The previous build Is exactly why I do my own work, if I get stuck on something then UA-cam will definitely have a video tutorial for me to watch and learn
Thank you for the compliment. :) Check your local shops and ask them how they do their work before making a commitment. The previous install on this car was horrible, we almost cried.
Wow, you guys have done such a thorough job with this install, that for the first time ever, I am actually considering a professional installation for my stereo, as long as it is up to par with this one here. Good job guys.
Yeah those amps can definitely breath stuffed under the seat like that. And kudos for applying the sticker on his car. Way to attract thieves. Good job.
Always happy to hear from a satisfied customer. And yes! We do have a stereo install video. You should be able to find it in our "Installation Videos" playlist. That video covers both single din and double din stereos and their common mounting methods. It should give you a pretty good idea of what you'll be doing for your install.
When he was talking about the pros of using factory looms is you can separate wires as needed to avoid any static or feedback if the power wiring for the amps is too close to the wires that go from the stereo to the amp.
very nice install guys one of the better videos from sonic but you guys rule anyways making any retail stereo shop piss themselves at least where I live lol. very professional!!
Awesome job guys!!! I usually stay away from install bays BECAUSE of the things you found in the beginning of the video lol! Definitely know what you are doing and I bet it sounds amazing!!!
finalllyyy. somebody that knows hows to do a clean install. i take audio serious, from clean to spiffy. currently own 4 alpine type r's 0 gauge wire to four rf amps and two alternators in my chevy trailblazer. loud but nothing extreme. still CLEAN AMAZINg setup!! thumbsss and subbed
Johny Coronel alpines are more for sound quality, but they can shake some shit up if you want them to lol. Some of the best sounding subs I’ve heard, the type Rs that is. But when it comes down to it, it’s all personal preference... like with me, I’m a Rockford Fosgate fanatic lol.
you guys should talk about when it is time to upgrade your electrical system and what's the limits on a factory electrical system if you haven't already. Thanks, that's just a question i always have.
on the real this is an amazing video. I done at home installs with subs and amp and the wiring always had me slumped. I want my future work to be as clean as this but I'm scared I'll break off plastic clips or lose bolts and wouldn't know how to reinstall it.. I would pay you guys to teach me your ways for 2 days.. I live in Arizona but I would travel out there just to be taught your work.
+Bryant QUinones Gotta take your chances. My previous car I've ripped stuff in and out many times (upgrading and fixing my own mistakes). I can remove my radio in less than 5 minutes blindfolded.
NVX And RE are the new new! Awesome subs! I can tell you why the amps are under the seats because there out of the way, they fit with adequate air flow and there are 2 mono block amps so they shouldn't heat up!!!! And 2500 is damn good considering the added up price of all the hardware & labor
The video timeline is not in sync with how we did the install. While we showed the battery early on in the video, it was one of the last things we did.
nice job! keep it up.. one question guyz, Is it better to install rear speakers in the door or in the rear self/tray? and should i be installing component speakers in the rear or i'm better off with the components in front only? I need Good sound Quality!! thanks
The NVX amplifiers are far from cheap, they can match the Rockford amplifiers without any problem. Besides, the original install had only one rockford amp and it didn't output the 2400W RMS we were aiming for. We needed to conserve as much trunk space as possible and hide the setup, so we installed it how you see it in the video.
@sonic electronic will it be necessary to go with a active crossover system if you use the same set up in this video? Not looking to wake up the city just HD sound, live performance etc.
Hey, where do you learn to do this kind of stuff? I really badly want to learn how. Also everything about subs, speakers, amps, the wiring, boxes, and everything inbetween.
what brand is your crimper and what tool are you using in 3min:9secs - 3mins:17secs and what brand and just one more thing what brand is your right angle drill bit please and thank you
like your vids and the q&a segments would like to know which brand u guys prefer over another brand because of sound quality like which door speakers or amps or subs ect...
You guys are awesome! Just bought a 12" box from you guys and I have to say, great stuff! It makes my new Fosgate P3 sound amazing! I have an 08 Altima and love it! You guys did a great job! I want to install a double din head unit in my Altima, you guys have a video for that? Prolly do! Thanks for this video, it was very educational!
