  • Since UFE is one of those procedures which takes months to see the full effects, many women are left unsure if their periods will be just as bad as before UFE or worse. I was one of those women unsure if my period after UFE would be horrible. Watch this video to see how my very first cycle was almost 1 month after UFE.

    Omg, thank you so much for being so transparent and honest. The whole 2 pads thing at night and STILL soiling the sheets is so real and it makes you feel self conscious being a grown woman still having these issues. Women are not talking about this kind of thing so you feel so alone and embarrassed. Thank God for you sharing your journey!

    Just found your channel and I just wanted to say that's it awesome seeing some light at the end of the tunnel for you! I just had a MRI concerning my fibroids (had a failed Myosure last October) and am weighing my options between a myomectomy/UAE....still unsure- but it's nice to hear from someone who's been through it!

    I’m on my 3rd period after UFE, prior my periods were extremely painful but extremely light or I would not have my period for months. No i don’t have major cramps anymore which is great but my periods have been very heavy since ufe. They have become slightly lighter every month since but heavier than what I’ve been used to. Not sure if this is normal. Anyone gone through this?

      Anne Don’t be. I had a terrible male primary care doctor that worried me and made me fret way more than I should have. He put so many negative thoughts in my head. Had to rebuke him. Anywho lol, don’t entertain thoughts of things that you can’t control. Focus on the outcome you want. Post op...🥴 first day the anesthesia Was still wearing off I couldn’t even raise my arms, straw fed. If you can please have someone patient who love me you to be there you are going to need help. I’d never lie to you lotsss of pain, like tons. I had a hand held clicker that released morphine every 8minutes when I needed it. Day two still painful. Core is needed to do a lot so it will be difficult to be in bed. They took the catheter out, I had to get up to walk to the bathroom. Couldn’t do it without help felt like Bambi. But walking is crucial to avoid complications. Day three, more strength. Every day you gain more strength back. I walked around very slowly on my own on painkillers by mouth every four hours. Released from hospital. I am six days post op. Yesterday I felt like poop and spent 89% of the day in bed. Today I am around walking. Stomach hurts after eating. First bowel movement today. Oh the biggest thing YOU CANNOT LAUGH!!!!!😱 Laughing hurts more than coughing and coughing feels like murder. I bursted into tears when I did for the first time. You have to cough tho to avoid pneumonia. Press a pillow into your abdomen when you need to do either. Yours could be easier than mine never know depends on the circumstances. Fourteen fibroids were removed from me, the doctor found endometriosis and I had to lose a filopian tube. I was cut down from the belly button because of their size and to reduce blood loss. I hope this helps. If you have more questions you can DM me on IG:lsdivine1. Take care 🤗

    I need someone to talk to. I'm feeling so down. I'm in nurse residency program and my 12th week. Suddenly my liaison and managers are switching me to a different track/ floor because they think I'm lacking in basic nursing. They want me to train in rehab. They feel I am not progressive at the pace I need to be at. My preceptor were cool but I do need more patience. I am trying to not take it personal but I'm so upset and feel rejected.

    • @veryvanessa
      @veryvanessa  4 роки тому +5

      Take this opportunity to learn and master your skills. Sometimes things don’t turn out as we envision them but rest assured everything happens for a reason. Nursing is so broad that there are many specialties and places to work. Where you may be skilled in one area you may lack experience in another. Doesn’t take away from the fact that you are a nurse. Own it and do the best you can each day!

      Madia Autrey yes! Start taking smooth move tea from day 1! The constipation pains were BAD. Also make sure you have some support at home for the first week. No bending, lifting or straining yourself.
