Yeah bro the survival videos are sick. It brings a real authentic feel to things. Esp. when you are teaching some newbies and the pressure is on. You have a good teaching style and it is warming to see you invest in younger blood. That is an experience they won't forget.

Good okude catch & cook. Rule No. 1 in spear/fishing never clean your fish in the Hawaiian ocean, unless you want to be bitten by a puhi. I learned it the hard way when I was a teenager, now scarred for life. Luckily, I was far from the shore in a tiny tidepool when the puhi swallowed my pinky instead of the kole. Shredded my finger like your uku. Tight lines

Love your videos man makes me miss living there so much ! 😭! But I’d never night dive their again. Two of went for a night dive off k bay the second time out we had a monster tiger shark follow us all the way in. He definitely wasn’t curious he got way to close. Honestly it was the scariest moment in my life.

diving off puako and saw guy cleaning his speared catch on the rocks but had his feet sitting in the water. Gnarly viper eel swam up the chum line and chomped on his foot. 26 stitches, nasty wound. Always remember that and will never clean em waterside like that.

Yes it’s impressive that they were able to shoot those fish with what little gear they had, but it’s also disrespectful of you Ryan to be even taking these tourist to sacred zones that us locals hold deeply too our hearts as there are not many places like it. The fish there are tame like no other, you know that you as a guest to this island and zone, that you should not be taking these people there knkwing what liytle knowledge they have of the place also. im not trying to hate or anything, its very disrespectful of you to do tho, too my family and to the people that call this place home 👊🏽