Will do. Its due time for a car audio upgrade that's going to take me a year to complete budget wise. In my current setup I'm running a pair of performance technique 4 way 6x9 for my rears an unknown front pass. door speaker no driver side speaker with a pair of 12"crunch groundpounder subs on a 900w 2 channel amplifier lol. The upgrades will be a pair of performance technique 3 way 5 1/2 for the fronts a pair of 12"nvx subs with speaker box modifications ( reseal ) some sound deadning with a 2nd amp to be installed a 1000w 4 channel amplifier to all 4 speakers. It'll be a 2 amp system
This is Pedro, I just saw you car audio installation on the Nissa 2008. If I would like to get the upgrade just as the Nissa how much would it cost me on a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2011? The same exact upgrade
We are located in Southern California, 40 mins north of Los Angeles. Unless you are there behinds the scenes it is hard to know what is really going on. :[
Great install, I didn't know anyone other than me actually goes through all this trouble. We have a shop in NY that is hailed as the gold standard for car audio installation, and i have seen some of the worst work out of them, equal of those 6x9's. Where are you guys located?
Incredible work guys.... I do some of my own installs.. basic stuff.. head units etc. And I was wondering if you had any advice on which of the mobile electronics schools.. if any.. are worth looking into? I would like to broaden my experience in the field, and and get my MECP.
Wats the cost for a premium install like this for a Chevy suburban w/bose system, and u want to replace it with an all pioneer system, & I have everything?
When installing the nvx cap, do you still have to fuse it at the battery and run the wire to the cap or do i have to run the wire to the cap and fuse the wire like you would do at the battery but at the cap?
i love the work you do on here you guys. the only thing i was wondering is how you guys installed the remote wire. and also for grounding where is it the best location. since i own a 92 pontiac firebird its kinda hard to find a good grounding point.
The previous build Is exactly why I do my own work, if I get stuck on something then UA-cam will definitely have a video tutorial for me to watch and learn
Man these installs cost customers a pretty penny I bet! You guys do an Excellent job installing these sound systems!
And a stand alone fuel management system; Not a bad way to spend ten thousand dollars...
Thank you for the compliment. :)
Check your local shops and ask them how they do their work before making a commitment. The previous install on this car was horrible, we almost cried.
These type of vids are why if I have a shop install something, I pull it apart to see the details.
Allyn doesn't look like u miss soundman to much... U still have that incredible craftsmanship... Keep up the clean work....
And here I am, excited just to install a 12 inch sub in mine.
Of course you're impressed with the NVX gear..... it's Sonic house brand. lol
From what I can tell nvx is pretty good stuff
Wow, you guys have done such a thorough job with this install, that for the first time ever, I am actually considering a professional installation for my stereo, as long as it is up to par with this one here. Good job guys.
Each sub was a Dual 2 ohm sub wired in parallel to 1 ohm load on it's own amp. We had a JAD1200.1 for each sub, 1200W RMS at 1 ohm.
WOW
Yeah those amps can definitely breath stuffed under the seat like that. And kudos for applying the sticker on his car. Way to attract thieves. Good job.

I passed gas
When he was talking about the pros of using factory looms is you can separate wires as needed to avoid any static or feedback if the power wiring for the amps is too close to the wires that go from the stereo to the amp.
They both used to work at soundman. We're lucky to have them!
"These speakers aren't even screwed in" that's why my dad and I do all my car audio work.
Real nice install, you guys are true pro's. Attention to detail was superb
i don't like the fact you put the amp under the seat but you guys do great work
Great video! Miss Allyn and Doug from Soundman doing vids together, but glad you are both successful!! Keep it old school
i wish u guys would start making vids like this again u been lacking on good vids :(
You should watch my videos
A subwoofer is not tuned to a frequency. It does have a resonant frequency where its mechanical moving mass is in harmony.
very nice install guys one of the better videos from sonic but you guys rule anyways making any retail stereo shop piss themselves at least where I live lol. very professional!!
