Now I am curious who genuinely loves your art that followed and how long they will stick around. Thank you for posting your experience and numbers! This video made me feel better! So many people tell me to just post consistently and I'll grow. All I can manage at the moment is one post a week though with a job and other responsibilities. So, I was feeling like it's my fault but, after all your work, losing followers and then only gaining 800 . . . It doesn't make me feel as frustrated/alone with the entire growth process on social media. Even a larger account like yours with some really great content struggles. At this point, I'm just gonna try and let go and just post for the few who actually care about my artwork. It's too much to stress over the numbers. 😅
Every time I post a reel, it feels like a gamble on whether it will do well or not 😅 but I've noticed a trend that actually the reels that take me the least amount of time editing usually end up performing the best. In the case of losing followers after posting, I actually see that as a good thing! Unengaged followers don't help your posts since they're being shown the content and telling the algorithm that your videos are uninteresting (and they are to them lol) so it's better in the long run for them to unfollow
that's actually such a good take!!! honestly, it's something I don't mind- even if it makes content creation tougher. AND YES- the lowest effort videos are the best performers??? LOL I need to channel that more
Oooh yes, interestingly, most of them performed the same-ish. The top 5 reels on insta were more popular on TT- but with way way less views/plays (my TT is dead lol)
I think it would be interesting to see if you got more orders during those 30 days! Sure, maybe you didn’t gain thousands of followers but did these videos encourage your existing following to purchase more? :) (From a marketing girlie)
That’s a GREAT question!! I honestly would say that it seems like I got the same number of orders- there was no major influx. But to be more definitive I should offer something like a coupon code that would only be seen on my reels/captions to see how many orders are directly driven from content 🤔🤔 HMm- next reels experiment??
