I like this pattern. It works up nicely and is a great stitch to use when making a gift for someone when you don’t know what designs they like or don’t like.
Your tutorials are an excellent resource for any experience level of crochet worker. Thank you so much for putting in the time and effort to make these videos.
Hi Glenda, Thank you so very much for sharing your talents with us. The stitch of the week is brilliant! Love them your videos as well as your websight. I would like to request a tutorial on the Seed Stitch. There are so many different ones out there, I would appreciate your take on it. Thanks again for all your work.
Glenda, you are the best teacher on this topic on the internet. You are clear, patient and kind. Even for people who know how to do this, can learn from your work. Thank you for all you offer.
This is a beautiful simple stitch. You make it even more easy. If i follow you I can't go wrong! You are very good. Thank you for teaching this front and back post stitch with theses shells. Awesome!
Another wonderful tutorial. I’ve been looking for a unique stitch for a requested Afghan. I was told “do something different than you’ve done”. So thank you for this perfect timing
Love this pattern! Thanks so much for your great instructions AGAIN- would love for you to do a SIMPLE CABLE stitch for a beginner level cable stitch that would be versitile!

Another beautiful stitch. I love how the columns help make it not too girly although it has shells, I can make something for my grandson. Can't wait to send a pic of your lacy arrow stitch Im currently using as a blanket pattern for Camden. Its coming out Gorgeous
Hi Glenda wow gorgeous stitch l was looking for a new idea for my baby blankets l do for charity and you've just made up my mind thank you so much for a. Great tutorial love your videos so much and look forward to them all xx
oh my I am absolutely in love with this pattern. I could not wait to try it. However I did have a hard time with the back post crochet which was my own doing I got some sleep tried it the next day this is coming out beautifully. I am making a baby afghan with this stitch. I do have a question is there a way to run your stitches up the site so you don't have to cut the yarn and weave in a bunch of ends?
Thank u madame for teaching the tutorial i like to make crochet patterns for small babies if i want to make a frock how much stitches i hv to make for 2 yrs
I m working on this with different color of scrap yarn, making it long enough for a twin size bed throw, just letting those of you know, it does eat up a lot of yarn if you plan on making one, but we'll worth it, and the cable looks nice and the feel of the Afghan is heavy.🙂
I have an old go to pattern that's similar it works up in starting ch 1 dc ,sk 2 ch ,shell of 5 dc ,sk 2 ch ,1 dc repeat along ,all other rows dc in dc , shell in shell ,dc in next dc repeat until blanket is finished
Creative Grandma - Great pattern, very pretty. F.Y.I. - I found a couple of mistakes in the video, @20:55 you accidentally chained two when making the shell stitch; and @29:38 you mistakenly said that the odd rows were the front of the work. Thought that you might like to know. Take care, and keep up the good work. :)
Thank You for bringing that to my attention. No matter how many times to try to edit a video sometimes I just miss something. I am so used to working a chain 2 when making a shell stitch, sometimes my brain does not match what I should say. LOL Thanks again for letting me know!!
Why was there a chain 2 in 2nd shell stitch on 3rd row...error? Or reason for that...rest only had 1 chain 1 between the double crochet in shell stitch
Totally enjoyed making a scarf with. This pattern Glenda 😊 thanks a lot for this.

Denischa, if you change colors every two rows, then you can run your colors up the right side of the work and not have to fasten off.
Thank u madame for teaching the tutorial i like to make crochet patterns for small babies if i want to make a frock how much stitches i hv to make for 2 yrs

Would this look good in another plain colour? Like a navy, or a black.
Glenda, I've just finished this pattern in a lap-rug. My question is how would I put an edging/border on it. Thank you. :)

The blue is beautiful. Ms Glenda, when you say worsted weight yarn, what do you mean? Isn’t all yarn worsted weight?
What is the multiples of this pattern if I want to make an Afghan
Thank you for the tutorial. May I ask what the multiples are as I would like to make an afghan. Thank you
Nonna Aurelia She mentions it at the beginning of the video. I believe it was 8+4.
Sandra Omar thank you
It is a multiple of 8 plus 5
Thank you Glenda.

Why was there a chain 2 in 2nd shell stitch on 3rd row...error? Or reason for that...rest only had 1 chain 1 between the double crochet in shell stitch
Stacy, that was an error, I did not realize I done a ch -2, Thank You for bringing it to my attention. It should be a ch-1. Happy Crocheting
Do you create all these stitches?
I have seen you somewhere but do you think i can place it
Hi I could use your Help . I want ti see a seed stich ,Thanks So Much Aleta Sneed
Love the pattern but noticed on row 3 you said chain 2 when doing the first shell stitch but every other shell was a chain 1.
Shawn, that was a mistake I did not caught, it should be a ch-1 Thank You for letting me know.
Very pretty stitch. Thank you.
