I agree there is nothing wrong with a male doing crocheting or knitting in fact there are two different men that do UA-cam videos for crocheting and knitting that I watch and they are very helpful. Be your own person!!!!!
I love how you always do the different swatches so we can see what the stitch looks like in solid, variegated and multiple colors. It really makes a difference with certain stitches!!
I have been anxious to do the ripple stitch but I could not find a pattern that I felt would work for me. This pattern I believe will work out. Can't wait to start. it.
would i have loved to see this when i was just starting, you explain the basic skills so much easier than how i learned. i am finally getting into pattern crochet and yours are all beautiful
Crocheting scared me for about 10 years the patterns made no sense and I couldn't get nice even loops so I let it go... Now I found this video and it makes it so understandable and you explain it so patiently so I gave it a go! Thank you so much!
I'm so thrilled with this video. I'm your age but you just reminded me of my grandmother. This is the way she taught the ripple stitch to me when I was a little girl. (3 into one stitch/skip over 2) and it's been impossible to find it like this on the internet. A lot of times for the peak of the hill they'll add a chain or do something different. I remember the pattern my grandma taught me but still wanted to read or watch it again so thank you because this is it. Thank you again for your tutorials.
So happy you did this. I am doing your single ribbed stitch for my temp blanket and I want to make one for my daughters 1 yr. having a hard time deciding what stitch well that all has changed. This will be it thank you thank you!
You do such a great job, repetition is the key to learning anything, and you go over the stitch pattern several times, even as a more advanced crocheter I appreciate the way I can easily recall how to perform a stitch I learned from you! I’m sure new crocheters feel so confident in their projects after following along with you! God bless Glenda for your tireless teaching.
Wonderful stitch pattern, I always look forward to the "Stitch of the Week" tutorials and seeing your samples. Thanks for sharing. Respectfully, Donna K.

Hi, I am enjoying this pattern and making a baby blanket in gray white and yellow. I am looking for a lightweight yarn for a baby blessing blanket. I’m looking for something lighter weight than a 3-D K yarn. Maybe a sport weight or number two. Could you help me out with suggestions?
Beautiful . I’m fairly new st this . About how big should a baby blanket be . It’s a gift for a great niece . I’m not use to baby sizes. Could you please help .
