I have been tired of answering this peculiar question, "Tell me about yourself". This is excellent way to introduce yourself. I have 20years of IT exp. , most of the time Indian interviewer ask this question while surfing through your resume, but not the US interviewer. But as you said if you know the question in advance why not prepare it well.

I have explained in this how Freshers can have a rich resume/profile just like experienced people... Follow that and same thing you can use in describing yourself...
But mam I am a fresher 😕 mera pata nahi kya hoga 😭😢
But if you're a fresher then what to say. You have no experience, no industry exposure. Nothing. Then what to say. It's quite easy to pick up and frame this answer if you hold experience and job related expertise. What about freshers then. Freshers' quantity is higher than those of professionals. Make videos for freshers. They're dying to get a job.
