BEST song to dance to on a slippery floor. Stand on the balls of your feet. Move your heels in and out, side to side. Hands in the air. See where the song takes you on the floor. Good memories.
I love this song and the band so much!! My dad went to one of their concerts in the late '70s...he still has 2 guitar picks they threw into the crowd 😂😎
That was simply amazing!! My high school memories came flooding back. I was 16 when this album came out and made for the most memorable summer…..best party album ever
That ain't Joe's Garage! It's too big, too nice and there's no 54 Dodge with a mashed up door. Though I imagine there is a Champ and a Stratocaster somewhere close by.
@@tredoffer thank you, I thought something was off, Daryl if you ever read this, there´s no need to do that man, it takes away the "live" from your live performance sir, perfection ruins true music, in my humble opinion.
Their accountant lived across the street from my future mother in law was the first to have Japanese album yellow plastic ribbon souvenirs fribees key chains Madison Wisconsin their fan club was on Whitney way
I love Daryl's singing but, HE more than anyone, should know the song is paramount to any musician, & the lead singer should be left to sing lead, & the backing vocal (for this particular song) needs to compliment the lead vocal...not "compete with" or "dominate" it.
I never had any interest in them they had 3 big hits and 2 were somebody else's songs and they got put in the rock and roll hall of fame same time as deep purple that's fupped duck deep purple should have been in the hall of fame 30 years before I mean compare 3 hits to 25 big hits I'm only watching this because it's at Darrell s house
I am fucking blown away by how amazing Robin's voice still cuts across the top of all that noise after all these years. God bless rock-n-roll!
Doesn’t even seem like he’s aged at all either
That’s called amplification
this song is probably the first time that many of us heard a twelve string bass. thank you, tom petersson.
That Gretsch! 😍
I'm just smiling ear to ear :) INCREDIBLE!! THANK YOU!
Hot damn. This boomer will never stop loving and listening to real rock and roll.
Goddamn I'm in high school all over again...drinking a little too much..smoking a little too much and having the time of my life
I was probably in high school long before you, but oh yeah. Ditto.
Great music however Damn isn't Almighty God's last name.
BEST song to dance to on a slippery floor.

I live 15 minutes outside from these guys home town. Rick still lives there, last I heard. Seen him a few times driving around.
I'm not much farther away than you. I remember I was working at Wendy's in high school when they played their concert over the radio.
GREAT! Daryl sounds great with the guys. Keep Rocking!
One of the great pop-rock songs ever!
Wow Robin's voice is amazing
Daryl has been dumping tons of great old sessions. I love it. ❤️
Damn, that is an awesome performance.
I love this song and the band so much!! My dad went to one of their concerts in the late '70s...he still has 2 guitar picks they threw into the crowd 😂😎
Great song, great energy, great format.
Killer tune! Reminds me of purchasing the Live at Budakon album on a snow day back in February ‘79.
79? I'm not that old 😮
Sound engineer is earning his pay! Hats off!

Such fine memories from the past brought back to me, and I'm sure a whole lot of others. Cool.
When this song came out I was 12. The girls melted and right then I knew I wanted to be in rock n roll. Yep.

That was simply amazing!! My high school memories came flooding back. I was 16 when this album came out and made for the most memorable summer…..best party album ever

Had to listen to this twice and sub. Awesome.
Rock and roll performed the way it was always meant to be performed. Nothing could be better.
The life affirming light of Rock&Roll !
Such a nice tribute to your sister Russ. She knew how to live life right. Beautiful song by Savannah.

One of my favorite live at Daryl's house is ex's and oh's

So Cool
I would’ve loved to been a fly on the wall in there up close and personal, enjoying every second of it
Find a cooler dude than Rick Nielsen. Can't be done.
still crazy to me how the album version almost sounds country when it first kicks off, cheap trick the greatest live band of all time!!
De lujo 👌
I love Cheap Trick... and Peter Frampton too..ha ha!
Thank you
Takes me back to Jr. High and my bedroom walls covered with Cheap Trick and Rush posters.
“Hello Tokyo, are you ready…”
Wow
この曲大好き❣️❤❤❤
Konichiwa
Drummer understood the assignment
Bad ass
If any guitarists are in here, i highly recommend you checking out the videos of Rick and his collections of guitars! It is ABSOLUTELY INSANE!!!!
Stevie Wonder an American Treasure.💓
I love it but I kinda miss the raw sound and imperfection ❤️🤟
"Diddly-I" "Diddly-I".......great. 😉😉
Look kids.. IT'S "LIVE" 😁👍🏻
No freaking laptops or tracks !🙄
cryin' cryin' cryin'
Why is Bunny E Carlos not on drumbs?
Well done! Better than original 👍
Where's Bun E.
what happened to Bon E Carlo?
That ain't Joe's Garage! It's too big, too nice and there's no 54 Dodge with a mashed up door. Though I imagine there is a Champ and a Stratocaster somewhere close by.
That’s a tough sing for the aging voice to take on. They did it well though.
Those were stand out licks
this videos are quite awesome! I just have a question, is it just me or Daryl is using some sort of "mild" autotune?
"mild" is putting it... mildly
@@tredoffer thank you, I thought something was off, Daryl if you ever read this, there´s no need to do that man, it takes away the "live" from your live performance sir, perfection ruins true music, in my humble opinion.
@@josemiguel666He needs it though.
Bun E was too cool
Guitar Hero...
Sorry guys but Made in Japan by Deep Purple open up Japan to the west six years previous.
🗣️🎵👍🌤️🌷🐝🎸🥁
Their accountant lived across the street from my future mother in law was the first to have Japanese album yellow plastic ribbon souvenirs fribees key chains Madison Wisconsin their fan club was on Whitney way
I think Deep Purple might disagree about Cheap Trick being the first western act to open up Japan....hehe
I'm sorry for palying
Sad!!
Saratoga Water
Deep purple was there first 😉

Love you Daryl, but dont sing harmony with Cheap Trick. Daryl. Especially dont sing at random places in the song. Dosent sound that good.
Sounds like a bad country song when Daryl sings harmony
I thought it was good!
@@TheMattis63That’s because It WAS good; dude above has to hear it the way he’s used to or he can’t take it. Sad, but lots of people are like that.
Not his best LOL. Everything else made it worth it. Great
Daryl should know when not to sing…. Like not at all … ever…
There was as many errors in this performance as a typical Yankees game
I never had any interest in them they had 3 big hits and 2 were somebody else's songs and they got put in the rock and roll hall of fame same time as deep purple that's fupped duck deep purple should have been in the hall of fame 30 years before I mean compare 3 hits to 25 big hits I'm only watching this because it's at Darrell s house
Another hack job by Daryl.
