Ive tried a few of this guys recipes and each one is better than the previous, they are simple to make too, absolutely delicious, we love these recipes and are now the only ones I use. Thank you. ❤
I have made butter chicken many many times. Usually with heavy cream or coconut milk. So this healthier version is a win. It tastes amazing. I use a tomatoe sauce can, and I do add ginger to the marinate. This is great.
Before adding the sauce to the chicken, add 1/4 cup of Low Fat Creamer (taste the sauce before adding and add more to your liking). Finally add the sauce to the chicken. Thank me later
I tried this recipe with my girlfriend (she's a great cook) and we fucking loved it. It tasted just like any other great restaurant. Thank you Jalal, god bless. Amen.
How many servings does the whole recipe make? Also keep up with the videos, you are hella underrated. Just came across your content and loving it but really confused on the serving part.
It's 2 servings. Atleast 99% of the recipes are. Just multiply or divide as you need. In my opinion, it's easier to just buy the book especially since it's affordable, you only pay once, and he keeps updating it.
Need to roast onions well. Raw onions puréed would not get roasted well later, in a jiffy. A recipe is not just a sequence of steps . It’s a sequence of steps executed correctly.
@@GiraffeFeaturesHow is it bland, at least compared to American food like meatloaf and chicken pot pie? It has paprika, garam masala, and turmeric! Surely that is enough flavor. Even so, mango chutney makes everything better haha!
not really, no. chicken thighs are overrated, i often find that those who like thighs more just cant cook breast properly. and the whole point of this video is to make butter chicken as low calorie as possible
@@Bakaaahsjflflakahhdkf You might be right, but that's the point of chicken thighs, you can't fail cooking it, you don't have to baby it, and for the price difference? Not worth it.
well traditionally this would call for heavy cream which would double its calories so this recipe has a higher protein to calorie ratio than it would traditionally
A bonus is adding fenugreek
Number 1 recipe 👌
Making that tonight
What did you think?
@@GiraffeFeatures it was lovely
@@Ollie.2mdid you use a full onion? I feel like that’s too much but I’m not sure
@@equinox2655same
@@equinox2655it’s actually not too much bcos he blends it so the onion makes it sweet

Make this! Simple to follow and so
good!
Man. Looking delicious 😋
My fav food, never made before cause it always seemed to be complicated, this one seems easy
omg this was the best meal I’ve ever made
I made this today but three times the volume for lunches. Amazing thanks
Bro I'm a new cook, so if you make 3 times the volume, how much of the spices you use. Cause 3 times spices would be overkill I know
@@Coffee_of_entrepreneurs I upped the spice x2 then added more to taste. Works out great
Love it!!
I made this today, great recipe. I didn't have canned tomatoes, so I used tomato pasata instead and sliced 2 tomatoes.
Yummy 😋
Ah! the garam masala. Backbone of every Indian dishes.
Like gochujang to korean dishes
Making this tomorrow
¿How did it go?
@@DoesntMatter-fo1nnit came out good. Reminds me of chicken Tikka masala a little bit
I really liked it nd I am definitely going to make it. So easy. ❤❤❤❤❤😂
That looks so good. I can't get the one seasoning here though unfortunately.
Amazon the garam masala, it's not close to the same thing without it
Dude, you gotta add the ginger paste with the garlic! So much better

Mine is perfect but more red, any tips?
can i get list of ingridents plz
Do the macros include the rice?
Maked yesterday
🤤
Well it’s official, now I’m hungry!
How does your chicken come out so well after being crowded in the pan? Very high heat?
It said in the video it's high heat. I cook chicken like this all the time and just tried this tonight. It turned out fine
There is of course no need to sear before hand, most authentic Indian recipes don't bother.
What no dairy option can I use for the Greek yogurt??
Coconut milk in a can
What do the nuts do? Asking because of nut allergies, will need to substitute. Thanks
Little bit of flavor, but mainly to make the sauce thicker
Can I ignore the cashews? I'm allergic
I found out mommy that Pinterest chef.......❤
Just attempted making this and it somehow ended up tasting like chicken parmesan 😭
I’ll get it right one day but ig not today
Papriccaaaaa

Add kasuri methi
Oh yes that herb takes it to another level
if the colour dont change it aint well seasoned just say what golden balance says brooo
Butter chicken is high protein itself😂
As an Indian this shit looks scrumptious
Im following your lead then sir!
I made it, it’s a bit bland, had to eat it with heaps of mango chutney but that’s unfortunately what healthy versions of stuff tends to taste like!
Just as a secondary comment for fairness, I ate the leftovers the next day and it tasted a lot better the day after as the flavours matured.
@@GiraffeFeatures i mean you could have added more spices and a little bit more salt. since its low fat it will have less flavour

Almost perfect, but you forgot ginger.
Where's the butter😅😅😅😅
🤦🏽♀️
What about rice.
Use Kashmiri Red Chili Powder instead
Am I blind/deaf or is there no butter in this butter chicken.
Pretty sure this meal is for weight loss so he used yogurt instead but idk
he used cashew instead because of the healthier fats
Ginger????
Add a glass of milk with that to
“Tíkka massala” and “Butter tchiken” whats the diference???

Butter left the chat 😅😅
So you want a macro friendly dish, but also want a lot of butter? Please make it make sense because that logic seems kinda retarded to me😂
Do you know why it’s called butter chicken ?
butter was replaced by the cashew because of its healthier fats
You do not add garam masala in marination

Why is it called butter chicken
Do yall hate whole spices?
No, no, no. The tomatos needs to be very well cocked, until the oil separates, thats the key. And use kashmiri chili, not paprika.
Kasuri methi
You're brown but qjmhite at the same time. That looks good though
I followed this recipe to a T and I still ended up with Tikka Masala :(
He didn't even use butter
"high protein" its regular food.

I don't think yoghurt goes into the makhani, it would taste nasty
make sure to use the least amount of butter possible in this BUTTER chicken dish😃

Way too much condiments
Ok
To call that butter chicken is blasphemy

Skip tomatoes and add a little bit of sugar to it..
I add a splash of stevia drops

You have got to cut some corners to make it macro friendly.
This shit is not easy. It took 30 steps and 100 dishes after.
You have to season your chicken, and cook some vegetables. Bruh this shit ain't hard.
