I think we need to stop and think before commenting sometimes. One of the saddest things about Carlos' life I think is the fact that when this video was initially posted, he was still alive. And so many comments were calling him a liar, or poking fun at how he looked, etc... And you know... at that point, the main thing Carlos had left in his life of value was basically his story. Imagine how depressing it is to have gone through ALL of his story in life, only to tell it and be accused by so many of having made it up. And then dying, not knowing the video would be reposted with the context of his murder, and ONLY THEN would most people listen to his story with empathy. Carlos, you story is not forgotten. Carlos was a product of his environment. Sadly, he didn't have a chance growing up with 2 addict parents. I say this as a teacher who has witnessed far too many children with problems because of their home life. Survival skills are all they know. These skills will lead kids down paths they never dreamed of just to get by. They get hooked and it is incredibly hard to leave. Rest in peace, Carlos.

Great quote. Really puts things in perspective. Being rich is an illusion. "For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul? For what can a man give in return for his soul? For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.” - Mark 8:36-38

Yeah but they only had the opportunity to go so big because the United States Allowed it. IN REALITY, yes they are very powerful but American Intelligence & Weapon strength could wipe them off the map, BUT! it would really ruin relations with Mexico. Ruining it's heritage, so We're just letting them do it to themselves. We could make Mexico look like another Japan 1945....and the cartels would just have to resort to their smaller factions around the globe but any business in the U.S and Canada would be close to nothing.
Men have a real crossroad in their life. The last one is around the age of 35-40. This is the time where you can focus on being a family man and letting go of the past life. Or only have 1 foot in and end of losing everything as a result of a street beef or another prison term. It is so imperative to not get involved in the streets to seek validation or think you are respected. You will end up with no friends or family. Eventually you will realize you were just a spoke in the wheel. Used and abused.

"What does it profit a man if he gain the whole world and lose his soul?"

My brother is a hugely successful and well known casting director on a first name basis with the most powerful and successful people in production as well as actors, singers and rappers. *His brother, on the other hand, has been used for casting couch tapes by some of the most famous women on earth that are traded to the most powerful media moguls in exchange for the careers you all see them with today.*
It's typical that this goes on when most of them are teenagers, but the legal women do it too.
The most famous female role models on earth are not the people the media has presented them to be, not even close. *I know the factual virginity stories behind their first times contrary to the lies they told the world because they've ritualistically used me.*

with all the heavy sighs throughout the interview you could tell his life was starting to catch up with him and or the regrets on his decisions/actions. its a real shame.....he didnt choose to be in it, it chose him and he just had to survive. i can only hope his ending was quick and painless.... RIP
And it wasn’t
@jorben1990 hmm .... IT wasn't? Why do I feel like cartel is all over this thread ?
@@angelajaramillo1644 they’re all over Texas, in plain sight.

My heart goes out to the amazing family who said- yes Mark put it back up - Now that is Strength 🧡 sending healing vibes to you all 🧡🇨🇦
This interview shows the severity of one’s upbringing by parents, friends, experiences, etc.
To me, it sounds like he truly never had a chance to live a free life from age 12.
How unfortunate.
I apreciate your format, large print and held long enough to read, curious how you decided to hold text that long. And why other editors are choosing short times.
It breaks my heart knowing that since he was a baby that he never had a choice and was forced to life his life like that.
He never got a chance to truly experience the beauty of life and love without being terrified all the time..
May his soul rest in ever lasting peace ❤️🩹
It's so hard to commit suicide. I have tried twice, i'm 60 now. I picked up so many bad habits hoping that eventually it would just happen. I believe it's why people who use drugs, use drugs. It's a form of suicide. He knew doing this interview would most likely get him killed.
Stay strong mate. I know that feeling its a battle.
That's powerful. Also I can relate with you on everything but age. I'm in my late 30s.
💯💯🙏
what happened to him?
@@chameleonsoule314fell out of a window
It’s the fact he was able to tell his thoughts right before, like the ending of a movie. RIP 😞
supposedly
The fact he got to speak his truth so close to the end😔 We look at gangsters, dealers & cartel members with so much disdain... but imagine having to take your parent's 'spot' to spare their life at the tender age of 12.
This is heartbreaking.
May he rest in peace.
His poor parents set him up from the day he was born to be in this life. And he died in that life. So incredibly sad 😭. Thank you for sharing his story Mark 🙏🏼
I'm a Marine Veteran..... No doubt this is a true story. People who know what true experiences sound like will know he's not lying. Anyway, The best place to hide is in plain sight. Of course the cartels are watching this video.... They're supposed to watch this video. If they think he's already been killed then they stop lookin for him. With him and his family in Jeopardy, especially his family.... Do people really think he's going to do an interview like this without the feds? Only two things could have happened. He's really dead and everything he says is 100% true.... or he used this interview to assist with his witness protection process. Dude won't just do an interview like this strictly on impulse... Obviously his family would be at risk.. maybe even Mark too. The feds knew about this interview. They might even have set it up.. Who really knows. What I do know is, he's got the 1000 yard stare same as a combat veteran
You being a Veteran has nothing to do with this. And people who know "a little bit" about this game know its not true. I could go on and on about why i feel this way. The only thing i will say to You is traffickers DO NOT travel to Mexico for their next loads, add to that with an undocumented 12 year old so He can look like a kidnapper too? As far as you saying "only two things could have happened" Wow, no one else but a Veteran could have surmised that. Thanks.
1000 yard stare? He has glasses on…
well being in the military or veteran, streets gangs, cartels, mafias n all that have similar lifestyles n ties together, not the same thing but a lot of similarities

