As far as the microfiber pieces wearing out, you know all those single socks? Cut open a sock and wrap over the microfiber piece. Or hit up dollar tree and get microfiber cleaning cloths there!!!

I came here because of the infomercial on TV -- that infomercial does NOT play the sound of the mop AT ALL!! So it's misleading, making it seem like it has NO noise. they actually MUTE the sound of the mop!!

Thanks Jeff. I love your reviews. Not only do I enjoy listening to you more than others I've watched but you really have saved me money. I love gadgets and I have wasted money in the past. Now, I check your reviews first and I don't waste my money any more. I have gotten some items that were worth it through your videos and this one isn't worth it for me. Thanks again Jeff.

I would definitely buy it, but not for $60 .. 🤔
Looks like it did a fine job with just water .. a quick way to run it across the floor and get foot prints & little sticky spots .. 👍🏼
Should be more like $29.95 ..
The aluminum handle is super cheap .. so ya, if less cost .. I’d prob purchase it ..

Hey what I like about your video is I watch that commercial I caught the last half an hour of it and they never showed how to charge it and as soon as I went on UA-cam and got your video you explain to me how to charge up the police mop as well as how long to charge it up so for that purpose I’m giving you thumbs up and I’m going to purchase it because they got two for the price of one Thank you as always no disrespect New York City USA 🇺🇸

I purchased the Floor Police mop and just love it. Yes it can take a little longer to go over the floor but because the unit is light weight it makes it easier to use especially if you have arthritis. I also bought separate cleaning pads and use the mop to wash my walls; again the unit is light weight and can be used over my head on the walls. Corners are a bit of a problem but I have a square tool to handle that.

Thanks for the demonstration. I was curious about the charging cord which you showed. I would have liked to see how it works on concrete tile and grout floors though. I have them on all my apartment floors. I also think cleaning the floor boards, also cleaning walls above my cabinets that catch grease splatters would be handy as I probably wouldn't have to stand on a ladder taking a chance on falling. Now to decide to buy or not. A senior viewer

Do NOT use this mop on laminated floors. The mechanism of this mop is basically a buffering action that will create microscopic swirl marks that - over time - will "dull" the laminate.

Hi Jeff, I enjoyed watching your "Floor Police" demonstration. I have wood laminate floors that I use a Swiffer with a Heavy-Duty pad to clean and to slightly polish the wood laminate floors. Before I start with the Swiffer, I spray some liquid Bruce Hardwood & Laminate Floor Cleaner. Do you think the "Floor Police" can save me some elbow pain by using it instead of a Swiffer with a HD pad for cleaning and at least slightly polish the laminate floor. Thank you and please keep on making your extremely helpful videos. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year...Ken

  • @ChristDied_PayingForYourSins

I clean homes for a living. This mop would never be sufficient.
If I took 5 minutes on 4 tiny spots of a 500 to 1000 square foot room in the big homes I clean I'd waste too much time. Annnd...
Floors, of course, usually haven't been cleaned for a week (or more) and have been walked on daily thereby spreading everyday dirt, dust and outside-brought-in dirt that sticks even after sweeping or vacuuming up loose dirt.
This would just circulate the adhered dirt and the mop heads would get dirtier and dirtier unless you rinse them both and repeat. I'd recommend getting several mop heads to interchange, that you can pre-wet or maybe even have a bucket of water with you to make the changing out easier.
I do like that it scrubs though. Thank you for yor review!

I just saw this today for the first time. It looked very interesting! I noted in your trial review how very noisy this mop is when it's on! No way I could handle that loud of constant noise!! Secondly, you could tell it was not as "fast" cleaning as the commercial leads one to believe. I think it would take a long time to clean even a small room. And lastly, I'm still not convinced it would clean adequately around the toilet area. Thank you for your review. And no, I'll still use my wetjet swiffer and sponge mop...they're faster without too much effort.

Great review. I can definitely see a use for it. The infomercial made it look like it picked up instantly but definitely more time consuming. It would be cool if it had adjustable motor speed. The camera makes it look slow. I know if it had thousands RPM spinning it could be a potential child hazard. They could mke that with a safety protection switch. Thank you. I'd still probably get it because there are a couple spots on the floor that won't clean with anything else.

Takes far too long for my liking. Not time saving if it takes 20 minutes to mop a kitchen. I could do that with a standard mop in 5 minutes. Albeit more effort needed, and not easy if you are disabled, so I can see the police mop would be good for that. Thanks for your review, it has made me decide not too buy.

How do you rinse during mopping?

    • @son_of_guns

Very good question, I don't think you can, I'd like to see more in depth testing by an actual mechanical and in depth person

    • @Jeffreviews4u
      @Jeffreviews4u  2 роки тому +1

In my opinion the mop is not intended to be rinsed (not like traditional mopping.) The idea is once you're done throw the pads in the washer/dryer and you're done.

Yes it will run longer than 90 minutes but the speed it runs gets slower and slower. I'd use it 60 minutes then recharge.

Takes way too long and doesn't do corners. You have to go back and manually clean the corners. I'm not impressed.

Don't buy! I bought one and loved it till it quit working after 6 months. I read the reviews and they said the same thing and I ignored them. So that is on me. But I am telling you get a different kind. The company will only stand behind them for 30 days. I think this is because they know they quit in a few months. Don't waste your money!!!

Thank you for testing on dry substances. I don't care what someone is using if they treat right away or comes off with ease.
I hate laundry detergent commercials. Because one doesn't even need detergent when they are washing an item immediately after spill.
    Great job!
My mother used to make us clean the floors and stairs with a brush, a bucket and a wash cloth. I promise you one could eat off our floors. We grew up in a 12k sq feet house with hard wood in every surface except one of the living rooms. The happiest day of my life was when my parents hired a live in maid. Only to discover they still made us help clean floors and make dinner. Sucked ass.
