    One last episode with Steve! Even though Steve has stayed out of the public light, I hope Steve is having a wonderful life wherever he is these days. It's funny to see how much he's grown since season 1!

      @@josemedinasgamefowlpage5988 : The thing is that, well, you heard Steve. He practiced 100 pine trees on Cardboard before they looked like what you saw in the picture. Also, if you've watched Bob Ross for a while, you're probably familiar with what Bob always said about Steve "My son paints better mountains than me" and that's true.
      Also, you need a very thick paint. The stuff the Bob Ross company makes nowadays would probably piss Bob off. It's too thin.
      EDIT: You need natural brushes too. Horse hair or something. Not synthetic shit.

    These are some of the only videos on UA-cam nowadays where the comment section isn't riddled with malicious comments. I'm so glad that something as simple as a guy spending 25 minutes painting can bring people together in such a peaceful way. Bob Ross was an inspiring guy, and even though I only know him through these episodes, I can't help but miss him. If anyone didn't deserve such a sad end to such a happy little world, it would be Bob Ross

    It is particularly poignant to me, because I'm a 5 year survivor of lymphoma myself.
    God I wish they could have saved Bob, but glad he had a chance to have his boy on there one last time.

      Yes, I said lymphoma because I had it as well. Had he lived a few more years, the treatments are so much better now - he could have potentially still been painting happy clouds with the happy trees for the happy squirrels and making our hearts happier.

    Just think of the hundreds of Paintings that are stored somewhere. That's incredible. All by the best speed artist I know, who's main philosophy was that you con't need to think about what is going to happen next but to go with it and Smile at its beauty.
    Bob Ross was an incredible man with a great family and well-lived, happy life and it makes me sad every episode I watch that he is no longer with us.

    What I love about TV back then is that it was so down to earth - no nonsense, no annoying music or edits or script. If anything the end to these shows were always a bit of anti climax considering how wonderful the paintings are.

    You know, Steve's style, while sharing much of the same attributes as his dad's, is SO distinct and different at the same time. Even though Bob painted a lot of similar landscapes this one feels so different. Even the way he paints stuff is different. Absolutely amazing.

    I was so happy finding Bob Ross here on UA-cam, i'm from Brazil and i love his painting.I saw the documentary...And i was sad understanding what happend with him,his job,his legacy...That's no fair...😢He was a great paintter and a great human... Bob Ross Forever!❤️

    Steve if you can read this, I just want to tell you your dad was such a special man. Its just tragic that I didn't get into painting until a year ago. I actually paint glass, but I LOVE your dads work. There are no words to describe his talent. Please don't give up on yours:-) You are very talented and he would be so proud of you.     I wonder if Steve ever had kids and taught them to paint like this. Imagine in a thousand years it’s still been passed down their line and there’s a future Bob Ross child thats painting majestic futuristic sceneries with a positive attitude

    If you ever see this Steve. You and your father is my greatest role models and my inspirations in life. I really hope and believe you're still painting. You guys got me started and that was just one year ago. That's when i first came around " Joy of painting.
    You didn't just got me to paint which helped me a lot with my stress,anxiety and so on. You changed my perspective of life to the better. I wish you the best Steve
