    Glenda… Stitch of the Week is my favorite series…I love it!
    Red Heart Fav Stripes is my go to for anything I want to be colorful.. I just finished a wave like Chevron small throw, using thus yarn. The little blsnket looks great.
    I was happy to see the Speedy. Ripple Stitch….it looks great, and I want to try it… oh..I shouod mention thst I am doing a series of Chevron/Ripple blankets…mostly in self striping yarns…but not always
    Thank you for the time yiu put in to teach us so many great stitches, and patterns…
    Sandy, from Cincinnati

    Thank you so much for this tutorial, I played it over and over again until I got it. I am now able to crochet your “Over the Rainbow Blanket without having to start over. What really helped me was when you said, “Play special attention to the beginning of the row and the end of the row, or…” At the beginning of Row 3, I was working 2 double crochets in between the 3rd and 4th stitches, instead of 1, the same with the end of row 3, I worked 2 double crochets between the two posts in the 4th and 5th posts instead of 1. 🙏🙏🙏

    Wow, I am impressed! I am in my late 70es and been crocheting since I was in elementary school in Germany where it was required that all girls had to learn how to crochet, knit, embroider and sew. Your tutorials are very precise with closeups for those that might be new to crocheting. I came across your channel by accident and I am glad I found it! 👍😊

    This is fantastic. You couldn't get any clearer with your instructions. Your not in a hurry like other tutorials I have watched. I do a single crochet ripple that my 95 year old aunt taught me when I was a child and this double crochet is a delight to learn. Thank you for being so meticulous in your instructions.

    I love this pattern! I just started it last evening in the same yarn! It is really pretty. I'm still struggling a little bit with my ends and ended up with too many groups of two at the end of one row so I'm going to have to frog just a bit to find my mistake. I couldn't do it without the video because I am definitely a visual learner even though I have been crocheting for years. Patterns confuse me! Thank you so much for your videos and step by step instructions. I watch all of your videos and have created several projects from them!!

    I love this pattern, but was wondering if I could just dc,dc,ch2(instead of three) dc, dc in the peaks. It would make the hole smaller and shouldn’t change the stitch count because it’s being done in the space, not the stitches. Just a thought. What do you think?

  • @widwid1852

  • @gj9736
    @gj9736 Рік тому

    How many skeins of this particular yarn would you need to make an Afghan with this stitch? The reason I am asking is that if you don’t have enough and buy more later on you might not be able to get the same dye lot anymore. So for a Afghan of approximately 50X60 how many skeins?

    A tip… I screen shorted each important step… I keep a file of my Chevron/ripple patterns in NOTES. Each pattern is labeled CHEVRON, so they will all come up at once.
    Each has pics of the finished stitch, or pattern, notes on multiples, the basic pattern…whuch csn often be reduced to just a few lines….etc…
    This time I inckuded pics of steps I know I will want to reference.
