- The Maya Toolbelt by Michael McKinley
A bit of a long one going over all three Birail Tool types: Birail 1, Birail 2, and Birail 3+. The basics of each are explained in the first 10 minutes or so, with all of the options being explained after that. Hope you enjoy!

Than k you very much i couldn't be happier to find your videos, they are the most valuables tools to learn maya. Thank you for the effort. God bless you. But My snap to curve doesn't seem to work maya 2014, what can i do?
Chris Bweezy 2014 is a buggy mess. Look up at the magnet icons and make sure none are toggled and hold v to snap to whatever you're on.
Hey, I'm using Maya 2016 and the Birail Tools doesn't work, even with the curve intersecting...
how to change from proportional to non-proportional after making the birail in maya 2016..
wellborn winter I don't currently have 2016, but I would think the option should be somewhere in either the Channel Box or the Attribute Editor. In the version I'm currently running, it's found in the Channel Box.
My snap to curve doesn't seem to work maya 2014
+Chris Bweezy Because Snap to Curve can be tricky to do, I made a video going over it here: ua-cam.com/video/2-BSA6OeXRo/v-deo.html. Hope it helps!
Thank you very much. I found it. I really appreciate the effort you put in these videos, i found your method very consistent and useful. Now i'm confident to know a least how to use most of the important tools in Maya
what are some reasons no surface is appearing? I have no error message but nothing is happening
the curves are not snapped
maya curve snap stinks people just wish to snap ends cvs and LOCK them so they can move both ends without the resulting nurbs surface disappearing,
ie like every other nurbs program, BUT maya persists in the 1990s SLOW method ie do fuck all for 20 years plus...so maya NON parametric breaks again
"Because Snap to Curve can be tricky to do" NO ITS CRAP CALL IT CRAP TELL THEM TO FIX IT, needs to be like poly snap vertex to vertex with a lock option