You need to get a MECP certification. Alot of technical schools have job placement programs so check out technical schools in your area!
Thanks for all your tips guys! I rewired my back speakers and did a super clean install. Glad I have speakers in my car now lol
I rather enjoy your vids. It's stuff i already know but like to watch. Like a reality show but enjoyable.
Awesome job guys!!! I usually stay away from install bays BECAUSE of the things you found in the beginning of the video lol! Definitely know what you are doing and I bet it sounds amazing!!!
what was the cost of this build? I have a 2009 altima and would like to get something similar
I wish I worked at the SonicElectronix shop. Would be a dream job and I could learn from the best...
Brendan as greatly improved as an installer. Love the work buddy
finalllyyy. somebody that knows hows to do a clean install. i take audio serious, from clean to spiffy. currently own 4 alpine type r's 0 gauge wire to four rf amps and two alternators in my chevy trailblazer. loud but nothing extreme. still CLEAN AMAZINg setup!! thumbsss and subbed
Josue Bruno- are the alpines more bass or more sound quality??
Johny Coronel Alpine is a great brand. Their equipment is high quality especially their head units.
You guys should open shops mid west and east coast...nice install.
you guys should talk about when it is time to upgrade your electrical system and what's the limits on a factory electrical system if you haven't already. Thanks, that's just a question i always have.
Ok the best installers I have seen yet super clean work
on the real this is an amazing video. I done at home installs with subs and amp and the wiring always had me slumped. You guys should make more videos like this. This was great
Where did you guys learn to do this quality of work? I need to learn this!
I appriciate these vids. UA-cam has saved me ton$.
how much would something like this build cost? for a 2016 subaru, impressed with your work!
Awesome setup guys keep up the great work
How was the power wire ran through the fire wall??
Jose Cruz for real though. I have no idea where the grommet is to pull it through
NVX And RE are the new new! Awesome subs! I can tell you why the amps are under the seats because there out of the way, they fit with adequate air flow and there are 2 mono block amps so they shouldn't heat up!!!! And 2500 is damn good considering the added up price of all the hardware & labor
Did that d block really get screwed through the floor of the car????
More like this! you know there is a quality install when you see it ! keep it coming guys!
Should we try this at home?
Everything is so clean. I bet it sounds damn good too
oh yeah for sure I mean you get what you pay for
I have a question, first good job your guys are awesome, second how much will that cost price range in a nissan altima 2005
The video timeline is not in sync with how we did the install. While we showed the battery early on in the video, it was one of the last things we did.
Вот эти ребята действительно молодцы! Показали по честному всю свою работу. Не то что один ничего не умеющий ростовский матерщинник-губошлеп)
nice job! keep it up..
one question guyz, Is it better to install rear speakers in the door or in the rear self/tray? and should i be installing component speakers in the rear or i'm better off with the components in front only?
I need Good sound Quality!!
thanks
Thanks guys I hope you guys do more of these videos I loved it?
How do you guys feel about Infinity Speakers? Are they any Good? Thanks!

Not looking to wake up the city just HD sound, live performance etc.
what do you do with the old stuff
Any hardware store should have one, it is a drill bit that rotates with metal wire brushes at the end.
Hey, where do you learn to do this kind of stuff? I really badly want to learn how. Also everything about subs, speakers, amps, the wiring, boxes, and everything inbetween.
what brand is your crimper and what tool are you using in 3min:9secs - 3mins:17secs and what brand and just one more thing what brand is your right angle drill bit please and thank you
+Cedric Vaikeli don't waste your money on whatever type of cutter that is, get a actual wire cutter (Knipex, Snap on, Klein tools).
Yes we ran the wires to the subs from the amps under the seat to the trunk.
We re-wired the entire vehicle with new wire. The factory connectors weren't even there, the shop that did the first install cut them all off.
very clean install. where are your shops located and the cost of an instill loke this?
like your vids and the q&a segments would like to know which brand u guys prefer over another brand because of sound quality like which door speakers or amps or subs ect...
