- Is the Fuji X10 The Best Travel Camera on the market right now? I think so! It's so versatile and was a big element of my recent 5-week trip across America! What budget camera do you use?

just picked up an X20.... I'm chuffed with it. Such a charming little camera!
I’ve had mine since new had an original 1st gen X100 first, tight it was too big at the time for what I wanted (pocket camera) so I returned it and got the X10. I did and still do love that it looks like a scaled down X100 rangefinder style. It was also one of very few options at the time that shot raw AND had an optical VF. Where it fell short is sensor not just the size and rez, but its NOT x-trans like all other fuji it’s CMOS. At the time I didn’t know the advantage of x-trans but later realized how they handicapped this with cmos. I own multiple fuji cameras. The x10 sat for a long time but I happened to shoot with it last weekend just to have some fun.
I was able to repair an old X10 Camera that had a Focus Error, which I paid EUR90. Was able to Tear Down the camera, remove and clean the Lends Unit. Now it works perfectly and is in great condition. A great buy for EUR90. Complements my X30 and X100T. Looks better than the others, is smaller than the others, so easy to take everywhere. Love Fuji cameras in 2023.
I feel and share your joy for this little camera. I love the X10. I wish there were a contemporary version with updated specs. An APSC sensor would be great too (like the X70). It is such a beautiful piece of equipment to look at and to hold that my teenage daughter has now commandeered it.
Totally agree
Would like to try this one. I have the Ricoh GR1 and love it a lot. Also use Fuji XT3 / XT2 / X-E1.
I have an X10 in one pocket and an origihal Ricoh GR Digital in the other pocket.
I like using the optical viewfinder.
Was my first proper camera and I now only use it as a point and shoot. Way more capable than many in the same category. Perfect street photography camera.
Can you please tell me the price of this camera?
I love this camera so much! My last street photography video in Oslo I took some great pictures!
It's so good! I love it!!
Very cool review, thanks 🙂
Here it is available on scrap as I got one just for US$ 10/- it is working and I like it’s f/2 lens. The results are pretty decent coz it is fujifilm that I have studied about.
this is so comprehensive! got a secondhand and its coming! but thanks for the content. question: was wondering why you are keen on using the film simulations?
I just bought it for 80€ it’s perfect tiny very simple and portable and I love its design
Nice man!
This is one of my all time favorite cameras, I used mine heavily until it suddenly stopped turning on; I wonder how robust that twist mechanism was. I would absolutely buy an updated version!
Get another! :))
Updated version Fujifilm x100v ?
Just hope it doesn’t break because Fujifilm doesn’t have parts for it anymore. Terrible customer support.
Did you use any type of filter for the photos shown?
Been looking for a good camera that doesn’t break the bank ever since film prices started rising. Looks like the X10 might be the one.
Really cool video!
Thanks man
One other upside of this little camera is that it has optical image stabilization and it works well both for stills and video. Dramatically increases the likelihood of getting a usable image.
Yes!! Absolutely
Hey mate love the video! It’s been 6 months now, how are you finding it?
yes!!!!!
Hello this was a great video! But I just have a question, is it possible to put it on some specific settings that will give you film-like pictures without having to edit the pictures?
Absolutely. You have the Fujifilm original film filters in your settings
i have an original sony rx-100 and i absolutely love it for the same reasons you love your x-10, its not as stylish but it takes much better quality photos while keeping the "film" look. The best purchase of my life. You should check it out too, good vid btw.
The Sony takes much better photos than the Fujifilm?
@@benfromatlantis in terms of quality, yes.
Wow. perfect content,
Thank you man!
Nice vid, will be adding this to the list of cameras I am looking at at the moment. Want something I can take with me while moving around Tokyo/Japan on my daily adventures. Cheers!
Go for it! It won't disappoint!
I've had this camera in my drawer collecting dust for years now! Your video has inspired to take it on my next trip haha. Where did you get the crossbody strap for the camera? looks very aesthetic!

전 이 카메라를 1년 사용해 봤습니다
매우 훌륭한 카메라 라도 할 수 있죠, 혹시 뷰 파인더로
사진을 찍는 방법을 알고 있나요? 아직도
그 사용법을 모르겠습니다…
How do pictures look straight out of the camera? I’m interested in buying a fujifilm camera due to their film simulations as I want the film look without having to personally edit my pictures. Would you recommend this camera for that?
absolutely.
are there different X10-versions out? I only find a 12 year old model?
Please answerrrr. I have xt-2 and i’m want how to take photos like the x10.. which lens do yall think is best for it?
Learn photography
4:01 so cool😂.
Love the camera! What kind of strap are you using with it?
A random one from Etsy!
@@tomknibbs post the link!
Does this camera have film simulation modes?
It does!
@@tomknibbs thanks alot
Your missing a truck here by shooting raw. I skyways use the EXR modes and the jpg film silmulations are lush
Might have to give them a try!
Do you have some recipes?
You can see how I edited them here: ua-cam.com/video/fOGzBHLWako/v-deo.html
What do you don't like about this camera?
I do like that I do and don’t like both the don’t, and the do likes.
Hello this was a great video! But I just have a question, is it possible to put it on some specific settings that will give you film-like pictures without having to edit the pictures?
Thank you! Not that I'm aware of! I've always edited them
