Hey man! Watched the whole video, take care of yourself and i hope you get better soon enough
Thank you so much for your warm comment and support 😭
i saw in another video the medication you are taking. low testosterone can cause depression. be careful with antidepressants they can be dangerous
Thank you for your comment😄 yeah. I’ll be careful 👍
thanks for this video it will help some people. just giving your symptoms is a big help.what antidepressant are you taking.
Thank you for your comment and support😄 I am taking Effexor/Venlafaxine now.
Where you diagnosed with low testosterone BEFORE or AFTER you started taking effexor/velefaxin?
Thank you for your comment😄 I was diagnosed with it based on my blood test 2 days after I have started taking Effexor.
When you did the blood work [ at the time when they took your blood] to test for testosterone, were you taking velefaxin? That is, was velefaxin in your system when they took your blood?
Yes, I was. The venlafaxine was in my system for 2 days when they took my blood.
Did they also test your " prolactin " levels? Prolactin is a hormone produced in the pituatary gland. When you take SSRI/SNRI like velefaxin, this can increase your prolactin level. This is well known in the medical literature. If prolactin is high it turns off testosterone in males and estrogen in females. I asked you because the same thing happened to me also. I was taking a different SSRI , and once I started taking the medication my testosterone went down to 6.4 nmol/l. They gave me a medication called cabergoline and that turns off your propactin, and testosterone went back to 18.9 nmol/l. You don't even need TRT, if prolactin is the cause of your problem.
