    You can also use dried Mulberries in the crust ( so you don't need to use so many nuts) . It looks SCRUMPTIOUS though. (I LOVED Key Lime Pie! I remember making it decades ago with ingredients including condensed milk, lime juice and a graham cracker crumb crust -besides the lime juice and lime zest.)
    Have you ever used Kuzu or Kudzu or Agar Agar for thickening and gelatinizing raw desserts or aspics? I'd love to learn how to use them for more things. So far I've just used them to thicken liquids.
    Also, will there be follow-up video so we can see how the Key Lime pie came out just before your room-mate ate it?

    Stopped eating pecans when I found spider webs on them. Reminder: just because it's in a package it doesn't mean it's clean. If it wasn' t you who used your eyes, carefully, and broke the shells yourself to get the nuts out, you might be eating things you never wished you did. That's also the reason I stopped buying greens in a bag. Ya know, the "triple-washed" stuff? Found coccoon of a worm with the dead worm inside. Oh but it was "tripple-washed". 🤣🤣🤮

      How long have you been fat free? How is your weight ? I have been fat free for 6 months already, don't know if I want or need to go low fat again, because I see this causing still issues for many and maybe Arnold Ehret is right, that still causes mucus but some high carb raw vegans with tons of juicy fruits and leafy greens, fasting regulary are eliminating those blocks well maybe...

      I was raw vegan since around 10 y now... I eat occasionally steamed veggies now and see some benefits from that too.
      6 moths is already a lot, be careful to not to detox too much though :)

    Just curious...you said that you use to make these all the time but you quit. What's the reason why? I'm raw whole food plant based as well and I've heard from others in this lifestyle that it's not good to consume this on a consistent basis but it's sooooo good. So I just wanted to know if that's your same philosophy?? And it's dope you know who Dr. Sebi is!!

      Because the fat you eat is the fat you wear. Also, can we eat raw walnuts? We need a hamer to crack the sheel. Almost impossible with our fingers. This is a sign nuts are not for us.

    • @Soul.7
      @Soul.7 Рік тому +1

      The EXCESS fat is ‘what you wear’ to be more accurate! A person eating walnuts, flax, chia, sunflower seeds, avocado, durian in healthy quantities (such as under 10%). AND cleansing, and detoxifying, and at their natural weight is not likely ‘wearing the fat’. Blanket statements are not universal and sound gimmicky - as punchy as they are.

    Personally I would need to strain my milk. Otherwise my brain would not register it as a milk. Simple is best, agreed. I also believe some might need to transition with things that might be more time consuming as in recipes, once a 30 day transition has been achieved most will feel more confident to and the taste buds have rebooted and it may feel more normal to them. For more of a visual I add Spirulina to the key lime and for thickening I use Irish Sea Moss gel. This way don’t have to rely on freezing for stiffness.

    • @innerview6298
      @innerview6298 Рік тому +1

      Darling could you share how much of sea moss are you using, does it affect the taste, how is the consistency? I don't have any experience with sea moss, but I'm willing to order, cause my partner has birthday soon, we are both raw 😘

      So my recipes call for a fourth of a cup for pies such as key lime. Smoothies 2 tablespoons is most I do. It is flavor neutral. If it has an oder then it wasn’t rinsed often enough. It truly is a great source many minerals and antioxidants promotes immune system, some say it helps lessen menstrual pains, helps with skin issues the list is endless. Blessings to you and happy experimenting.
