Add your 7inch screen on top, swivel it to face front. Plug into power source. Vlog. I do believe that vloggers reviewing cameras sets a hidden bias where the need for auto focus is overstated because the vlogger has to be in front of the camera to do the vlog.

To me, the black magic looks like a really high defo iPhone rather than the filmic dynamic range and colour science Sony provides. I will be getting the fx3 soon

are there different X10-versions out? I only find a 12 year old model?

I have both this X10 and the big brother X-S1. Both are my main shooters to this day from when I bought them new. I love both, No lenses to shlep around. BIg zoom range of the X-S1 for wild life, and this X10 for everyday street photography. The JPG from these two cameras are amazing. I do the film look thing with the jpgs. I never shoot raw with them as the jpgs are sooooo good! I keep sending Fujifilm emails asking for new X-S1 and X10 updated versions. Both would be awesome!

I am buying up these second hand to stock up on them. Have four now and hoarding them. Have a lot of m4/3 lenses snd plan to shoot on bmpcc4k for at least the coming ten years.

These shots are AMAZING. As a complete novice, I've been looking for an uncomplicated digital camera that can naturally reproduce a film look. I actually would prefer to get an old P+S film camera but thr cost of film is prohibitive as a hobby. These shots of yours are gorgeous and exactly what i have in my mind. I have to assume these went through editing after the fact? These arent just the film simulator presets in the camera or a custimized settings recipe, right?

Awsome video, it has really pushed me to explore the posibilities of curves. I was wondering if you were editing raws or jpg? Also, what are your X10 settings?

Brah! For all the amazing reasons you just mention, i will never get rid of my pocket4k. It is a cinéma camera for film type of footage. Get an extra automatic hybrid camera on top of that for commercial stuff.

didn't do rigging it out thing, just got 3 extra batteries and a ssd, work just fine for me.

Had mine from new (with the updated sensor) and I'm really only now learning how to use it. Most commentators are recommending to shoot jpg only because the results are so good right out of the camera. Playing with the different film simulations and 'recipes' is so much fun.
