    Very nice. I've been making meat Ukrainian cabbage rolls with tomato sauce for 55 years so far. I start a week early to ferment my cabbage leaves into sour cabbage. You may want to try it , too, as a fun experiment. Yours look delicious and I will try them. I make them by holding the leaf in my hand. I just made several hundred last week for the deep freezer. Thanks for a new idea!

      Do you ferment the whole cabbage ? Or do you Seperate the leaves ? Can you please share your fermentation process?

    We have stuffed cabbage recipe in Lebanon, we do it with meat and rice. Your recipe looks very delicious, will definitely try it!

      Use pine nuts.totally different texture when boiled.

    my mom would make it with saur cabbage and meat but I dont know the recipe would be awsome if you do that too

    I would say the filling is rather for vine leave sarma and not cabbage rolls. But perhaps there are regional differences?
