Best trailers on the market. Your paint is second to none. I’ve been using my dump trailer a lot for aggregate and broken concrete and I still can’t see bare metal.

Great video showcasing some of your Goose-neck models. One suggestion for improvement is to offer a slide-out battery tray in the box to make battery installing/removal easier. It's a tight fit for batteries already, and it would make life easier if the batteries could be mounted on sliding trays.
Great video with a lot of awesome trailers! I have a 1993 40' diamond C dual tandem flat bed. I dove tailed the final 5' and am building some mega ramps to go on it. Got a set of the flip latches from y'all and a set of Diamond C decals, am about to repaint it with urethrane med. Gray. Even back in 93' they built an awesome trailer! Still going strong! Fyi, Just a thought 🤔 in the front behind the gooseneck toward the trailer where you would weld or bolt on the additional 8-ft step on top where somebody can put a pallet. Below that in front rather than behind using a chain rack as I would have in one of my kw900 84-in studio. I had diamond back chain s and also strap compartment that could be locked. It being the trailer and most likely of course gooseneck hot shot. In front underneath like a step Deck you could add a similar chain and strap set up already for a lock. Normally you get a simple key one but you have the addition of putting your own high money lock on it and tow with the standard key lock on the latch. That would be a good option. Just a thought. I would definitely wait to order the right trailer with the most optional value of hauling of the most options. Meaning hauling cars or super wides? I had one rig that dedicated to hauling fast boats. These were super cats. Some with a cockpit like a jet. Some were just for fun. That's big money. Start out at 12 ft wide and if you can save the tread and those boats are light. Those race boats of course are light, but they have helicopter turbine engines in them. So they're really light. Just wide so it's over wide. 14 ft. Wide they get a little heavy but that's about the max for those race boats. I almost bit off more and I can chew hauling a sailboat. Thank God I didn't do that. I would definitely have the hydraulic jacks so if I have driver coming my direction I can grab his load and take it back towards the shop where I need to be the most. Then he can take that. Keep on going. If I get a trailer it better be on that truck 99.9% at a time. That's how you make that money. Those Wheels ain't turning, You're losing money. I definitely love the square load leveler. Because he's a truck, the standard for a ball hitch is 19 in. But it could vary on a gooseneck. I tried to keep them all the same. I did have each tractor with a gooseneck ball attached to the rear of the frame. Every truck was custom and brand new for the drivers. Having 5 of them and 1 custom. It paid for itself A thousand times. Just awesome!👊😎
I'd like to see an all steel deck. More like 3/16 base metal plate with a 3/16" expanded metal welded on it for traction for the wheeled/tracked loaders. This would prevent expensive sun damage from making the owner replace floor boards every 5-10 years.

I could sell multiple units today (I am not a dealer) if i could find them for my buddies. Anyways, best trailer on the road bar none!
Hi Britton! Thanks so much for the reply and kind words! I would encourage to double check on the numbers and make sure the trailer being priced is apples to apples to yours. Lockdown straps are supposed to be on the driver side of the rig and or trailer. This is so the operator can keep an eye on the straps on the driver side. Locking down those straps. The L bracket or v bracket would be on the passenger side rail and go over the load. Then it would be a 4-in drop down on the driver side. This would be standard practice throughout the industry. The two trailers on the left @ 1:57 both have the reflective tape backwards! The way that it now directs someone into or in front of the power unit rather than behind it. White should lead Red (Red to the Rear) like the trailer on the right. What a massive unsafe mistake
Hello there Dezmar! Thanks dove stopping by. We get the question from time to time about reflective tape. We adhere to and follow NHTSA and DOT standards. Within those two organizations - reflective tape is non directional.
Where can you get those orange and red square reflector stickers? I've been looking for them all over but I only see them on trailers and RVs, not retail...
Do you have any build spots available so I can order a trailer? Also any suggestions to what will work best for me I work on a ranch and maybe haul many different things on various terrains

What would be recommended for a beginner gooseneck puller? Current load is about 6-7k. Looking into purchasing 8k track loader and mower. And ability to haul vehicles if needed.

Well I am having a problem with my 3 month old Diamond C trailer. The 7k torsion axles used on this trailer are over rated. I had 9200# GVW and the axles went tits up after a 200 mile trip. Diamond C are trying to weasel out of the warranty, claiming these axles when loaded correctly can not fail by hauling a load such as mine. Keith Barnes is claiming it must be user error. Well we will just see who has the final word here.
If I was dimond C I'd be contacting hot shot youtubers such as Tow Piglet. Last I knew he was looking for new trailers in the 40ft. Also I know you're busy buttt if Sam's trailer from V-Belt and Son could get an update I hope you can deliver his trailer before his new ram 5500 is delivered.

