Among Us took UA-cam by storm in 2020, big channels such as PewDiePie, Dream, Corpse Husband and many more began uploading videos on the game. However after a while the game started to die out, and here's why.

The mobile update where you need to register your email to talk killed it since kids playing it doesnt know and cant talk in chat anymore and nearly the impostor always wins since you cant point out the imposter properly,before you point out the imposter from the quick chat the voting already ended

I agree with that the quick chat update ruined the game, but even before that it felt like it was slowly slowing down which makes sense everything does eventually, but yeah after the update it began the nose dive

During quarantine, it was a really fun online game. But as things started to get better and boring, it died.

Among us: Only 4 maps that are the same with the same tasks with a few extras
Truly some of the most wholesome streams of Among Us were done by the Oxboxtra channels teaming up with Eurogamer and Dicebreaker. English culture is based on ball busting as well so accusations and intense interrogations were almost always taken in jest as they were intended so no one actually took the anger and accusations seriously. Plus they are also good friends so the games they streamed were always funny, and entertaining but never mean spirited or viciously violent. I have rewatched those streams multiple times and over and always wished that they had done more of them.

Among us died cause of quick chat not many people know how to sign in
I mean I doubt many people wanted to have to sign in for basic chat and between how the changes were one step forward, two steps back, how the hackers took over and many of the rooms were filled with asses who kicked anyone outside of the toxic MHA roleplay rooms (I'm being serious here) or people never bothered to start the game.
No one bothered to play and no one liked the game since it went from using logic to just vote random in 15 seconds per hit.
RIP Among Us, you had the potential but fell flat. At least we have the mods for it like Game Toons and Ssundee keeping it alive.

If the game added a mysterious like feature (maybe rng) it can somewhat trickle down balance and give new and veteran players a more of a larger world to play in
The last time I played this game two years ago, and then when I came back to it I saw everything has changed and I said to myself: man the game isnt real among us.

The account and chat updates were because of bad government regulations.
part of the mean reason among us died was because it was too repetitive, the majority of the time people played it, they found they jumped on for a hour and every night they kept doing it they never got the chance to play as the imposter and they simply just got fed up with it.
i believe is even more simple,Among us got popular thanks to famous youtubers and also because everyone was on quarantine. it died because quarantine ended
That, and it brought out the most interpersonal toxicity outside of games like League and Warcraft. I malded once and almost threatened to un-alive myself since I swore my life on my word, which was ignored one round since everyone was over-talking each other

i am pretty sure among us died because of accounts and quick chat, usually a games fanbase kills itself over time but usually they devs wouldn't but this time they're at fault
I feel like accounts and quick chat are the main reasons among us declined. When the airship came out I was 12 and didn't know how to make accounts, then I left. 4 months later I learned how to do that and became a fortnite streamer. My channel failed, but about 5 months later in early 2022 I got back on among us. It was worse than when I left. Because now there are like, 3 different things you can be. And there's like 15 people in a lobby. The same reason games like Terraria and Minecraft declined, they got too complicated for all of us, the 10iq 9 year-olds

Among us died because of the horrible hacking, and “quickchat.” Once they added those 2 things i quited. Sad i used to poay game 2 years ago “2020” now it’s almost 2023. I wish among us didnt add quick chat.

Damn that's kinda sus ( jk), seriousy though I remember my older brother introducing me to the game in early august and I thought it was a really dumb concept but I just saw it boost as soon as October came around, I remember just spending like the whole evening playing among us and how exciting it would be when you would be an imposter but I had a buggy iPad at the time and the airship update just made it 10x worse to log on and actually play the game by the time all of these among us mods came around it just wasn't the same :/
