Dear candidates, This video is pure gold. Take it too seriously. 20 years ago, when I was fresher, I have three offers. 2 from big brands, and one from a startup. I joined a start up with almost peanuts in package. I joined because of they gave me my dream job profile. Since I was in love with what I was doing, I could perform really well. With in 2 years. I was promoted many times and ended up in the Technical Manager seat. My package was almost 3 times to my college mates. Moral of the story, as a fresher choose Job Profile not the package or company. I have many friends shares same story.
@@Curiosity4New Dear, first of all, these are not at all "Lower Branches" by any means, each branch is equally valuable, and to answer your question--- Yes, these students can join tech companies, if they can prove their tech skills in interview; infact you will find lot of people in tech companies from all these background... at the time of graduation students don't have much clarity so they chose any branch, but once they realise their interest, they change the career path, its very normal and is absolutely acceptable. So don't worry and put efforts towards your career of interest.. Hope this helps.. All the Best!!
Yes Ankit, just because a few companies have 60% criteria policy, it doesn't mean that you are any less capable... Have faith in your abilities and keep thriving!!
Mam im a cse 4th yr student i have only skill in making websites through wordpress and Im not interested in coding and im not good at coding can I get placed, if yes how. Please reply mam.
Hey dear, just put a search for website designers on Naukri or linkedin, you will get lots of Postings, read their Job descriptions carefully (for a fresher), now build your resume as per those skills, put those keywords in your resume, and if there is any skill which is constantly asked in all Job descriptions and you don't know that, then invest time in learning that. once you feel you everything required, put your profile on Naukri and Linkedin and also keep applying for jobs. Now the campus placements, you can get placed if you clear their interviews and on campus they majorly check the problem solving skills(approach to arrive at solution) more than the expertise on any technical skill, in that interview you can express interest towards web-designing. but don't mention that you don't like coding, the reality is , only 20% of the hired freshers are deployed in coding jobs, rest are put in semi-tech roles in companies, so chill and keep enhancing the skill that you love.

For a better job, start targeting your dream job/preferred companies or job early, network on Linkedin and follow the job related hashtags regularly, even the internships one, if there is an internship opportunity with a big brand, take it up, it will open doors for you, as for Intern, interviews are not that tough in comparison to a full time job. Networking and awareness about opportunities is the key. Its a journey, you cant get successful with one or 2 tips, keep learning everyday and make sure you don't miss on any opportunity, if you have inclination towards coding, participate in coding challenges and hackathons on various platforms... it will help you grow exponentially.. Yes dear, definately, IT companies are not filled with all smart, geeks, IITs or IIMs, there are def. more average people than you think... so be confident and start your journey.. Take care
Ma'am i am a 3rd sem CSE student and i want to pursue my career in datascience i know basics of c,c++ and python how would i prepare myself or what resume should i built to get a job as data analyst after my btech in campus placement without doing Mtech.Pls help ma'am.
Dear Anindita, MS Excel and SQL expertise is good enough to start as Data analyst. And if you want to get an edge over others, just learn any visual tool(Power BI or Tableau), there are many free resources available over internet. In you resume, make sure you project some kind of "Data analysis", eg: any analysis that you did for college project, where you analysed several data sets to arrive at a result.
Dear Nandhini, if you are good at oracle, my sql, then just learn excel and you will be good for a "data analyst" role, if that interests you, prepare your resume accordingly and apply

@@mohanr8009 CG in general is a good company. also It depends. 1. If you have another offer from a product company than join that. 2. if you don't have any other option than obviously joining CG is good move
