thanks for posting , as already posted a piece of Oz rock history that forms part of who we are. And Harry you are a deep part of Oz music industry and thank you.
Thanks for this download Harry - it's a patchy recording (aged) but it is 1999, and its an essential piece of archival performance for which I am grateful..........always loved Doc & the Angels....
Doc stage dived in 86, I caughtn him on his left shoulder, he looked down at my plastered arm said sorry man, I shoved him back onstage, but I met Doc, I met him!!!
I have never seen AC/DC play live. I have seen the Angels play from memory about nine times going way back to a gig on the Gold Coast around 1980 and then pretty much every 1980s rock festival after that ending at a gig around 2009 after the original band reformed a few years before Doc sadly passed away. The last gig was the best, close to the stage at a smallish venue and a long set with everything you could wish for from Australia's greatest ever hard rock band.
I fell asleep at an acdc concert , it was so choreographed like watching a video (brian not Bon the legend) Not a chance in hell of that happening at an angels gig. Weren't they just great? I miss them..
Loved it when it first aired. So lucky it still exists. I'd expect they may have done some other songs that guy cut from the broadcast. Would love to see them if they exist
Could have fitted in a Doc scream there. I love that song, it was obviously during their hard touring of the U.S. Amazing song but just missing that Aussie edge. They did it better really live. I could go on with with aussie bands that were so much catered to the Aussie live scene. It was so great.
Loved them when i was 18 now i love them and acdc when i am 67 rock on
What a band, what a lead man. RIP Doc, missed but not forgotten!
I need a old school friend intervention cheer up spontaneous drop by
The equal of any national or international band I've seen in 40+ years. Doc owned the stage - always. RIP - Angels Be With You. 🖤🖤🖤
Me too , what a great band. 1st pub gig i ever saw at 16 years old. Man ,just awesome, i miss it 🤙

I went to one of his last gigs just as the band got together again after all the stupid fighting. Amazing night but you could tell he wasn't well.

Very good.... Excellent in fact
The MOST underrated band of all time. Never mind AC/DC
Thanks for the many Oz Rock tubes Harry.
What a great incarnation of the band.
Pretty sure this is the same line-up that played on "Liveline" which is my favourite album by anyone, ever 🤘👍

WOW...
Doc looks a bit insane but then aren't we all :-)
Why, why, why do people not post when something was shot?
Whoever did the lighting for the angels it was always crap.
Doc looked like the Hulk when it was green..
