Gun laws are excessive by reasonable standards, but the relatively low number of guns in the UK is purely down to not that many people wanting them lol. Teirdalin after seeing how many issues this guy had to get the game properly running in VR and that he had to put up with so much jammed up stuff, how can you not appreciate that getting games to run well in VR is actually quite hard and would most likely not have been accomplished by modders, at least for quite some time. I’m not justifying 60 dollars, but it’s not just an official mod.
@@Billy-vb3qq Only thing that could not be added by modders is hand controls, and that is about a mods worth of effort in the exe with access to the source code. Literally the same exact files as the normal FO4 game, just with two new files being the executable and the esp if I recall from when I was messing with my files. Also the resolution in the game is a bit of a blurry or overly sharp mess because they had the resolution tied to the testing screen resolution instead of the VR headset res, and they still never fixed this minor problem after it's been reported and claimed to be fixed forever now; leaving the game a bit of an ugly mess when played. I still enjoy it because- VR gunplay in Fallout, but it's a complete ripoff at full price for people who already own the base game; and a bit of an insult releasing it not as a DLC. I may be happier with FO4 vr if they make it at least as good looking as VorpX with normal Fallout 4- or as clear looking as at least a unity game at the very, very least. Skyrim VR suffers from kinda blurry and oddly sharp visuals too but not as bad as FO4 VR. But it'll always be sitting in my library for if they ever decide to fix things; which seems unlikely if FO76 is any indication of their current competence levels.

It was 85 and they got 84. Also, they've made plenty of games since New Vegas. As for Fallout games, I don't see the need. Bethesda gave them the goal of a metacritic score of 85 because that would've been about 6 points below what Fallout 3 got (I'm averaging the score between available platforms.) Actually, if we go by metacritic averages, Fallout New Vegas with its average of 83.33, did wore than Fallout 3 or Fallout 4, which each got a average of 91.33 and 86.33 respectively. Personally, I enjoyed all three games equally.
They don't want a third party developer to basically make a game out of rubber band and paper clips...... They would rather do that themselves *Roast of the year*
When you said “asynchronous spacewarp”, the video started lagging, which I thought was part of the joke. But then it didn’t stop lagging. I realized it wasn’t a joke, and I rewound a little to fix it. You should’ve actually done that, though.
I was truly confused. I have almost 20 different tortellini recipes I make frequently, I was questioning my sanity a little. Thank you for confirming I'm not, in fact, totally insane.
That distortion from the initial settings reminds me of when I was playing around with FOV in my games and turned the setting up too high. Even without a screen strapped to my face, it still created a similar feeling of nausea.
I think that this problem could be alleviated somewhat by using a setting found in Bioshock 1: Horizontal FOV+ Lock. What it did was keep your vertical vision somewhat restricted but allowed horizontal vision more freedom to see. Although it was still a bit restrictive in terms of vision. Better than regular 65° FOV but not much.
To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day Hardly spoke to folks around him, didn't have too much to say, No one dared to ask his business, no one dared to make a slip The stranger there among them had a big iron on his hip, Big iron on his hip It was early in the morning when he rode into the town He came riding from the south side, slowly lookin' all around "He's an outlaw loose and runnin'", came a whisper from each lip "And he's here to do some business with a big iron on his hip, Big iron on his hip" In this town there lived an outlaw by the name of Texas Red Many men had tried to take him and that many men were dead He was vicious and a killer, though a youth of twenty four And the notches on his pistol numbered one and nineteen more, One and nineteen more Now the stranger started talkin' made it plain to folks around Was an Arizonia ranger, wouldn't be too long in town He was here to take an outlaw back alive or maybe dead And he said it didn't matter that he was after Texas Red, After Texas Red Wasn't long before this story was relayed to Texas Red But the outlaw didn't worry, men who tried before were dead Twenty men had tried to take him, twenty men had made a slip, Twenty one would be the ranger with the big iron on his hip, Big iron on his hip Now the morning passed so quickly and it was time for them to meet It was twenty past eleven when they rode out in the street Folks were watchin' from their windows, Every body held their breath, They knew this handsome ranger was about to meet his death, About to meet his death There was twenty feet between them When they stopped to make their play And the swiftness of the Ranger still talked about today Texas Red had not cleared leather when a bullet fairly ripped And the ranger's aim was deadly, with the big iron on his hip, Big iron on his hip It was over in a moment and the crowd all gathered 'round There before them lay the body of the outlaw on the ground Oh, he might have went on livin' but he made one fatal slip When he tried to match the ranger with the big iron on his hip, Big iron on his hip Big iron, big iron, Oh he tried to match the ranger with the big iron on his hip, Big iron on his hip

I have little to no interest in running older games VR and this video is still plenty entertaining to watch. Well done.
So, what we've learned today, 5 years ago; VR was a mistak- Also gotta love how online troubleshooting, hasn't changed much at all 1. "Im having a problem" 2. "Im having the same problem." 3. "Im not having that problem at all" 4. "Try this?" (doesn't work) 1. "Nevermind i fixed it." (does not elaborate) Into the vaults of history it goes
And now I'm going to quote "you can take the compass out for dinner! ...you haven't touched your ravioli" at everyone I come across no matter the person, desperately hoping for laughter, as I descend further into madness from exposure to the internet for more than 10 minutes each day.
Agreed, ever since he said that Metroid Prime is his favorite (and mine) game of all time weeks to months ago, I've been wanting him to do a vid on it in VR and in 4K possibly.
"New Vegas is not responding" *THIS SPOKE TO ME ON ALL PHYSICAL AND METAPHYSICAL LEVELS!!!!* seeing that every ten minutes (and sometimes not seeing it cause the game just froze without a warning) is why I forsake New Vegas. And no I will not turn off my mods because then what's the goddamn point of PC New Vegas if not for Tits, Guns, and Android races
I mean, it's not the mods that are the problem. But you really have to know what you are doing, and download at least five separate bugfixing mods to make it work out properly.
Edit: 1:25 Hey Hey Hey! Me: When I'm on my phone at night under the blankets and my parent catches me, pulling the blanket off me snatching up my phone.
It does look cool in VR. Unfortunately, that doesn't do much for me. If they could implement robust motion controller support, so that we could do everything by hand and feel like we're actually in the world, it would make the difference between not being worth playing in VR at all and being worth just about any amount of money to experience... at least, to me =p

