CallMeCarson is a UA-camr who found himself in some Controversy a few months ago, and ever since being Cancelled his channel just hasn't felt the same. He did return with 2 videos, 'Moving Forward' and 'Where I've Been' which got an interesting reaction from his fanbase, however afterwards his channel saw a drop in views. It seemed like the drama had a negative effect on his channel. This is why CallMeCarson's Career Is Dying.

I’m glad you’re doing okay, i agree that you shouldn’t focus on numbers as it can really get to you. As long as you enjoy what you’re doing I’m happy for you, I still watch occasionally and I’m really glad you’re back. Hope to see some cool stuff in the future

to me your'e one of the greatest content creators of all time, focusing on how the audience feels towards what you make rather than the size - creators should use you and jerma as examples on how to be a good creator
Although Carsons old content was a great way to introduce me to other internet personalities I enjoy now, it wasn't the entire reason I watched him back then. Carsons just such a funny and chill guy and I really appreciate all his content. He has this way of making anything entertaining and I was so relieved when he ended up coming back.

On one hand it sucks that Carson will never be the same again and he probably isn't going to film with his old friends again, but on the other hand Carson seems happy rn
dude i would pay so much money to see some old unreleased video of carson and his friends laughing like they used. things really don't feel the same anymore. Im glad that he seems to be happy tho.

If he was to come back with friends it would probably take time because if you have a friend who's done a really really bad thing its hard to forgive them let alone go back to how you were before
The thing tho is that if my friend did something like this (which isn't even that bad imo but i won't get into that argument) i would have forgiven him. There must have been something else going on in the background other than the public knowledge

he has been doing a lot better solo with his smaller viewership than when he tried to do solo content in 2020. his minecraft sub server is a small server with only around 100 - 150 people and it's super chill. no one treats him like a celebrity, they treat him like just a normal dude playing minecraft with them, and he said that he prefers it that way.
I definitely agree that he needs to do more of the same, because changing things up too much will likely lead to a mass subscriber exodus which will kill you in the algorithm. There's no chance of "replacing" your audience either imo. Just look at Bobby Burns who had 800k and who after drama changed up his style: with 600k subs now, a video he uploaded a week ago didn't even break a thousand fucking views
i think many people also forgot about him, since the controversy, only today i checked what happened. I think the reason those numbers are low is because only the real fans remembered him and didnt care about the situation and came back

This video seems to be before Carson's new friends but I think that they're really funny, Gavin, Asaii, Quacks, they're all really funny and Carson's videos have that charm back to them

Carson has definitely become a good example of how creators should handle allegations, proven or otherwise
No one ultimately looks at public apologies anymore as they are basically the same formula recycled over and over.
Carson basically said:

I don't want to waste your time,
I want to turn this into something better.
Talking about it would only cause more waves of confusion and questions specifically from newer fans, but completely ignoring would ultimately piss off everyone.

I mean of course he’s lowering numbers, there was controversy and other creators are too scared to collaborate with him again. I wouldn’t blame them either, given how toxic the internet can be especially when you rely on the same people to help you make a living. He’s made a tonne of money already and I believe he’s in a position where he can do what he needs to do to live and exist on the internet to entertain the people who’ve stuck around.
As someone who first hand has seen the effects groomers like Carson have on teenage girls I’m still incredibly disappointed that he refused to address the situation and still continues on with a dedicated audience of around 200k people. People keep forgetting that we don’t know the whole story and things were so bad that his close friends stopped associating with him despite being some of the most apathetic to controversy content creators out there. I’m sick of 14 year old band kids acting like they know more about this situation than the people involved

besides, we wouldn't need to since it's basically an open and shut case. He was at fault of it from the start, everyone (drama channels) and everything, INCLUDING CARSON HIMSELF exhibited the fact.
You don't need the full story if the culprit doesn't defend against the allegations. That just instantly proves that case. Additionally, that's just being inconsiderate to everyone involved. It's not just carson, but goop as a whole would be under fire for being involved

Exactly I use to be a fan but it pisses me off how he didn’t bother to explain himself and his actions he took no responsibility and gave so little info to his fan so they can have a non guilty conscious and defend his disgusting actions. We don’t know everything but theres a reason literally no one wants to associate w/ him anymore. Even mizkif who had him on stream one time after his return admitted that it was his biggest mistake when he knew more info.
