Kurt i liked more in the past. To some degree, He has become arrogant. He was hsrshly critisized by other vloggers for his behavior in cuba, and i think they are right. Kurt is still a "half German", and He cannot deny it.

The reason why so many men all over the world love Kurt is because they live vicariously through him. He is a courageous bad ass white South African dude documenting his solo travel experiences in the most inhospitable places in the world, inspiring his viewers that they too can explore the world independently. His courage and resourcefulness resonate with men who might be a little afraid to travel alone. He his living the dream that many men can only wish for.

What makes Kurt's content so great is that he doesn't go to the most beautiful countries and highlight all the good stuff. He goes to a lot of poorer countries and interacts with the average joe. He highlights the good in the ppl, but he also shows the bad. All the scammers, bad laws, crime, and even gets into some sketchy situations like the time he went to haiti and went through a voodoo ritual.

I 100% agree that traveling to escape/feel better wont work in the long run because all your problems will just catch up with you. You will get that sense of euphoria in the beginning but that quickly wares off & then you have to deal with yourself again. Just get your situation right where your at before you travel so you can truly enjoy it. Learn to love where your from as well.

I probably traveled to more counties and cities primarily for architecture, and though his travel purpose is different, his content allows viewers to appreciate places they may or may not want to visit and gives them further knowledge to decide to visit or not. His attitude and feelings towards all the pros and cons of traveling are fair. Must give major props for trying to learn many languages and giving proper respect to all he encounters. Would sincerely appreciate being his friend given the opportunity. Best of luck Kurt! 🥂😎

Whether you pay for girls or you don't in Medellin - you are still a sex tourist. Most chicks in Colombia are expecting a gringo to pay for everything and that is usually more expensive than buying a prostitute. Kurt also has many girlfriends in Medellin which are with him only because he is a gringo and has money. This type of dating is only possible in Colombia or Thailand. If he would have many girlfriends in Germany - that would be completely another thing. Also he is against OnlyFans, Sex Tourists and Passport Bros while he is doing exactly the same thing like Passport Bros taking advantage of young chicks that love gringos and money.

@@ZacJonesUA-cam Poor girls from the hoods would be happy to do anything for you if you can just take them to a regular restaurant. The girl sees a big opportunity there because maybe this is a guy that will take her out from poverty. All gringos take advantage of that which is very similar to just buying a prostitute. Take a girl out in Europe or the US - you will see a completely different picture, because chicks there can maintain themselves.

Kurt everything you said about Communism is true. I’m impressed with your experience and knowledge about Communism. You are the first young person I have ever heard commenting about Communism.
I like your podcast your views about other countries and I totally agree with you one hundred percent.
I enjoy your podcast and your manager for doing this interview. I hope young men out there will follow your advice especially when you’re traveling to other countries.❤😊

Kurt I appreciate your videos on Cuba. As a Cuban who fled, I’m grateful to be in the USA. That’s the sad reality of Cuba. Regarding the food, also a sad reality. Now if you want some good Cuban food, it’s not in Cuba, it’s Miami. Just because it’s not in Cuba it does not mean it’s not Cuban food :)

The strange feeling Kurt is speaking about comes from grinding from the bottom. Only some truly understand this unique feeling. It's amazing and sad at the same time. I explain it like this:
The old self never gets to enjoy the fruits of their labor. Just the new self that has a new fear of losing what that old self built.

Even Cuban food in Miami is terrible! 😜
I spent time in Accra Ghana and learned how to take a bucket shower and flush a toilet with a bucket of water.
I also experienced what you’re talking about, saving the smallest of things that we take for granted in the western world, like toothpaste and lotions
I noticed that french fries that we had not eaten been left over sat in the room for a couple of days because in Ghana, they don’t throw food away. Accra is growing but when I was there, there was a large slum.
Anyway, I can relate to your story about sharing leftover toothpaste from the hotel.
Thanks for this incredible interview and exchange with Kurt! ❤

I think people like Kurt for two reasons.
    1. He doesn't give in to fear. Walk down a dingy alley where the local cartel has their hangout? No problem!
    2. Girls. Most people trying to build success by showing hot girls tend to focus on quantity. Kurt focuses on quality, and I think a lot of the guys watch his videos so they can stare at his local gf for a half hour. Anna is stunning. 🤩

