I have so much to say but I’m gonna try and keep it to a minimum. I) I have this calendar. I limited my self to two calendars this year and the other one was only a 12 day calendar. I think I exhibited some self restraint. There were others that I wanted also. 2) I am wearing Angel Wings RIGHT NOW!!!! I dipped into last night actually. It is so pretty, soft, delicate, I could go on and on. It’s a one note mani, but im loving it. 3) when I saw the title of your video today running errands, I was so excited. I was hoping you were going to use AW. I think I squealed every time you mentioned it. Lol. Yeah, I’m that lame. 😂😂😎😎 4) at first I was a little disappointed with the calendar. I think honestly I was expecting a few dips to be Christmasy. CNDD posted their video of the advent calendar on IG the other day, and then I fell in love with it. I think I couldn’t see the forest through the trees. When you fanned out all 25 swatches, it was awesome to see them all together. I still have my dips in the calendar, which the packaging is A++ imo. I’m gonna stop here. TFS!!! Oh and congrats on the ambassadorship!!!
Thank you Jenn! I definitely had some others I was interested in as well! In the end I’m glad I stopped at the two. 🥰 Angel Wings is just the best isn’t it!? I really wanted to use it but I just wanted to try something new. I know some people felt as you do about the calendar, and I really do understand. Not everyone loves the same things, so making a calendar that everyone loves is pretty impossible. I honestly couldn’t say whether I like this years or last years calendar better. There are dips I love and a few I don’t love as much in both. But overall I’m pleased with both of them. So I don’t know. I’m happy I bought this, and love almost all of the dips, but I can also see why others don’t. I think ultimately that’s the beauty of later being able to grab them as individuals. I think for me the joy of getting to open them every day outweighs any concerns that I might like one or two. Thanks for sharing all your thoughts and experiences my friend! ❤️❤️❤️

Congrats! ❤ I finally decided to make a spreadsheet with my dips since my handwritten notes were a mess. I have more CNDD dips than any other. I loved the calendar too!
Same girl same! 😂 I gave up with the notes, I just go by what’s on my swatch rings. But then again I’m not buying many dips these days. Mostly I just am featuring new ambassador collections and trying to use what I already have. But the calendar will always be a free space! 😁 Thanks Denise! ❤️❤️❤️

I'm a bit surprised bc they have SO MANY gorgeous colors online and I feel like there were so many blues which might be my least favorite color lol, but I guess thought there would be more variety? Either way I love advent calendars and I need to start saving up so I can afford these....in 11 months lol
I heard some other folks say that too, and I get it. There were definitely a lot of blues in this one! I do agree that last year’s had a bit more variety. I definitely think there’s an argument for waiting for the individuals to become available. Advents and subs are always tricky for me. I’m really picky about what I get and I don’t like the not knowing. I am happy with both years calendars I purchased but I know it’s always a gamble and there will likely be some I don’t love as much as others. ❤️❤️❤️
Which part, the nail tips or the builder gel? Actually you dont have to remove either each manicure if you’re using peel base. If you’re not you’d file off your color and smooth over the tips and dip again. You can fill the tips with builder gel after they grow out some, for about 4-6 weeks depending on the tips. I never remove the builder layer underneath, and I only take off the tips when I want to change them out.
I love CNDD and they are one of my favorite companies, but I was soooo disappointed in this box. I don’t like mermaid colors, teals, blues/blurples and I feel like half of the box was this color scheme, and I should have just waited to purchase the individual colors. I ended up only liking the final four. I don’t think I will purchase this in the future and I will wait and only purchase the colors I like because 125 dollars for four colors is very expensive. I threw away 12 of the dips since I don’t like clutter.
Aww I’m sorry Yovi! I totally get it. Honestly I’m usually very picky with “surprises” like calendars and subscriptions because I’m almost always disappointed. So I don’t buy them much. I’ve been lucky to have liked most of the calendar dips both years, but I get they aren’t going to be everyone’s jam. Sounds like you’ve got the right idea waiting for the individuals. I don’t like clutter either, but next time I would try to sell them on a BST page so you can at least recoup some of your money. There were definitely a lot of “mermaid”-y colors this year, you’re right.
