You're right - it's an amazing tone! I will now try to recreate it on my Helix

Great lesson. Figured some of this out in amplitude and I am just learning guitar amps.

Very good. I haven't tried this on anything but the Fractal and the Kemper. I could get it one both with a little tweaking. Thanks for the comment my friend.

Yeah dude. That album is amazing. I mean what a turn from Zepplin....and to come out with such a powerful and musically emotional album.

Thanks, Trace - it works with Helix and a little tweak too. It's definitely worth a few bucks 🙂

Thanks my friend. You support is always, always appreciated. By the way. How do you like that Helix. I bought one before I bought the Fractal and really struggled with it....but I know they have put out a tone of updates for it since.

@@TraceTaylor3 I like the Helix very much. I currenly have two Helix Floor and I got the first one in January 2016 so I am very invested in them. I am comfortable programming them, but I would like to try something else like the Fractal, Headrush, Neural, Kemper or even the Fender to compare. But, because I've had the Helix for so long, I hate the thought of redoing all my presets. What I especially love with the Helix, is that Line 6 is constantly keeping it current with new updates, and I've never had any problems with the hardware in any way. However, I think it would be time for a version 2 of the Helix soon as the technology have evolved quite a bit since 2016 🙂

@@Morstad64I get that. I was a diehard amp dude and then bought the Helix and just could not get a sound out of it that was pleasing to me....for my particular tone. I went to a Kemper which I loved. The amps are amazing and since I have gotten rid of mine they have done so much to it....kind of wish I would have hung on to it. I was out talking to Andy Wood....if you don't know him look him up. Crazy, and I mean crazy good guitar player. He and I were chatting about Steve Vai when the Kemper came up and told me to check out the Fractal. I was blown away. The amps are as good as the Kemper....or at least 99%.....but the effects are insane. They are literally studio quality which is what made me make the jump. I got an FM3. Was on the list for the FM9 for a year and finally just let it go. If I upgrade it will be the FM9 or the AxeFX. Once you get the hang of setting up the Fractal it is easy....but the kemper is literally like dialing in an amp and the easiest of all of them.

@@TraceTaylor3 It's hard to keep up with all the latest tech, but I think I would go for the FM9 too, if I were to switch modeller, and if it were easy to get them here in Europe. However, they are a bit too expensive in my opinion and a nightmare to buy.

@@Morstad64Usually you can find used Kempers at a good price. And don't get me wrong....with all the updates kemper has dropped out....I wish I would have kept mine. And one huge, and I mean huge advantage to the kemper.....endless power on all models. You can build any thing you want and never crash the CPU like you can on a Fractal. I had patches in my Kemper that I cannot replicate fully because I keep bumping the CPU. That never happens in a Kemper. They way their architecture is built you can make whatever you want with as many effects as you want and never hit the limit. That is why you have to buy the more expensive fractal units. The sounds are all the same....you are just buying the ability to do more.
