Glenda… Stitch of the Week is my favorite series…I love it! Red Heart Fav Stripes is my go to for anything I want to be colorful.. I just finished a wave like Chevron small throw, using thus yarn. The little blsnket looks great. I was happy to see the Speedy. Ripple Stitch….it looks great, and I want to try it… oh..I shouod mention thst I am doing a series of Chevron/Ripple blankets…mostly in self striping yarns…but not always Thank you for the time yiu put in to teach us so many great stitches, and patterns… Sandy, from Cincinnati
i actually bought 4 rolls of this today! and then i decided i wanted to learn zigzags like my mommom used to make for me! im so happy to see you using the same color!
Thank you so much for this tutorial, I played it over and over again until I got it. I am now able to crochet your “Over the Rainbow Blanket without having to start over. What really helped me was when you said, “Play special attention to the beginning of the row and the end of the row, or…” At the beginning of Row 3, I was working 2 double crochets in between the 3rd and 4th stitches, instead of 1, the same with the end of row 3, I worked 2 double crochets between the two posts in the 4th and 5th posts instead of 1. 🙏🙏🙏
Wow, I am impressed! I am in my late 70es and been crocheting since I was in elementary school in Germany where it was required that all girls had to learn how to crochet, knit, embroider and sew. Your tutorials are very precise with closeups for those that might be new to crocheting. I came across your channel by accident and I am glad I found it! 👍😊
This is fantastic. You couldn't get any clearer with your instructions. Your not in a hurry like other tutorials I have watched. I do a single crochet ripple that my 95 year old aunt taught me when I was a child and this double crochet is a delight to learn. Thank you for being so meticulous in your instructions.
It's amazing that there are different patterns for the ripple stich, I'm making a blanket using 27 stitches in a groups, and your is a group of two double stitches
Evening Creative Granny~Thank God you show a quick & formidable pattern. So glad I found you. Keep them coming. Your very precise and soft voice...loving the colours, too. Thank you so much mrs. ana
this is georgous I love it...thanks again for sharing with us...I've never made a ripple in this stitch before so again another great pattern I'm excited about doing...
WOW I have loved the ripple forever but could not quite grasp the pattern...Until NOW.....thank so much for being so patient and helpful....You are GOOD!!!!
It's a simple v stitch ripple Afghan. Super pretty colors. I made one 2 years ago in 3 colors lol. My daughter's favorite color is purple so its light and dark purple and white. Love this color changing yarn your using.
I love that bright colored stripe yarn that you are using. I have always enjoyed working ripple patterns in crochet and in knit. Thanks for your videos.
A big thank you Glenda, I love a good ripple and this one looks fabulous. Btw it was a lovely surprise to see you 'live', it looked like you both had fun presenting.
I love this pattern! I just started it last evening in the same yarn! It is really pretty. I'm still struggling a little bit with my ends and ended up with too many groups of two at the end of one row so I'm going to have to frog just a bit to find my mistake. I couldn't do it without the video because I am definitely a visual learner even though I have been crocheting for years. Patterns confuse me! Thank you so much for your videos and step by step instructions. I watch all of your videos and have created several projects from them!!
I love this pattern! I am making a corner to corner blanket with the same yarn! I have 4 more to make and I need to decide what patterns to use. This could definitely be one of them. Thank you for being such a thorough and patient teacher!
Thank you for posting all of these different stitches. I am relatively new at Crocheting and enjoy it immensely. You are the best teacher I found, very easy to follow.
Hi Glenda! Thanks again for great pattern. Love your pattern writing style. Well written n easy to follow. Hooking into spaces rather than stitches is sooooo fast! I’m using worsted weight from stash, so mine will be colorful! Lol
Love these colors ! Thanks I will get to more stitches thanks so much. Even my little one understand s your teachings. You are slow and clear helps to remember the stitches 🤗
Thank you for this tutorial Creative Grandma! I have been looking for a ripple stitch to make a shawl and here it is! I can't wait to try it! You saved me time and effort! Thank you thank you!!! 😚
I'm slowly working on a traditional ripple Afghan. If I wasn't already on my 4th caron cake in I'd frog it and restart with this pattern. It's so much faster working between stitches. Love it.
Hi, I really appreciate how you took the time to create three samples of the same stitch. That is awesome sauce👋🏿. Your samples really inspire projects. Thank you‼️‼️
I love it! Thank you. This is a stitch I feared learning until now. I'm still fearful of the ending stitches. I will have to watch a few more times for my confidence. As always awesome tutorial!
Hi! I’m Robin and I’m new to your channel. I love this pattern and, the colors in the third one. I’m enjoying your stitch of the week and all of your patterns. Great teacher!
This should be called the speedy extreme ripple, I have never worked one with such extreme peaks and valleys! I love it!! I'm doing an afghan with 10 repeats. Wish me luck! Lol using premier sweet roll, colorway mint swirl. My sons fave color is green. Will post on FB when done.
Thank you so much for all your beautiful work, I have made several. However, I don’t understand why you chained 3 at the beginning and chained 2 for the rest. I hope to make a larger one. I just finished watching row one. Maybe I should have waited for the other two rows but I am crouching with you.
Hi Glenda!!! Happy Cinco De Mayo!! Love this one!! I am "studying" for today's chat! Hope I can type fast enough to win something!! I use my cell and not that good at typing/texting as our younger generation can! Lol!! Can't wait!!!! 😇❤️
I love this pattern, but was wondering if I could just dc,dc,ch2(instead of three) dc, dc in the peaks. It would make the hole smaller and shouldn’t change the stitch count because it’s being done in the space, not the stitches. Just a thought. What do you think?
How many skeins of this particular yarn would you need to make an Afghan with this stitch? The reason I am asking is that if you don’t have enough and buy more later on you might not be able to get the same dye lot anymore. So for a Afghan of approximately 50X60 how many skeins?
I work at night ! Wow this was fun upon coming home my granddaughter layed four squares we learned from you into the spots in curves . It's beautiful . If I can figure out how to send u a pic I will. Thanks
If you chain 118, to start the second section do you start back over from where? I hope I am asking question right. In other words at end of 59 what do you do next? Thanks for any help you can give. I really love this pattern.
A tip… I screen shorted each important step… I keep a file of my Chevron/ripple patterns in NOTES. Each pattern is labeled CHEVRON, so they will all come up at once. Each has pics of the finished stitch, or pattern, notes on multiples, the basic pattern…whuch csn often be reduced to just a few lines….etc… This time I inckuded pics of steps I know I will want to reference.
I love the way you go slow and have a close view for us to see. Also, like it that you have free written patterns.