He probably scammed mark for some money
“This is not the life I wanted, but I wanted to live.” The suffering this man must have gone through during his time on earth is unimaginable to me. His anxiety and paranoia, always looking behind his back. His soul is finally at peace now and he can rest without fear.
I can't even imagine what he was feeling exposing himself and his truth knowing his life would come to an end.......I've heard stories of the cartel but never really believed how brutal they were. It's scary to think about. He was a brave man for sharing his life. Thank you Carlos. Thank you Mark for this interview.
Wow! This hit me hard. I’m living it now.
So heartbroken for him and his family! And for so many that are forced into situations like this. I cannot remember exactly when I watched this originally but it had to be roughly a week ago. I was shocked by the sheer number of people calling him a fake. I didn’t look at the comments until the video was over but I never doubted him once while listening to his story. RIP Carlos….that boy that was basically never given a chance…and then to be called a liar! Shame on all of you! Prayers to his family…….may you find peace and safety. 🙏🏼❤️
crazy that if Mark had been just one week late on this interview, we probably would of never heard this story
Not necessarily. The interview is the reason he got killed when he did, he possibly would have had a few more years or even a decade if he decided to not do the interview
I was sad from the start. Great video, Mark.
This was so raw… the pace u told his life story… the breathing. When u mention he didn’t want this life but it would mean his dad died and then having his life extended when he took on more loads at that table 😢😢😢😢 his back has always been against the wall. RIP
It made me so sad to hear his story. Carlos didn’t have a chance from the start. That’s why it’s so important to be a ✨light✨ for our kids.
That can't be stressed enough!
We need to get involved with the kids in our communities and be the role models and support that they need so desperately. I’ve been working with teens for 25 years and I think there are so many that take them for granted. This kid didn’t want that life. He feared for his life. How awful that must feel.
People saying “put the speed to 1.25”, I get it’s not a fast going story but hearing his voice through his speed and motion makes it original. Don’t be impatient with a story like this.
To die at the table or to live the rest of your life in hell. What to do?
"There is never a time when a man cannot turn repentant to Me and , craving My pardon, receive it "from the book "God at eventide" ❤
Crazy eh
flip the table
i couldn’t face my death like that. especially at 17. i’m not even religious but god bless all of us for not having to make this decision.

How do you know he died ?
@@djtanikgotbeatz it says so in the beginning of the video, read the text on screen
@@oliviagrace9650It's most likely a fake death the witness protection did to give him a new life. Soft White Underbelly is trying to officiate his death to his former cartel that is actively hunting him. Use critical thinking instead of believing everything you see at face value.
Compelling testimony. RIP. Thanks for making this interview.
This interview was truly heartbreaking. For him and the innocent victims of his past crimes.
RIP Carlos and thanks for being open to share. No
more nightmares..
What doesn’t make sense is the protection agency allowed the interview. I mean maybe with voice alteration & body concealment.. (may need to be considered Mark) on the most part he incriminated himself more than anything.
😂
Maybe he just went against their rules or didn’t even ask, I wondered the same thing:o/
It's not like they get secret service levels of security, it's more like we'll change your identity, check in with us every couple of months kind of thing
I always worry about these ppl that share these stories. Very sad to see he was murdered. His parents failed him 😔 RIP
So did he really die or did witness protection go above and beyond to give him a new identity by "reporting" he was killed? Serious question.
We probably never know for sure. Only his nearest family probably know. But I think there is a reason they wanted this video up again. And they themselves are in danger for this reupload I guess
Great question
Things that make you go hmmmmm
Great point. The workings of Witness protection program are secretive so no one knows exactly the lengths they would go.
This version of him died, that's for sure. He may be living a different life in paradise, or in some foreign country
Life in a cartel is really a game of death. In Mexico, they're not just fighting among themselves, they also have the Mexican and US government to worry about. There is no way out of the maze.
RIP to Carlos.
I wish he could have gotten away before he got got
RIP ❤️
Mark i love what you do for man kind. You are truly gifted. But please as a mexican i know the dangers of this subject. No one goes un touched. So please just be careful man. Not saying you should be scared. But dont be over confident or careless. Keep up the good work
Its truggering because you was never meant to be in that life. Let your testimony free others. Rest well Carlos 27:11
He expected the Cartel to take care of his family. They didn't. He would not have flipped on them if they would have fulfilled their end of the deal. My thoughts.
I'd like to think you're right. But when facing so much time, I think any rational human being would talk. Anyone who says they wouldn't have never been in that situation or are a liar.
Exactly. People always talking trash about snitches just shows how ignorant they are. If they were facing 40 years or talk and be free same day thyd def talk i know i would lol@@sarkattack
@@hi-ic2nbAnd by free, you mean dead, so the choice isn't so simple as all that. Dead vs. 40 years. But not a quick respectful death I wouldn't assume.
He must've thought either he was hidden away well enough or he already had accepted that he would be caught up to and mutilated. Maybe a person can almost feel like they deserve it after doing those things themselves, who knows? Not me. I have no business even commenting except to say 'free'? No. Not free.
