank to the face. I have a feeling he would be pissed if he knew how close I actually was... And no, I did not find the player that ran past the tents originally, I think he heard my silenced shot and changed direction.
That's awesome and such a good use for it. I have a part two(ish) for this and I think the first thing I mention is the ghillie suit, but I also recommend against it as much as for it depending on the situation. I feel like new players aim to get a ghillie but it can be a detriment too
It does. It soaks up water, it's going to reduce stamina and limit carrying capacity. I play solo on official servers. So I swap the guille out depending on if I'm looking for loot specifically or players specifically. Not going to lie, I'm in a little base in some pine trees in Tisy and noone has found it yet, so I guille in and out of my base depending on my gut. Lol. Great videos. I'll keep my eye out for the other video you suggested.
Naah, the foot wraps wear out at least 20 times faster than athletic shoes. Always use Pristine or Worn rags to make the wraps, because they ruin super fast.
Also, there's no backpack or clothing item in the game that produces more sound than a rifle in your hands. If you're creeping with your weapon out, there's a constant metallic CLICK-CLACK.
Sadly you never got a like from stating facts, nothing wrong with not knowing everything... I wish they'd remove the wraps tbh, and definitely foot wraps at the least, it's so silly.
The wrags on shoes is a good one for me i didnt know that
On navigation at night I found that out very quickly. People don't like going anywhere at night. I love it killed so many people making fires at night. Also it's makes looting certain areas a lot easier. Only problem is when you aren't crouching the zombies have super senses at night and mob you a lot more.
Also I do this with no tourist map or nvgs. Just I survive and some luck no compass either.

The amount of stuff you have in your inventory does not correlate to how loud you are. Only certain equip slots contribute to your audible stealth.
Being overweight can make you louder, especially to zombies, try it out
This is all very good help here. But for some reason my character Laughs like a maniac, I think i might have lost one too many apocalypse buddies to unkown circumstances

Silenced pistols still attract nearby zombies. I try to crouch walk and stealth kill them with a knife when looting military tents or random police/military wrecks. Leaves you exposed to players but at least you can avoid being swarmed by zombies.

Alot of people don't know but it's because the police and military zombies ai are trained to hear gunshots even silenced I assume it's cause there job before infection
I think a need to know is how far your sound travels, e.i walking to running, using items. Ive played for 1k hours and still not sure of the distance i can be heard from while walking/running or if buddy two houses down can hear me munching lol. Decent vid though dude

Solid educational content
The burlap bag is way more quit than al others. Don't wear a belt, as they make noise.
I don't even know what the point of a basic belt is.
It's not ao much about stealth at my level. But just shooting and fighting people better. I seem fine fighting zombies because you figure them out pretty quick. But the experienceed player are difficult to slug it out with for sure! I saw they just quick jab you to death instead of using a heavy attack. Or They'll quickly do the opposite of what you're doing! And kill you quickly. I'm learning.. and of course need target practice! And better weapons. Because there's no room for error against an experienced player. I like to crouch a lot to sneak around towns.. but I'm learning to try to be patient and scope out the town before i even enter it!

@@BradleysTrackUniverse sneak up with a one-handed blade or screw driver, making sure you're unseen, left trigger and right trigger, like you're hitting them from behind. Stone/bone knives don't work