Hi. I have a 42ft Rollback tow truck. I am planning on getting a Gooseneck trailer to haul extra cars. I want to buy 35ft heavy duty gooseneck trailer to haul bigger trucks. What would you recommend?
Thanks for the video! Headed down to outside of Atlanta this Saturday to a dealer to hopefully place my order of a fmax 207. Buddy is picking up his little utility trailer made by you all from the dealer down there. I can’t decide between the xdr Ramps or the max Ramp. Do the xdr have a flat stock mount as well where they can also be stood straight up during transport as opposed to tight to the deck? Having both choices to secure the ramps would be nice. I will be hauling a mid size cab tractor with front end loader and a single tail wheel brush hog on the back. Or would you recommend looking at the max ramp option ? Thank you for the videos once again !
For you - Max Ramp all the way! 😁 But yes XDR as well as Max Ramp both can but pinned in the vertical position as you asked or locked down to the dovetail.
I’m looking to haul one 3/4 ton or 1 ton trucks to bring home as project I want a gooseneck for stability but wanted to keep the weight low do you make drive over fender style trailers in gooseneck or would a deck over work better?
Great question! Either one would be a great choice. Check out the LPX in the equipment trailer section on our website. www.diamondc.com/trailers/equipment/lpx/ You can build it with a gooseneck package as well as frame extensions and drive over fenders (which gives you the 102” wide). Or check out the FMAX deck overs at www.diamondc.com/trailers/gooseneck/.

I’m looking to order an fmax 212 later this fall 40’. What would be an estimated trailer weight difference between the 212 and the 216 with the same options. Thanks, Eric
There is about 800-900lbs difference between the standard 212 and 216. The weight difference is in the standard wheels/tires, heavier duty axles and suspension as well as slightly bigger frame on the 216. Hope this helps!
Thanks for the video. I have a industry question, why does every class 8 truck use a fifth wheel hitch and most hotshoters use goose neck style hitch? Even r/v use a fifth wheel style hitch. Thank you.
It’s all about Articulation. A Goose has 360 degree pivoting, where a 5th is typically forward and back (typically, but there is some 4 way pivot 5th hitches too). Goose does tow better, the closer to your axle the hitch is mounted, the less it effects the tow vehicle’s ride and stability.
@@witkr904 Interesting. I figured it was just a farmer/rancher thing so they had more bed space and it worked relatively well for short bed trucks. Most premium/high end quality 5th wheel hitches for pickups articulate not only front to rear but side to side also. The only thing stopping fifth wheel spinning 360°is trailer connections and cab configuration, not sure but does a gooseneck allow for clearance over the cab? Another I thought might be interesting is a fifth wheel set up on a slider hitch, keeps your overall length shorter but in the tightest of maneuvers you can slide to get extra clearance . I would sure like to demo a few goosenecks for myself. Thank you!

What are the benefits of welding vs bolt-on for the deck on the heck. My concern is after a while the bolt-on option will eventually start to rattle with time and abuse over the years.
So I am buying a f350 to do some hotshot around ohio now that im sort retired from trucking. Which trailer would u recommend? I like the ramps on back that cover up the entire dove so can haul a car or 2. Im guessing loads will be 15k or less.
I just bought a deck over equipment trailer diamond c I can’t get the brakes to slide the tires in gravel am I missing something
Hi there Zach! Thank you for reaching out and thank you for choosing DC!
It is likely that your brakes aren’t burnished in yet. Here are a couple of links on how to complete that process. One is a doc while the other is a video.

If after performing this sequence you still aren’t seeing any braking improvement please contact your dealer for further help. 👍
You should be able to find those stickers at tractor supply if there’s one near you
Those super single gone slide on you
Do you have any build spots available so I can order a trailer? Also any suggestions to what will work best for me I work on a ranch and maybe haul many different things on various terrains
Can you do a video on the gooseneck low deck car trailers please?
Is it possible to tow something like that in Europe? Like when you have a truck big enough?
I’ll be calling again...maybe the 3rd time is the charm to try to spec and order a 40k rated trailer...I’ll even trade in my PJ and buy 2👍
You can’t call the manufacturer, you have to call a dealer who sells Diamond C. If you need to find a dealer, you can go on Diamond Cs website and locate dealers.
@@jameslowry17says who...I already spoke to a Wes at DiamondC but I had a question about the hitch setup for a 40k setup since I have not been able to locate one...Wes was suppose to get back to me after he spoke to a Jacob...I’m assuming it’s the guy in the video...I called back to see what Wes found out with no success.
About a month ago I did the online spec and I did it for 2 different dealerships with no response🤨
Just curious if the trailers that have hydraulics dove tails &/ or jacks do the trailers run stainless steel tubing with flex hoses, pipe w/ flex hoses, or strictly flex hoses?
What would be recommended for a beginner gooseneck puller?
Current load is about 6-7k. Looking into purchasing 8k track loader and mower.
And ability to haul vehicles if needed.
10-14k is a good starting point
Do a video on my DET I ordered to haul my show truck Phillip Matkins T&J Trailers ordered it
How many styles of dackover trailer do you make For pull behind trailers?
Great question!
There are 3 - Model DEC (Deck-over with ramps) Model DET (Deck-over tilt) & Model DOD (Deck-over Dump). One of our next videos like this one coming out is on pull behind deck-over equipment trailers. 😁👍👊
What’s the weight rating for the deck on the neck?
5,000lbs 👍
Can you do a video on your fleetneck triple singles and fleet neck triple duals
Is there a Diamond C dealers in Florida close to Port St Lucie, looking for a hotshot trailer to buy really soon.
If you want a Diamond C and your thinking about Hotshot and you got a couple years to wait on trailer build then Diamond C is your trailer
Hi there William! Thank you for the compliment. Luckily none of our lines are booked anywhere near 1 year out. 👍😁
do yall make car hauler trailers?
Yes we do! Check out: www.diamondc.com/trailers/car-hauler/
What do u like best hydraulic or air breaks and which we’ll keep u from dot regulation
Great question! We only offer hydraulic and electric so we say hydraulic! 😁
How do you keep thieves from targeting such a high end trailer? Maybe a LoJack should come as standard equipment...
For one exactly like this one
Still offering trailers ?
Due u guys offer a finance on these trailers, i jus got my brand new dump trailer stolen after paying cash for it☹️
Yuck! That’s no good. Our dealers do have two finance options available. One is with Sheffield Financial and the other is with Synchrony Financial.

