Yeah, around the airport on Van Buren and Washington is considered the hood, but most the homeless are around Madison and 10th ave....The police harass the shit out of the homeless and round them up into specific areas....The most ghetto places I know were in the Maryvale area of Phoenix,...there's this gas station and Mcdonalds on 51st ave and Mcdowell that was always fun...

You're about 20 years late. This neighborhood has been mainly knocked down. This was one of the main Heroin distributing neighborhoods called the Milpas, nothing but Heroin addicts and people coming from everywhere to buy Heroin powder coke. It was bad . We're talking about the early 70s til about the early 2000s, 18:45 then the city of Phoenix knocked down a lot and most of all the houses .

11th Street and Mohave is a neighborhood that has been bought out by the city. It's not there anymore. Go to 32nd St and Van Buran, that's more hood in Central East Phoenix
27th Ave west Van Buran ,Central west Phoenix . There's too many different hoods in Phoenix to count from . You are on the east side which is being redeveloped from old too new.

You were really close to some gang affiliate neighborhoods like 12st and mojave is Los Cuatro milpas (LCM) and 20th st and Roosevelt is dupa Villa projects(DVP) or Garfield Gang.On East Phoenix is not like other states that u think ppl will be chilling outside the streets selling or drinking everyday like Cali or New York. I live on 32st and Roosevelt an back then it was crazy and now there times we hear gun shootings that it nothing to crazy but if u go and visit 27th ave Indian School u might see some action...lol
