Very nice. I've been making meat Ukrainian cabbage rolls with tomato sauce for 55 years so far. I start a week early to ferment my cabbage leaves into sour cabbage. You may want to try it , too, as a fun experiment. Yours look delicious and I will try them. I make them by holding the leaf in my hand. I just made several hundred last week for the deep freezer. Thanks for a new idea!

Do you ferment the whole cabbage ? Or do you Seperate the leaves ? Can you please share your fermentation process?

I would say the filling is rather for vine leave sarma and not cabbage rolls. But perhaps there are regional differences?