No it does not include all of the parts. The parts are over $2000 alone plus the 2 days of labor from two guys and custom work.
Nice video and install. What is the piece you used to pull power wire through firewall and to pull speaker wire through doors?
damn i wish i had the money for all this props to this dude
Me too 😥
both mono amps are strapped or 1 subwoofer per mono amp? are you using stock alternator?
Great install guys!
What kind of head unit r u using,&what volume did you play the head unit@?
You guys are awesome! Just bought a 12" box from you guys and I have to say, great stuff! It makes my new Fosgate P3 sound amazing! I have an 08 Altima and love it! You guys did a great job! I want to install a double din head unit in my Altima, you guys have a video for that? Prolly do! Thanks for this video, it was very educational!
we're doing the same thing now 2008 Coupe Altima and going Rockford Fosgate. How did yours come out?
Any of them can be a starter battery as long as it fits. The D1200 was used in this video.
I cant believe you guys powered it up prior to grounding the amps. Always ground first then power them up.
Well actually in an eletrical circuit, ground is always last.
hey how are the nvx doors and tweeters? ive heard good things about them but would like to get an professional opinion first
Shouldnt u break those subs in before u start blasting em that hard?
No we did not. We set the gain and left it as is, using the controls from the headunit to adjust the bass output.
They are entirely different, the VCW is an SPL monster while the XQW is meant for the most accurate sound quality.
great job guys I'm still looking for this quality of install in Dallas Texas
you and I both haha
will the amps get enough air so they don't over heat underneath the seats?
I want to know the grand total on the invoice. I would like to do something similar to my 09.
That system sounded good and I mean really damn good, next time do a full Kicker Audio Installation lol
What price does that type of installation have but with a smaller subwoofer 🔊
This is Pedro, I just saw you car audio installation on the Nissa 2008. If I would like to get the upgrade just as the Nissa how much would it cost me on a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2011? The same exact upgrade
We are located in Southern California, 40 mins north of Los Angeles. Unless you are there behinds the scenes it is hard to know what is really going on. :[
I have a 2008 Nissan Altima coupe with a Bose audio system in it. I bought it used. Would I need an aftermarket radio to install a sub?
The panels are removable. It won't be easy, but they can still get it in an emergency.
At least $1500 actually. This was a complete system with a lot of custom work.
Great install, I didn't know anyone other than me actually goes through all this trouble. We have a shop in NY that is hailed as the gold standard for car audio installation, and i have seen some of the worst work out of them, equal of those 6x9's. Where are you guys located?
Does that model none bose system comes amplified or no factory amp.also how good are those nvx amps?
Incredible work guys.... I do some of my own installs.. basic stuff.. head units etc. And I was wondering if you had any advice on which of the mobile electronics schools.. if any.. are worth looking into? I would like to broaden my experience in the field, and and get my MECP.
What Head Unit was used? And how many RCA outputs did it have ?
This was awesome, do more videos like this.
but that includes all the parts right? How much would the install itself cost if I had everything including the wiring?
i got a question, what are the chances that the post for a 6x9 breaks on a stock system after 13 years?
Why do you guys always install the amplifiers under the seats?
About how much this cost I have a 2010 altima still stock and I want to put a system in it
Around in the 2500 range
Why do you cut the wire when you are running into each door and then use crimp conectors to connect it again ?
Wats the cost for a premium install like this for a Chevy suburban w/bose system, and u want to replace it with an all pioneer system, & I have everything?
How did you guys get those dash tweeters out? The pillars are stuck with some adhesive on mine.
hello, i got a question the wood that you are using for the subwoorfer, what is it called ?
When installing the nvx cap, do you still have to fuse it at the battery and run the wire to the cap or do i have to run the wire to the cap and fuse the wire like you would do at the battery but at the cap?
i love the work you do on here you guys. the only thing i was wondering is how you guys installed the remote wire. and also for grounding where is it the best location. since i own a 92 pontiac firebird its kinda hard to find a good grounding point.
bro y'all awesome
