I've always loved Eleven's introduction because unlike the other doctors his first episode is basically a fairytale, something that feel like Peter Pan. I really wish they pushed through having athe child Amy Pond as a companion.
I love the idea that the 10th doctor’s Tardis had a swimming pool in the library, it fits him so well.
"-All the way down to the library, hell of a climb back up."
It's weird to think the Doctor was originally going to take a child with him considering how dangerous his journeys are.

For the 1st 15 hours after changing face, a Time Lord is indestructible. What 11th is doing after he falls from the TARDIS is known in Gallifreyan circles as energy shedding. In basic terms, he is shedding off all that nuclear energy he aborbed in previous incarnation plus excess regeneration energy. This is not surprising, at least to a Gallifreyan.
On reflection, the swimming pool being in the library isn't so much unusual and backwards as it is extremely first class. I mean, a swimming pool surrounded by a library? I'm down.

this is the episode that made me the most sad becasue of that little girl who was promised she be with the doctor in 5 minutes and anded up waiting 12 years. Good thing they decided to make the doctor go back by Amy telling him to go see her
He had me at "so was the swimming pool"
I can understand why she thinks he's a policeman. He did just come out of a Police Box and he sort of looks like a policeman.

Did anyone else realized that the doctor finally made it to Easter?!?!
This was the last great doctor and the very last couple of seasons we got, that were truly brilliantly written and executed 😞 I miss 10 and 11 so terribly much….they were both amazing in their incarnation of the Doctor 😭 😭 😭