    Been watching this video.
I have commented on your space Martin and Kurts channel.
I watched the video of his safari trip with his dad and brother yesterday.
And I suspect most of his fans and certainly not his detractors, will not have watched it. It puts a lot into perspective as well.
I do a three week USA road trip every year and often my biological clock does not flip and I just keep going. Averaging 3-4 hours sleep a night. I come back home to rest. Kurt is one of those guys, able to just keep running on empty. I had a very high achieving manager years ago who was like that.
As always, as Kurt says, why click the link if you’re not interested. People can be such dicks.
Thanks for all you guys bring us sofa travelers
    Best for 2024

Refreshing to hear a man have an opinion about the sad plight of women(girls) getting sucked into the sex trade out of desperation. Instead of pointing the finger and judging them, pointing out that it's the consumer that need to make it stop. In Colombia there are young girls being groomed to seek out foreign men due to extreme poverty.

This was very informative, to get an insider's explanation of Kurt's background and somewhat of a back story of his upbringing. I was a bit shocked finding out he didn't come from a very wealthy, old colonial rich mining, landowning family in South Africa. I don't know why I assumed that off rip. I did know that he was very well educated because I was thoroughly impressed with the brief history lessons Kurt would give. For instance in Cuba, Venezuela and Vietnam Kurt gave some very in depth and informative synopses on each countries economic and political history of the last 50yrs or so, and all were given off the top of his head which was really dope as I am a huge history buff/nerd. Also his ability to Speak Spanish and Portugese so well was very impressive and led me to believe he was very left brained intelligent. Maybe that and the fact he is so well cultured and was traveling everywhere gave me the impression of vast familial wealth. But to find out that wasn't the case was intriguing. But his apparent knack for history and visiting cool places and like he said doing what other Young guys would do is really spot on and really resonated with me. Again, because I too not only like to visit new and exotic places, but also delve deep into a country's culture and how that place is a certain way and why. And that is done thru knowing the history and doing what the locals do and eating what the locals eat. And getting a real feel for a country is doing what the majority of the masses do, a glimpse into their everyday lives. Kurt does exactly this. He goes right to where the vibrancy of life is at its highest. He gets to know the everyday people. He is not afraid to embed himself in the favelas of Brazil or the back alleys of Havanna to find a cigar and it is this that speaks volumes of Kurt's character. And its really a huge reason why he is so loved and successful and recognized across the globe, and this is because he is always in the 'hoods' of these countries/cities with real REAL everyday people. For instance, in Caracas, he bought the homeless kid a hat, Nike socks and Jordan sandals. Like this was so rad!!!! I feel as though that's what I would have done if was traveling on my own....., but I was spoiled.... Even though the everyday people are also MY PEOPLE.......I happened to befriend two really wealthy classmates in college and when i met them i had no idea they were super wealthy because they are super humble and real and down to earth and i believe this because they ARE NOT wealthy Americans....they happen to be was my rich friends from uni, but unlike rich snobby Americans i know these two friends keep it real and can also comingle with the masses.... But anyways, i dont know how, honestly, anyone could even remotely think that Kurt was a drug addict. Beetlenut and coca leaves are not REAL drugs people lol!!! Again when Kurt does these things and goes on these adventures he is doing what the locals do, its more of a 'when in Rome' type deal. Also, I have travelled all around the UK , Europe as well as South America. I was lucky enough to go to the UK and South America with my wealthy friends I met in university and those friends were from England and Bolivia, respectively. Also I studied abroad one semester in Madrid... Anyways my point was, When was traveling, being a middle middle class kid from Boston who had never really really.traveled prior to those trips in and after college, so when I went, I had a this never ending supply of energy being in New and exciting places and maybe Kurt had some of that vibe too and some viewers misinterpreted that as being messed up. Or potentially jetlag could have to viewers falsely claiming he was on shit... Anyways I dig his content and the masses do too because Kurt is for the 'PEOPLE'!!!! I wish him continued success in all his endeavors and will be faithfully watching to see where he goes next!!!