I LOVE that you display 3 different yarns in the same project. I have little imagination and this really helps me. THANKS!!!

Like the way teach showing the stitches. You make it easy to follow

Thank you so much for all your beautiful work, I have made several. However, I don’t understand why you chained 3 at the beginning and chained 2 for the rest. I hope to make a larger one. I just finished watching row one. Maybe I should have waited for the other two rows but I am crouching with you.

Hi, I love your stitches and the way you explain. I have a question. Do you edge this afghan or you leave it without?
How many skeins of this particular yarn would you need to make an Afghan with this stitch? The reason I am asking is that if you don’t have enough and buy more later on you might not be able to get the same dye lot anymore. So for a Afghan of approximately 50X60 how many skeins?
Thanks for these videos. Can you please show us how you would end with a straight edge after the ripple stitch?
I work at night ! Wow this was fun upon coming home my granddaughter layed four squares we learned from you into the spots in curves . It's beautiful . If I can figure out how to send u a pic I will. Thanks
Hi
I'm Mona from Jordan
It's grate stitch
I know it's it from you're website
This would be great using my scrap yarn stash
If you chain 118, to start the second section do you start back over from where? I hope I am asking question right. In other words at end of 59 what do you do next? Thanks for any help you can give. I really love this pattern.
I am making afghans for the homeless and this is a pattern I can do quickly so I can make many. Also brother said he wants 1 like this.
TheLightbright01 When making afghans for the homeless, I make a large picket with straps so afghan can be folded up and worn like a backpack.
That should read pocket, not picket. Oops!😁