@@teirdalin What's funny is that most modded weapons work in fallout 4 VR, and most DLC weapons, sidequests, and missions work fine aswell, Had no problems at all with far harbor, and one of the weapons i used was from there, and it worked completely fine.
@@Billy-vb3qq This guy basically managed to do it in like the probably the span of a week, Bethesda has entire teams of people, it would be butt fuck easy for them to make Fallout VR if this guy can accomplish almost the same thing with no game making experience

the HELIOS joke at 2:00 killed me. I haven't laughed that genuinely hard at a joke in a very long time.
"I play racing games" SMACK "The demon is defeated"
i wish Bethesda would let obsidian make another game...
Not going to happen after they made them look bad last time.
Elvin Glass not true, the game only got 94% when the goal was 95% so it was almost the score Bethesda wanted
They would rather do that themselves *Roast of the year*
ConnorJMiner I don’t fallout is cancer they should make a halo game with Microsoft
God damn now that's a lot of set up to play something.

When you said “asynchronous spacewarp”, the video started lagging, which I thought was part of the joke. But then it didn’t stop lagging. I realized it wasn’t a joke, and I rewound a little to fix it. You should’ve actually done that, though.

9:45 “Make it happen”
Last thing I want is for people to try and fail at adapting Fallout on screen
Well well, would you look at that
Love how this almost turned into a howtobasic video randomly
To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day
Hardly spoke to folks around him, didn't have too much to say,
No one dared to ask his business, no one dared to make a slip
The stranger there among them had a big iron on his hip,
Big iron on his hip
It was early in the morning when he rode into the town
He came riding from the south side, slowly lookin' all around
"He's an outlaw loose and runnin'", came a whisper from each lip
"And he's here to do some business with a big iron on his hip,
Big iron on his hip"
In this town there lived an outlaw by the name of Texas Red
Many men had tried to take him and that many men were dead
He was vicious and a killer, though a youth of twenty four
And the notches on his pistol numbered one and nineteen more,
One and nineteen more
Now the stranger started talkin' made it plain to folks around
Was an Arizonia ranger, wouldn't be too long in town
He was here to take an outlaw back alive or maybe dead
And he said it didn't matter that he was after Texas Red,
After Texas Red
Wasn't long before this story was relayed to Texas Red
But the outlaw didn't worry, men who tried before were dead
Twenty men had tried to take him, twenty men had made a slip,
Twenty one would be the ranger with the big iron on his hip,
Big iron on his hip
Now the morning passed so quickly and it was time for them to meet
It was twenty past eleven when they rode out in the street
Folks were watchin' from their windows,
Every body held their breath,
They knew this handsome ranger was about to meet his death,
About to meet his death
There was twenty feet between them
When they stopped to make their play
And the swiftness of the Ranger still talked about today
Texas Red had not cleared leather when a bullet fairly ripped
And the ranger's aim was deadly, with the big iron on his hip,
Big iron on his hip
It was over in a moment and the crowd all gathered 'round
There before them lay the body of the outlaw on the ground
Oh, he might have went on livin' but he made one fatal slip
When he tried to match the ranger with the big iron on his hip,
Big iron on his hip
Big iron, big iron,
Oh he tried to match the ranger with the big iron on his hip,
Big iron on his hip
>TFW Spanish and just realized it says "Agua fría" (cold water)
Your avatar is very fitting here
Loved the video. Love the Todd Howard part, bringing up the fact that freeware usually works better and has better support that the stuff you pay for, "this is beneath me, Dave" and SPACEWARP!!!!
I have little to no interest in running older games VR and this video is still plenty entertaining to watch. Well done.
It may be superfluous, but I don't care: PLEASE review Alien: Isolation in VR.

Agreed, ever since he said that Metroid Prime is his favorite (and mine) game of all time weeks to months ago, I've been wanting him to do a vid on it in VR and in 4K possibly.
"New Vegas is not responding"
*THIS SPOKE TO ME ON ALL PHYSICAL AND METAPHYSICAL LEVELS!!!!*
seeing that every ten minutes (and sometimes not seeing it cause the game just froze without a warning) is why I forsake New Vegas. And no I will not turn off my mods because then what's the goddamn point of PC New Vegas if not for Tits, Guns, and Android races
I mean, it's not the mods that are the problem.
But you really have to know what you are doing, and download at least five separate bugfixing mods to make it work out properly.

Subnautica would be cool if it's in vr.
Caac you’re correct
It does look cool in VR. Unfortunately, that doesn't do much for me. If they could implement robust motion controller support, so that we could do everything by hand and feel like we're actually in the world, it would make the difference between not being worth playing in VR at all and being worth just about any amount of money to experience... at least, to me =p
it IS in VR ;-)