When will the 2.0 be released ???
Late 2021 is the target 🎯
How well does the deck on the neck work with a short bed truck
I have a diamond c req ranger bumper pull 7 ton I bought used and love it but need a gooseneck so I'm shopping and leaning towards diamond c cause I love my bumper pull
Great question! The front corners of the deck are angled so there shouldn’t be any clearance issues with the deck on the neck. 👍
What is the weight capacity
@@loganwilson5748 5,000lbs. More than you’d probably ever want to realistically put up there 😁
What would you recommend for non cdl hotshot?
No such thing legally.
Why no master switch for battery?
Hi. I have a 42ft Rollback tow truck. I am planning on getting a Gooseneck trailer to haul extra cars. I want to buy 35ft heavy duty gooseneck trailer to haul bigger trucks. What would you recommend?
Want one but cant wait 16 weeks for one... :(
best non cdl hot shot trailer?
Gatormade...8k axle...17.5 tires. Bulletproof
FMax 208 in any length you want. Dual 8K Torsion axles w/ 17.5 wheels
@@All-Miles-Matter and heavy as hell, especially with Max ramps. Weight is the enemy in the non-cdl hotshot world.
@@diamondctrailers thank you !
I've seen a number of videos of bent ramps on the pull out ramps and most of them are tractors. Max ramps for sure.
Love the Diamond C trailers just wish there was
an option of both air suspension and air breaks

Is it possible if you guys can make a enclosed trailer
Great question! Unfortunately we can’t make any enclosed trailers.
Any plans of a fleetneck full tilt?
Great question! We are planning to develop one for sure. 👌 No timeline as of yet though.

Has lead times gone down or UP for 40k air ride SDX?
Hi there! Lead time varies by the dealer. Some dealers can get you a custom order in as little as 6-8 weeks and some are further out depending on their ordering pattern and size. Hope this helps!
Love these trailers but I have to say, the front steps are a huge swing and miss. That’s the only thing diamond c falls short on for me but it’s a big deal. Copy gatormade front steps and you’ll earn a new customer here. Well done on everything else!
woundet if them air ride trailers will have problems with a climate -20 and colder

I want to buy 40 feet flat bed trailer non-CDL read it 12,000 pounds torsion can you please give me information about this type of trailer and how much will cost me?

From 8:53-9:15 in the video the lift axle is off the ground. 👍
Nice trailers, but the new prices are over the top. Placed most people out of the market.
How much does a 40 foot cost with air

I will admit, I like what I'm seeing and hearing from you.
What is a fleetneck, is that just another word for gooseneck?
One thing I would offer is an option and have it already incorporated into your trade or should somebody Opto have it installed would be one of those GPS trackers for theft and just put it on nonchalant don’t have any placard‘s or sticker saying he does things protective a GPS that’s how I would do it I just thought of that just now anyhow this is six in a row jimFrom Kennerdell a Pennsylvania

Cool
I’m looking to order an fmax 212 later this fall 40’. What would be an estimated trailer weight difference between the 212 and the 216 with the same options.
Thanks, Eric
There is about 800-900lbs difference between the standard 212 and 216. The weight difference is in the standard wheels/tires, heavier duty axles and suspension as well as slightly bigger frame on the 216. Hope this helps!
Need to advertise trailer weight, the GVWR is kinda useless without knowing what it weighs.
@@witkr904
Interesting.
Thank you!
@@454bard they also make sliders so short beds can pull regular campers. Each thing is give and take with a hitch and $$$ you want to spend.
