This ACC Carpet is for all 1994-2004 Mustangs. The interior on a car can show some serious wear and tear over time. The carpet tends to get stained and dirty, and replacing the carpeting is a great way to freshen the interior of your mustang. Today we're going to show you how to replace the carpet in your 1994-2004 Mustang in our 2001 Bullitt.

As a person who was constantly taking out the back seat, I found it easier to put my hands between the backrest and seat and pull up, then the hooks holding the seat in the front are easier to disconnect. Also, this is the perfect time when replacing the carpet to install sound deadening if you want the car quieter...
Carpet in my 96 gt was disgusting. This video was very helpful. Now my interior looks better than new.
The best thing I learned from this is that it's super easy to remove the center console. Also, this is probably a LOT easier with a convertible.
Hey Guys, Thanks I was going nuts trying to figure out how this console came out, thanks for information !!!!!
I think if I could make one suggestion, you might vacuum that original carpet real good after the removal of the seats and trim and right before removal so all those pieces of dirt and such don't end up in the floor pan. It's just one little step to help keep the trash out. The video is great though to show how to remove and replace the carpet. This can be a daunting task for the person who's never tried such a project.
can you do a video on how to install a aftermarket steering wheel?
Great install video. My suggestion: Please don't use a razor blade directly if you can help it. It's much safer to put it in a holder.
First thing I thought too. Coming from a family of carpenters and not mechanics... my first thought was 'Razor blade', I have those!!! Second thought... Wait... no utility knife handle??
2-1/2 days later I finished mine. The one with the molded rubber backing is tough to cut. You will need more than a razor blade.
Not as easy as it looks. I said the F word alot.
Super Fun Time f*cking agreed I just got done doing mine 15 min ago it took 5 hours with a friend cause I didn’t have any carpet to trace
Love it my 04' is looking fresh :)
Those seats are nice man
I wonder if the factory one is easier install if it comes precut.
If you simple remove the 2 bolts a remove the shifter handle that makes the console removal much easier.
need one for my 2000 Ford Mustang
Video would be better with the background music.
So one of the bolts on my passenger side seat into the floor was snapped off by one of it past owners can I drill and retap a new whole what size are the threads.
Finally some decent tunes.
Bill, when you disconnected the seat, do you just pull it or do you have to hold it then pull it?
cool. good video. Bill is the man
I see he did not put any noise reduction pads in. Is this not advisable? Since the opportunity is there?
Personal preference. The backing of the carpet has sound deadening properties. If you want more you can add additional when the carpet it out.
Awesome video. Thanks
Black carpet would look better
i love it
God I hate when people remove the factory spoiler off the trunk. It doesn't look as good without some kind of spoiler on it.
Bullitts come factory with no spoiler.
Your not a mustang enthusiast .
That's way to damn much cutting for my taste! Why doesn't ACC just make a carpet that you don't have to cut? Id rather search for a carpet that's in nice shape. Theyre out there
You know they make knives that go with that blade.
What wheels are on that GT?
+Mord Fustang Powdercoated Saleen replicas
When removing the seats, I sheared the rear bolt heads off on BOTH sides :( The bolt stud sticks out underneath. So I've not been able to remove the broken bolts, even with pb, heat torch and a large wrench. I'm thinking my last option left is drilling them out.
