Not worth debating, but I'm sticking with him meaning last one in the row. I've probably watched 100 of these paintings and never once seen him leave a huge hole in the painting like it would have been if he had actually stopped.

He had to paint every painting in the show at least twice for different camera angles because of the technological restraints of the time. Although he is seemingly just coming up with what to paint as he goes, he has a clear plan that he must follow. He is very talented in making it look very impromptu.

Death is hard to accept as a human, and even in some animals, but we must remember, that, someday, we too may find our place beside God... And our loved ones, Friends, people we once knew... Will be there to welcome us home... But we must be patient, and do God's work... Just as they did... It will be sad, and sometimes, we may feel lonely, but remember, God is always there to guide us if we know where to look... And if we get lost, just pray... And ask God to guide you...
This is how I deal with my everyday life... Because I know God will someday guide me home...
I understand how you feel, because death is hard... It is sad... We feel we lost someone we love... But they are not gone... They are still watching over us from above...

I watched him create the illusion of wood. I watched him do it step by step. And then a couple minutes later I still thought he was painting on actual wood.

My late father and I would watch these shows together in our family room, and would laugh everytime he'd whisper, "Lets put a happy little tree right here".
Bob would also so confidently put a smear of Van Dyke Arugala or something on the canvas, and we would both say, "He DEFINATELY f'ed the painting up!"
And then he would blend everything together and the painting would be perfect....
Bob Ross was the man. You can have Pablo Picasso, Ill take Bob Ross everyday and twice on Sundays.

@@yaboirichard6175 I remember in previous episodes he mentioned there's no editing at all, beyond the different camera angles. I think he might've drawn paintings multiple times as practice before recording, but what you see here is exactly what you get.

Whenever I cant sleep, I come to Bob. His voice soothes me right to sleep and the brush strokes adds to it. He helps me more than I'd ever imagine

When god ran out of ideas he created Bob, and together they created some of the worlds masterpieces, and Bob made sure that every tree, and every bush, and every mountain... Had a friend. Bob didn’t die, god just ran out of ideas for the other places he created and needed an extra touch from Bob.
The most wholesome guy in the world taught me how to paint. This is my best day ever.

I love Bob Ross for so many reasons. He didn't give a shit about other people's opinions. And when he painted, it wasn't "do it like this" he always told u to do it how u wanted to. And literally, Bob Ross kept painting and kept doing his show until he got so sick that he couldn't do it anymore. He didn't give a shit that he had cancer, he kept going and doing what he loved because he didn't care. I admire him so much and I'm still watching him to this day. 2018. He's such an inspiration to me. RIP Bob Ross.
