    Great warm up. Finding it a bit difficult to hit the lower notes coming down with the gee exercise...what am I going wrong ?And is it okay while doing that to go from chest to head voice while going higher ?

    • @johns8596
      @johns8596 6 місяців тому +1

      If your having trouble coming down, which I did too years ago. Its basically the same as where you started from. But I was going so high I would sometimes crack or be out of key on the way back to the bottom.
      Remember to be mindful of your placement as it changes and breath support.
      I was using chest with a little mix blend of head voice at times.
      The E vowel is imo the hardest one to work with also.
      A lot of singers will mix the vowel sound to get it higher. Change it slightly, you have to have an ear for it but you can catch them.
      When I hear someone hit the pure E vowel sound very high. I say well done.
      You can try a scale that starts with another vowel first and blend in the E.
      Like Ewww = u sound
      Ewww Ewww. Then use the E vowel.
      So like Ewww ewww, E-E-E

My throat tightens considerably and it feels somewhat painful. Should i be stopping before any discomfort? is this then my current (healthy) range? Thanks a lot for this amazing content!

      All excercises, here im this video all of them he is showing, are tremendous and positively on strengthening the muscles that activate how your vocal chords close and as a result you will move into registers easier, it is about time only to be patient and not overdo and follow directions, and you will see a change.Remember not all exercises are good for everybody we are all different if you see not any level of positive changing look for a local vocal coach whom you can start on the right track

      If you are a bass or bass baritone, you have the choice to start a lower octave or stop right at the point you feel you can not reach and restart from zero. This scale could be as well functional for women depending on what octave or note you use as a starting point. If you are not understanding this, ask someone else that knows about music to guide you on how to be able to do that. It is something simple you can not miss and has to deal with as a singer. The starting point of this scale is around notes everybody can sing, if you can not go higher than that sing the note in a lower scale. As you practice you'll see how you are able to extend and reach notes lower or higher

By that, I mean they don’t have to be better than you or their students to effectively train them to sing better. Just as many incredible singers would likely not make great vocal coaches. Have you not heard Michael Jackson’s vocal coach? This video is targeted to those who already have a moderate to well developed singing voice. Now if you can only sing like let’s say Lana Del Rey or Adam Levine (just an example) you would still have other areas to work on before jumping to this.

    any real vocal warm ups to sing on pitch? I see that most of the singers also among those who tries to share their experience on youtube singing out of key. They simply just don't hit that A or that D or that E whatever they sing it is 15 -20 cents mostly below, sometimes above the right pitch. Whenever you ask a teacher on how to sing on pitch, he just gets rid off you with something like "oh you have to sing into your mask" or ... "better breathing" or... any other whimsical idea or trick that simply doesn't help at all. And on opposite I see a lot of "self-taught" guitar player or piano player that sings correctly on pitch without "ma ma ma" or "nay nay nay" even didn't heard of SLS or other fancy things on this crazy planet.... And if you turn on your TonalEnergy or any other pitch analyser you'll be amazed how precisely they hit the tones, yeah with lack of technique and not belting on high E like Freddie, but still singing on pitch.... So do you have any ideas on that? Thanks in advance!
