Definitely want to see the fabrication side, especially things regarding the rule book like gussets at certain points to consider when building or modifying a cage for ultra 4.
Merry Christmas from HB CA! My Dad retired and bought a place in Monarch Dunes where he enjoyed his last days.... Beautiful part of CA you live in! Maybe I'll see you at KOH
Cos you asked. Definitely more buggy coverage. I know what it's like to hit a roadblock with a big project and getting back into it is crucial for self satisfaction.
Is your MoHo roof skin aluminum or rubber? If aluminum, you may have electrolysis micro holes in the roof skin. If rubber, I would suspect the drip rails. Sometimes the butyl caulk under them shrinks and allows water to enter. Also beware of any seams where the front cap meets the main part of the roof. Did you strip off old caulk before you applied new? If not, that could be a problem depending upon what kind of shape the original was in. Roof leaks are the bane of almost every RV.
@@samwalker3441 rubber, and I went through all the seams 3-4 years ago when we got it, but clearly didn’t get it right. I made an appointment with a shop in March
@@Chasing518 Nice. Rubber would be superior to a worn out aluminum roof. Had one of those on a 96 version of a 24' Jamboree. What a nightmare that was. LOL. I hope that you get it solved. Nothing wrong with the older coaches. They just need a bit of TLC by someone who has a personal interest in the outcome.
Ok I’ve always thought using old motor oil would work But fear has kept me from it No I have a 2012 Dodge Ram with the Cummins in it Disclaimers acknowledged Would YOU?
@@brucea822 in a 2012, I would do more research, and would definitely filter it better first. I have heard some modern diesel have opacity sensors in their systems, so you might run into issues like that. To me, this seems like a practice best suited to old heui or mechanical injection diesels.
110.69% want to see the buggy/tubeframe custom fabrication side of things (as much as we love 7.3 content)!!!
@@jojo88898 😂 good to know!

On the Ultra 4 build work consider time lapse.

@@Altera_Industries so true!
Use Henry tropi cool on the roof of the camper . It will seal it up it's white and will last.
Check those clearance lights on your RV.
@@mikeaustin9765 great point!
Henry’s tropicool, a lot of van life / skoolie guys coat their roofs.. might be a good fix for now after caulking.. etc…
I say absolutely show it

Tell the daughter, if she helps with putting it together, when she gets her dl she can drive it to school.

Seems like you need a few friends to come by for a week and bust out a bunch on the race buggy like you have done for others...lol
