The guy in charge of rune factory 4 worked on trio of towns so it makes sense. Trip of towns is the only story of seasons/ harvest moon with the beefiest dialogue
The gameplay and the storyline for each bachelor here was so amazing. It was the first game from HM/SoS that I had a hard time choosing who to marry lmao
I loved all the options for your house...there were so many styles and they all looked so pretty. The big thing I struggled with was trying to min-max even when I didn't want to xD There always seemed like there was so much stuff I needed to have for crafting it was overwhelming. And yet this is still the game I had the most fun with. I would love a port of this game to switch.

Would you recommend Mineral Town or Wonderful life for the switch? I wanna get into one of these and I never noticed I even noticed I owned this game on my 3Ds.
@@alz397 I personally was never really fond of "a wonderful life" so I would always recommend "Friends of Mineral Town". But this isn't fair cause I never touched the AWL remake. If you want a more of a "see your child grow up"-element - AWL might be for you while FOMT is just your average static farming sim.
@@lokis_dad honestly that is fair enough. People have said that the original and the remake are beyond similar. :) i am going to wait for a HUGE sale on FOMT and buy that one first. Something about that Chibi art style is screaming at me. It's too cute compared to the other games.
Watching this footage gave me Dejavu- like I knew I recognized the customized character. Looked at the description and there it was- a playlist I haven’t watched in years. Talk about a blast of nostalgia.
Komari is my favorite too She doesn't put on any airs or neurotic I had five fertilizer factories, one for each fertilizer type...but they were MEGA fertilizers...oooh!
i love this game so much!! i like the thing where u help upgrade the towns, it gives such a great incentive to do stuff. i mostly wanted the clothes, but yeah!! also ford is my favorite bachelor PERIOD in any farm sim, he has my whole heart. i married yuzuki in one of my playthroughs, and i felt so bad that i stopped playing that file to start another one and marry ford again 😂 good stuff here in this one :-)

I loved this video! Trio of Towns is one of my top 5 HM/SOS games. I disagree with you on some of the characters--especially Siluka, whom I wasn't originally planning to marry but won me over by being funny, charming, and very sweet--but I respect your opinion
I love this game! I picked it up again after hiatus. I love how there’s more to do over time and the game does not grow boring or stagnant. I married Wayne! He’s the best husband. I love the friends to lovers trope. His events are the most realistic tbh, and I love how the story goes you love one another despite the imperfections (esp ppl put him on the pedestal). The vibe of Wayne as a husband is “safe refuge”. I bought the game for Yuzuki, but unexpectedly fell in love with Wayne. Yuzuki feels like your first love (butterflies and jittery feelings), but with Wayne, it’s just calm, yet could be playful. He is a well-written character and it’s sad he receives a lot of hate when there’s more depth. Can’t wait for our child to come! ❤
I never got to play trio, but I do have two towns. Loved it (it was the start of changing the Avatar's clothes), but I do agree when they say it's the longest and one of the hardest to finish. That and the bug in the 3DS version...😅
Potentially in the future! I do own Tree of Tranquility but haven't played much of it. I've only heard good things about animal parade and would love to play it but I currently don't own it (but I can find another way...)

Of all the Harvest Moon games I've played my personal favourite is Harvest Moon Tale of Two Towns (I made a video on it too) it's a childhood favourite of mine and I just really like that one but still enjoy Trio of Towns enough too. I'd like to play some of the older titles though like friends of mineral town, Popuri and Gray intrigue me~
Awesome video & keep up the good work & i remember playing this game a really long time ago but i really hate the story completely because of the daddy issues & I ending up married to ford on my 2nd play through & my goodness ford was super funny bachelor ever & he always made me laugh so hard & that really made my day no matter what & his confession & his proposal are so adorable & his dating cutscene are super funny even I enjoy the game with him right by my side no matter what

hmmm that's tricky considering I haven't played them all but Trio of Towns is definitely a good option, also Friends of Mineral Town. I know there's a switch port but I'd say go for the original for the classic Harvest Moon experience
