No matter which button you push, you will have 50:50 distribution. The only thing that changes is the delay to lock or unlock the diff to help it turn in what ever conditions is on the road
Hey man I'm pretty sure it's the opposite. The diff on gravel mode will be locked for 2 to 3 secs then go to a free state and allow power to be transferred :)
I could be wrong on this re the EVO, but using gravel mode even with listening to your reading of the manual, it’s says use in wet or unmade, to me that reads wet on unmade roads, doing what you are doing is equivalent to driving a 4wd on tarmac with diff lockers on which can stuff your diff, do you feel when driving on tarmac additional friction when turning or slower speeds when using gravel mode on tarmac, I wouldn’t do this, it can affect your CVs axle and possible engine damage, if you understand how a diff works and you have too a front and a rear, you loading these up, when that feature is designed for when you are actually losing grip, you won’t be doing that in std modes on tarmac. I have a Subi not an EVO but want to get a 9 at some stage, not to replace my Subi, I love both EVOs and STIs, but I don’t think it’s a good idea doing what you are doing, or as the famous Diego Montoya once said, “I do not think it means what you think it means” cheers, enjoy your vids.
sorry just saw this...i would need to look at the wording but assuming Mitusbishi git their grammar right by using "or" it would mean wet tarmac or any loose (gravel, sand etc) road
Hi Will, hope all is well. I have a quick question. I have an evo 8 fq300 and the ACD fluid is on the left side of the boot. What fluid should I top it up with, Im going round the houses in forums with no certain answer. I think its ATF sp 111 although it said it was for automatic transmisions and mine is manual, Also Cant find any available in the UK. Any ideas? Many thanks dude!!
The cutting away to “to the animals” and Bullshitting around when we are trying to understand what you are talking about is very frustrating. Edit all that crap out bro. Get to the point.
This video is 10 minutes longer than it needs to be
Init Jesus man...

Really didn't need all of your carwash commentary
Quit whinging.
"...don't need your nonsense.." poor cat didn't see that coming 😂😂 Great content as always!
Haha she’s a brat and will totally hide in the car if I leave the door open. Ask me how I know 🤬

This video was so long ago I can’t say but I will say I vet my sources very well. Not just random forum post.
Can you explain me what the car does when the acd pomp is broken? How the diff works then?
I'm prob no the best to explain but I think it just becomes open
When the ACD is broken all the three lights will illuminate that's all! The ACD won't function but you can still drive the car normally!

Nice Evo información as always

You sure that isn't windshield washer fluid? Regardless I would just use oem so call local mitsu dealer
@@willsanders187 no washer fluid is on the right side of the boot. Think that will be the best solution. Many thanks!
Usdm evo dont have ayc I believe.
Correct. Not until the 10 anyway
The Evo X is the only generation that does
My Evo 8 doesn't have this, less to go wrong/repair :)
Sure I get this and a lot of people feel this way. I’d still prefer to have it and ayc
Its not a problem if you live in a place that doesnt snow....or just relocated it in the rear trunk.
Still very beneficial in wet and dry
What is video about, cats and dogs or the evo?....just wasted couple minutes of my life...smh
I know the feeling 🙄
Sigh....
Amen... Jesus
